Chapter 1285: Chapter 118 Elder Yakin_5
The four elders shifted their positions again, each standing in a row, their left hands resting on the shoulder of the person in front. With their right hands, they drew a strange arc in the air with their Magic Wands. "Buzz—Buzz—Buzz—Buzz—" A look of confusion appeared in Ah Dai’s eyes as he spat out another mouthful of blood. The light from the Dragon’s Blood suddenly intensified, not to protect himself but to shield Xuan Yue behind him along with the red glow of the Phoenix’s Blood. Ah Dai’s body slowly slumped at Xuan Yue’s feet, the painful expression on his face gradually soothing as he fell into a faint.
The look of pain was evident in Xuan Yue’s eyes; she wanted to reach out and pull Ah Dai up but couldn’t muster any strength. All her Energy was being used to counter the four elders in front of her.
The faces of the four elders changed dramatically, a look of horror in their eyes. Except for the leading elder, the three behind let go of their Wooden Staffs, placing both hands on the back of the person in front of them. A faint silver light shot from their eyes, instantaneously linking their spirits as one. The leading elder’s hands were positioned with the thumb and middle finger knotted together, one hand erected in front of him with the palm facing left, and the other hand supporting it from beneath, palm facing upwards. His face looked somewhat pale, but he still resolutely shouted: "Align—"
Finally, on the seventh shout from the leading elder, Xuan Yue could no longer hold on. She spat out two mouthfuls of blood, her eyes turning a dull gray as she slowly collapsed to the ground. Before she passed out, her right hand tightly clutched Ah Dai’s right hand lying in front of her, and then she lost consciousness. Even in death, she wished to be with the one she loved; this was her last remaining thought.
Seeing Xuan Yue fall, the four elders seemed to breathe a sigh of relief. The leading elder said indifferently, "Someone, bind them up, take them back, and do not harm them in the slightest." Having said that, along with the other three elders, he walked somewhat unsteadily over to the utterly stunned Di Ya, "Clan Leader, let’s go back. Remember, please don’t hurt these people."
What could Di Ya say now? Such powerful opponents had been defeated by the combined effort of the four elders. Although she didn’t understand what had happened, her admiration for the elders reached an unprecedented level. She promptly and respectfully said, "Yes," and accompanied the four elders slowly out of the woods.
The four elders of the Yajin Tribe had always been in poor health. They had come in a specially made carriage, and Di Ya personally escorted them onto it. As the carriage curtains were lowered, all four elders simultaneously spouted a mouthful of blood, slumping exhaustedly on the carriage seats, gasping for breath and sweat dripping down their foreheads, looking extremely weary.
Di Ya was shocked and quickly supported the leading elder, channeling her fighting energy into him as she urgently called out, "Elder Tian Luo, what’s wrong with you?"
The leading elder weakly waved his hand, saying, "I’m fine, there’s no need to channel your energy into me, it’s useless. We’ll recover after some rest. These young people have incredibly strong spiritual power. Clan Leader, remember, you must not injure them, nor touch anything on their persons. They will be unconscious for at least seven days. Let’s deal with them after we four have recuperated."
Di Ya nodded repeatedly, saying, "I’ll follow your orders, please rest quickly."
Seven days later, in the Sky Prison of the Yajin Tribe.
Xuan Yue slowly woke up from her slumber, her severe headache made her moan. As her vision gradually cleared, she found herself in a dark room, shaking her head forcefully, she became a bit more lucid. Looking around in confusion, she realized she was lying on the ground on a bed of straw with stone walls surrounding her, indistinct in the dim light. Attempting to move her body, she discovered that she could not summon any strength. Taking a deep breath, she tried to activate her powerful Magic Power, but as soon as a trace of it began to stir, she felt a sharp pain in her head as if responding to the magic, preventing her from focusing her spiritual power. After several attempts resulted in the same outcome, she reluctantly gave up, only to sit there numbly, continually recalling everything that happened before she fainted.
