Chapter 1277: Chapter 117: Dark Iron Explosive Arrow_2

Though Larthas was shocked by the sacred aura emanating from Xuan Yue, he was more enraged by the humiliation Ah Dai had dealt him, bellowing: "Attack, capture them and bring them back, the Clan Leader promises a generous reward." Under his command, hundreds of Forbidden Guards advanced step by step towards the four people trapped in the center, their steel-forged long spears glittering in the sunlight, a chilling intent to kill pervading the air, creating an oppressive atmosphere of solemnity all around.

Kino, who had grown up following Larthas, had never witnessed such a scene and had completely forgotten that he himself was a powerful Magician. Hiding pale-faced behind Xuan Yue, he was at a loss of what to do. Ever since the day he was nearly burnt to death by Xuan Yue’s Fire Phoenix, he had always harbored an inexplicable reverence towards her, second only to his fear of his teacher, Larthas. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Xuan Yue had already begun to softly chant a Spell, the golden light radiating from her becoming increasingly pure and thick, indicating she could take action at any moment. Ah Dai knew full well how formidable Xuan Yue’s strength was; should she strike with all her might, it was likely that very few of the Yajin Tribe would survive. However, unable to calm her while she was incensed, he was at a loss, when suddenly Olivia leaned in close and whispered, "Boss, I have a plan. If they are human, they all fear death. Intimidate them, show them your strength, and no one will dare to stand in our way."

A glimmer of inspiration struck Ah Dai. Recalling the scene when he burst out of Dark City, he quickly stepped in front of Xuan Yue, the white True Qi emanating from his body and he declared solemnly, "Brothers, let me handle this. By the power of the Divine Dragon’s Blood, I invoke thee, uncontrollable gates, to open." A blue light shone forth, and under Ah Dai’s control, the dark iron bow gradually enlarged, the two-hundred-pound dusky bow falling into his hands. By this time, the Guards had gathered around, with dozens of long spears thrusting from all sides, targeting the joints of the four, aiming with precision. Although the Guards’ Battle Aura was not strong, the combined force of a dozen men still posed a significant threat.

Shielded in front of Xuan Yue, the Magic she had been about to complete abruptly stalled, her eyes widening at the sight of the great bow in his hands. She had only ever heard Ah Dai mention the might of the dark iron bow—this was the first time she was witnessing it. Curiosity quickly subdued her anger, she dispersed the ready Magic subconsciously, waiting to see how Ah Dai would deal with these Forbidden Guards.

With a surge of green-blue Solid Battle Aura, Ah Dai’s left hand trembled slightly, releasing five strands of green-blue Solid Battle Aura that ensnared the incoming long spears, making them unable to advance further. With a low shout from Ah Dai, wherever the green-blue light touched, the dozen spears were immediately severed into two, the cut ends as smooth as if sliced by a knife.

Floating aloft by the power of True Qi, Ah Dai pulled back his energy, and with a soft maneuver, pushed out a palm in each of the four cardinal directions—east, south, west, and north—the robust Qi bursting forth suddenly, sending the encroaching Guards staggering back amidst cries of shock. Seizing the opportunity, Ah Dai stabilized his body in the air with Solid Battle Aura and bellowed, "Open—". With a mighty pull, the dark iron bow, under the infusion of True Qi, was drawn taut, creating a whirlwind-like current around Ah Dai, shielding Xuan Yue, Kino, and Olivia at the center and keeping the Guards at bay. The bow reached its full crescent shape, and a green-blue Energy Arrow appeared, changing color as Ah Dai continued to pour his power into it; the green glow faded, leaving a sapphire-like Solid Energy Sword that looked mesmerizingly beautiful. Elated, Ah Dai knew that his Solid Battle Aura had reached the latter half of the fourth Realm. Looking down at the shocked Yajin Tribe soldiers below, he declared with soaring pride, "Go, Solid Iron Bursting Arrow of True Qi." The bowstring hummed lightly, the gargantuan dark iron bow trembling in Ah Dai’s hands as a blue gleam flashed by, carrying with it the explosive strength that Ah Dai had infused, streaking away like lightning.

The blue gleam twisted the air slightly where it passed, and when the Energy Arrow struck the East City Gate of Andis City, the entire door turned blue, and "BOOM"—the solid, one-foot-thick iron-built gate was blown to smithereens by the Solid Iron Bursting Arrow of True Qi, as if it was made of paper. A plethora of iron shards scattered, and several soldiers who had been close to the gate were immediately injured by the flying debris, screams echoing in the air. The might of this arrow far exceeded the initial display at Dark City; even the thick city walls trembled under the force of the explosive Energy. Both Larthas and his Forbidden Guards wore expressions of sheer terror, unable to fathom such a display of martial prowess and spectacle.

Ah Dai did not descend but remained suspended in mid-air, his faint voice reaching every soldier of the Yajin Tribe: "If any of you believe you can withstand my Energy Arrow, then come, I will not hold back anymore."

Inside the Andis City’s East Gate, it became dead silent; even Olivia and Kino were agape. Facing such a heavy gate, even they could not be sure their full power would achieve such a result, whereas Ah Dai had done so by merely drawing a bow and releasing an arrow, accomplishing this mighty feat within three seconds. Kino thought to himself, if he had used archery during his spar with his teacher that day, perhaps his teacher wouldn’t have been able to use the eighth-tier Flame Dragon! It seems, he’s even stronger than the teacher!
