Ah Dai threw his battle axe to Yan Li, turned around, grabbed Yan Shi by the shoulders and urgently said, "Don’t, Brother Yan Shi, you mustn’t be impulsive!" Moon Scar sighed deeply, let go of the hilt of his sword, walked to Yue Ji, grabbed the longbow from her hands and said to her: "Let it go, lil’ sister." He turned around and coldly said to Yan Shi, "Yan Shi, you’ve struck my sister today, I’ll remember this. Given your recent loss and for Ah Dai’s sake, I won’t count this. Next time though, even if I, Moon Scar, should die, I will seek justice. Let’s go, get in the carriage." After saying that, he pulled the disappointed Yue Ji towards the carriage. Miao Fei and Wan Li glared at Yan Shi before following them. The faint sound of Yue Ji crying could be heard from inside the carriage.
Ah Dai let out a sigh of relief, turned around and said to Yan Shi, "Brother Yan Shi, what happened? I know Sister Yue Ji was wrong, but you shouldn’t have hit her!"
Xuan Yue also came over and whispered, "That’s true! After all, she’s a girl, and in front of so many people, how can she save face? Especially when she is so prideful."
Yan Shi gave a bitter smile, his face gloomy, "I don’t know why I acted impulsively. I’m sorry, Brother Ah Dai... Everyone, get in the carriage. We need to move on." After he finished speaking, he and Yan Li headed towards their own warhorses.
Xuan Yue grasped Ah Dai’s hand and said, "Ah Dai, let’s get in the carriage and go comfort Yue Ji."
Ah Dai scratched his head and said, "Yue Yue, with things as tense as they are, what are we supposed to do in the future? I think it would be better if you, as a girl, tried to comfort Yue Ji. Yan Shi was very harsh with that slap!"

As they spoke, the two of them got into the carriage. Wan Li went to take the reins, Moon Scar sat in the carriage with a stern face, Yue Ji was sobbing in a corner, and Miao Fei was continuously fidgeting with his soft sword. Seeing Ah Dai and Xuan Yue getting into the carriage, Miao Fei angrily said, "Ah Dai, be the judge here, is it right for Yan Shi to hit Yue Ji? You know, Yue Ji is treated like a princess in our Mercenary Corps! Yue Ji, you stop crying, I’ll avenge you now." He said, drawing his soft sword, ready to get out of the carriage.
Moon Scar grabbed Miao Fei and coldly snapped, "Enough, don’t stir up trouble. Sit down."
Ah Dai sighed bitterly, "Brother Moon Scar, Brother Yan Shi is not in a good mood recently, please don’t blame him. When the time is right, I’ll have him give an apology to Sister Yue Ji."
Moon Scar took a labored breath and replied, "His wife’s death has nothing to do with us. Even if he’s upset, he shouldn’t have hit Yue Ji!
