Chapter 1232: Chapter 107 Olivia

The young magician’s typically calm visage finally showed ripples of surprise, and his shock was plainly written on his face, "You’re a Light Magician?" His heart tightened with apprehension. Could it be that this was someone sent by the Holy Church to test our Guild’s strength? The boy looked even younger than himself, yet the magic level he possessed was not weak; he was likely a formidable opponent indeed.

Ah Dai walked to Xuan Yue’s side and said, "Brother, have you forgotten what we are here to do? It’s not good to waste too much time here."

Now that Xuan Yue’s competitive spirit had been aroused, how could he just let it go, "No, big brother, I am just comparing skills with him to see my own strength. It will only take a moment."

Carrying a sense of guilt towards "Xuan Re," Ah Dai did not feel right to force him into anything and could only step to the side, whispering, "Then go easy on him. After all, we are all magicians; let’s not hurt him."

Although Ah Dai’s voice was very low, the young magician skilled in Wind Magic still heard it through the fluctuations of the wind elements. Though his temperament was admirable, Ah Dai’s words still managed to ignite anger within him. Since he had achieved proficiency in magic, he had never been looked down upon this way. Raising the green staff in his hand, he calmly said to Xuan Yue, "Please do as you wish, Wind Magician Olivia at your service. Wind of Freedom, gather before me, merge into the Wind Barrier, defend my honor." A short spell triggered significant changes. The green staff in his hand traced a beautiful arc in the void, and the wind elements stirred rapidly in the air, converging towards Olivia, a faint green light distinctly visible, spinning quickly to form a whirlwind barrier in front of him.

Xuan Yue remained expressionless and spoke coldly, "Light Magician Xuan Re would like to learn from you." A flash of golden light in his eyes, the divine radiance bursting forth, and the clear chant of a spell began, "Heavenly Light, gather before me, power overwhelming, turn light into blade, go forth, the Light Blade imbued with Holy Light." As he chanted the spell, Xuan Yue slowly raised the Angel Wand in his hand, and the light elements in the air were rapidly drawn towards him. The transparent gem on the Angel Wand shone brightly, flickering in the air like a miniature sun. Xuan Yue smiled slightly and said, "Be careful; this is my Level Five Attack Magic, Light Blade." Having said that, he swung the Angel Wand down forcefully, and the gemstone immediately cast a swath of golden light, forming a massive blade that flew out and cleaved towards Olivia’s whirlwind barrier.

A sense of fear welled up in Olivia’s heart; with the sensitivity between the magic elements, he clearly felt his defense could not withstand such a powerful attack. The green staff in his hand swung repeatedly, a green halo appeared in front of him. He quickly recited a spell, and the halo instantly disappeared into the whirlwind barrier, which glowed brightly, just in time to meet the onslaught of the Light Blade.

With a thunderous crash, the Magic Guild hall was filled with intense airflow, shaking violently. If it were not for the very strong Guardian Boundary reinforced here, this blow might have been enough to destroy the building. As the light gradually dimmed, Xuan Yue looked at the magician before him with some surprise. Olivia’s face had turned pale, having retreated five steps from his original position. In front of him on the ground lay a deep gouge. Clearly, his Defense Magic hadn’t completely nullified Xuan Yue’s attack; he had only managed to dodge the aftermath of the Light Blade by relying on his quick movement techniques.

Having undergone a year of Divine Blessings and with the amplification of the Angel Wand, Xuan Yue’s sanctified Light Magic was exceptionally powerful, far surpassing the typical might of a Level Five spell. The display of this strike by Xuan Yue had already exceeded the capabilities of a great mage. Olivia, breathing unevenly, said, "You must be someone from the Holy Church, why come to our Mage Guild to flaunt your power? I admit, I am no match for you. Please leave."

Xuan Yue smiled faintly and replied, "It seems you haven’t used all your strength yet. Isn’t it too early to admit defeat? Let me see your true power." With that, the Angel Wand traced a circle in the air, the golden radiance suddenly intensified around the ring. Xuan Yue’s wrist twirled, and he continued chanting softly, inserting one complex magic symbol after another into the ring. The overwhelming Magical Energy filled the hall, and the Sacred Aura lifted Xuan Yue’s delicate frame, floating her silently in mid-air.

Seeing Xuan Yue like this, Ah Dai was taken aback and hurriedly shouted, "Brother, stop, you’ll destroy this place." He could distinctly feel the might of this magic. Pale green Solid State Energy erupted forth, turning Tian Luo’s net into a soft Energy net that enveloped Xuan Yue, the solid state energy net constricting around the glowing ring, attempting to counteract the magic’s energy. However, the force of Xuan Yue’s Level Seven spell was extraordinary, and ever since the day before, she had felt suppressed. In her confrontation with Olivia, she instinctively employed this Level Seven Attack Magic. Although Ah Dai’s net was formidable and the nemesis of magic, it could only compress the spell, unable to obliterate it.

Olivia, observing the "infighting" between Ah Dai and Xuan Yue, was momentarily stunned. But the energy released by the handsome magician was so terrifying that even his own teachers likely did not possess such strength. In order to preserve himself, he waved the green staff, murmured a few spells, and a surge of green light shone brilliantly. The energy emanating from the staff entirely enveloped his body. With a flicker of green shadow, Olivia instantly created nine copies of himself, arranged in a semicircle, ready to react at any moment.
