Chapter 1053: Chapter 69 Hades Three Forms_2
Cat Woman and Horton exclaimed simultaneously, "The Ultimate Evil—The Sword of Hades."
Ah Dai sneered, "You are only realizing this now?" He did not strike consecutively earlier because, although his rapid four strikes had killed four top experts, to break through the True Qi that protected their bodies, he had to invoke the Evil Aura of the Sword of Hades. The tremendous Evil Power absorbed not only the souls of his enemies but also began to devour his own body. The massive Evil Aura forced him to stop and use his own True Qi to drive out all the evil energy within him. To his surprise, the expelled Evil Aura was absorbed by the Dragon’s Blood. A white radiance sparkled and Ah Dai soon recovered completely.
Horton’s body could not help but sway slightly, and fear instantly filled his being. Although he had the Holy Sword to protect him, the evil breath had nearly broken through his sacred Aura, leaving a chilling sensation throughout his body. Cat Woman fared even worse. Despite her superior skills, the Ultimate Evil Aura was difficult for her to withstand. However, with her quick thinking, upon sensing the Ultimate Evil Aura, she swiftly dodged behind Horton, which saved her from the evil energy, but she too broke out in a cold sweat. The reputation of Hades was indeed formidable; he was known as the foremost assassin in the world, dominating the continent for thirty years without ever failing. His abrupt disappearance six years ago was when the Ultimate Evil, the Sword of Hades, had vanished. Feelings of being unable to resist surged in their hearts as the missing Sword of Hades appeared before them. They knew well that the person they had offended was not merely a Magician capable of summoning dragons but also an assassin wielding the Ultimate Evil Sword of Hades.
"How, how do you possess the Sword of Hades?" Horton asked, his voice trembling.
Ah Dai gave a cold laugh and said, "Are you afraid? It’s too late now. Why the Sword of Hades is in my hands is none of your concern. I’ll tell you, I am the Grim Reaper who ends all evil life. Hades Slash—God—Shock—." It was the first time Ah Dai had used the second technique of the Sword of Hades. His body burst forward, trailing a ghostly blue light, and the numerous top experts surrounding him, upon the appearance of the Sword of Hades, were all barely sustaining themselves against the overwhelming Evil Power. They had no chance nor the possibility to dodge Ah Dai’s dreamlike specter of death.
Ah Dai’s figure, like a blue specter, claimed ten more lives. Under the rampage of the Ultimate Evil Power, the experts plunged into pure panic. Seven or eight of the strongest among them suddenly burst forth, channeling all their power to barely fend off the impact of the evil energy. They swung their weapons and charged at Ah Dai, who had just completed the Nether Slash. They were petrified and knew that unless they attacked now, they wouldn’t be able to withstand another unreleased strike from Ah Dai’s Sword of Hades. They realized it was a desperate attack to save their own lives. As they launched their assault, Cat Woman quickly pulled Horton and darted forward, wisely recognizing that Ah Dai, having delivered one strike, would inevitably need to catch his breath. This provided them the chance to kill him.
Ah Dai knew his weakness, but without the Sword of Hades, he simply couldn’t stand against these top experts. Before coming here, he had sworn to seek revenge for Bing using his own strength. Moreover, he dared not rashly summon the Bone Dragon, as Sheng Xie was still asleep, and without the deterrent of Sheng Xie, he was unsure if the Bone Dragon from the Demon Realm might suddenly betray him. Having used the Nether Slash, an even stronger Evil Power continued to assail his body. The radiance of his Silver Body shone brightly, constantly defending against the attackers. As Ah Dai no longer had time to expel the evil energy within him, he gritted his teeth and once again invoked the Evil Sword on his chest, shouting, "Hades Slash—Decide—." A ghostly blue blade materialized in the sky, with its broad blade casting aggressive and significantly stronger evil energy as it cleaved through the air. At the source of the blue light blade, Ah Dai stood proud like a Demon God. The first seven or eight top experts who attacked were obliterated under this slash. Cat Woman Mimi, realizing the danger as Ah Dai shouted, swiftly pushed Horton, who had leaped into the air with her, and using the recoil, retreated quickly. Horton, pushed forward, accelerated towards Ah Dai’s overwhelmingly dominant blue radiance. He had no time to curse Cat Woman; with all his might, he swung his Holy Sword, and its vast white radiance blocked most of the evil energy. But how could it withstand the Ultimate Evil of the Sword of Hades? With a piercing sound, the Holy Sword was severed by the tail end of the blue radiance. The sudden burst of Sacred Aura failed to stop the eerie glow of the Sword of Hades. Horton felt a coldness throughout his body as strength and his soul crazily surged towards his chest. As his consciousness blurred, on the brink of death, he saw a pair of blood-red eyes—those were Ah Dai’s eyes, and also the eyes of the Grim Reaper.
Ah Dai landed on the ground, gasping continuously. Cat Woman had already fled without a trace. The immense evil energy from the Nether Slash rampaged uncontrollably throughout the City Lord’s Mansion. The other top experts, the guards stationed in the mansion, and the City Lord, critically ill and stripped of his power, along with his attendants, had long lost their souls due to their inability to withstand the invasion of the evil energy. The Sword of Hades bloodbathed the entire mansion, claiming the lives of hundreds there.
