Chapter 68: Extermination Plan
Tang Yin held Xiao Fei in his embrace for a long time, eventually, Xiao Fei stopped weeping. Tang Yin continuously told her it was not her fault to no avail, she felt guilty.
"Since you think you’re so responsible, why don’t you do something for me to make things even?" Tang Yin suggested Xiao Fei’s ears perked up. "I will be completing a very important mission, will you help me complete it?" Tang Yin asked.
"Alright, even if I have to die, I will help Master." Xiao Fei responded resolutely. "No, you are more useful to me alive. If there is any danger to your life, you must retreat instantly." Tang Yin rephrased Xiao Fei’s words. "But..." She hesitated.
"No buts, at the first sign of danger, you must flee." Tang Yin firmly declared. "Alright, I will follow Master’s orders." Xiao Fei obediently complied. "Let’s return to Maple Leaf City." Tang Yin placed Xiao Fei on his crimson hair, the duo returned to Maple Leaf City leisurely.
Tang Yin returned to the inn, he needed to plan a strategy to destroy the Shan family and leave Maple Leaf City within the next few days. Tang Yin had promised Nie Jin an answer on whether he would join the Nie family or not, he intended to answer by destroying the Shan family.
After destroying the Shan family, he would loot their treasury and leave Maple Leaf City.
Now Tang Yin only needed to decide when and how he would attack the Shan family. He knew the structure of the Shan family like the back of his hand, he had been raised there by his father for most of his life.
After contemplating for a moment, Tang Yin decided he would attack the night before his meeting with Nie Jin, this way the Nie family would know exactly who was responsible, and to avoid the same fate they would keep their mouths shut.
The first place he would attack within the Shan family was the outer disciple area, he would use the Heaven Deceiving Art to disguise himself as one of the disciples and assassinate all the members of the Shan family.
The Shan family would not be alerted this way and he would have enough time to kill all the members of the Shan family without being noticed. He would then make his way to the main headquarters of the family, this was where the Elders and Young Masters of the Shan family resided.
There were 6 Elders within the Shan family, they were all in various stages of the Physique Transformation Realm. There would be at least one Young Master who had reached the Physique Transformation Realm as well, the rest of the Young Masters would be weaklings in the Spirit Channelling Realm.
Tang Yin had calculated all of this from his knowledge of the Shan family and the time it had been since the Awakening Ceremony. Tang Yin’s cultivation had risen at a supernatural speed, he had reached the 7th stage of the Physique Transformation Realm. Whereas normal people would still be in the Spirit Channelling Realm in the same time span.
Most of the Elders within the Shan family would most likely still be in the same stage as they had been previously. Advancing even a single stage in the Physique Transformation Realm would and could take from a year up to many years for normal cultivators.
After Tang Yin supposedly kills the Shan family Elders and Young Masters quickly with the help of Xiao Fei, he would head the main mansion of the Patriarch of the Shan family. The Patriarch was at the 9th stage of the Physique Transformation Realm, like the Nie family Patriarch.
He would have an intense fight before swiftly killing and Soul Plundering the Patriarch, he would use the memories of the Patriarch to locate and loot the accumulated wealth of the Shan family.
After the destruction of the Shan family, he would leave Maple Leaf City. Even the City Lord, Mo Jian would be powerless to prevent his escape.
This was Tang Yin’s plan to exterminate the Shan family, he had even considered any unexpected deviations from his plan. The preparations he had to make were in case any of these deviations from the original plan occurred. He would have a method to counterattack and return to the original plan.
Tang Yin sat down on his bed cross-legged, there were still 3 more days before the supposed meeting with Nie Jin, Tang Yin would not attend the meeting but instead commence his plan to exterminate the Shan family.
days passed, and for Tang Yin, this wait was much longer than what 2 normal days would feel like. He guessed he was just feeling eager to get revenge for the injustice conducted on his father by the Shan family.
Tang Yin had already briefed Xiao Fei about his plan, she was very intelligent so it would not be a problem.
Tang Yin got up and left the inn, Xiao Fei flew into the sky and reached the clouds, she hid inside the clouds above the Shan family.
It was nearly night-time, Tang Yin wandered around the city taking in the fresh breeze. This would be the last time he would ever feel the breeze of Maple Leaf City, he wanted to remember this feeling, he wanted to remember his hometown.
Darkness eventually descended, a demonic glint shone in Tang Yin’s eyes. He slowly made his way towards the Shan family’s territory.
