Chapter 376: Bloodline Force

The Flametail Scorpion Mother scrutinized her nest through her Passive Domain as a myriad of thoughts swirled in her mind. She was engaging in profound contemplation regarding her choice.

She meticulously weighed all the benefits and drawbacks of relocating to the Abyss Firmament and remaining in the Enflamed Desert Region.

She was strongly inclined toward migrating to the Abyss Firmament rather than staying in the Enflamed Desert Region. However, her primary concern rested in her trust towards Tang Yin.

Despite having faith and trust in Xiao Fei because of her bloodline, Tang Yin was still a stranger to her, entirely untrustworthy at this point in time. Even with Xiao Fei’s approval and avouchment of Tang Yin, she had merely agreed to meet with him to hear his offer and wasn’t prepared to trust him completely.

Even though she was aware that the Abyss Firmament indeed existed as an independent world, the Flametail Scorpion Mother also understood that, as the world belonged to Tang Yin, he possessed absolute authority within it.

Not only would Tang Yin’s power be augmented within the Abyss Firmament due to its alignment with his will, but she would also find herself largely subject to Tang Yin’s control once she entered.

As a Rank 8 Demonic Beast, she was reluctant to relinquish control over her own life and death to anyone else, especially to a mere human whom she could easily crush with a casual slap.

Even after a whole hour, the Flametail Scorpion Mother hadn’t come to a decision, and this was thinning out Tang Yin’s patience. He quietly transmitted a few thoughts to Xiao Fei.

Xiao Fei cast a knowing smile at Tang Yin and then turned her attention to the Flametail Scorpion Mother. "Sister Scorpion, how about we take a little stroll?" She suggested.

The Flametail Scorpion Mother felt a bit puzzled when she received Xiao Fei’s unexpected request, but she agreed to it anyway. She didn’t fully trust Tang Yin and didn’t want to leave him alone in her nest. However, thanks to her Passive Domain, she could always keep an eye on him, making sure he couldn’t do anything unusual or shady that could bring harm to her nest.

Tang Yin didn’t have any hidden agendas and was perfectly fine with the situation. He continued to sit on the same rock where he had been for the past hour.

The Flametail Scorpion Mother followed Xiao Fei, their conversation veiled in a cloud of secrets. They strolled around for a while, discussing various topics.

After thirty minutes, Xiao Fei and the Flametail Scorpion Mother came back to the initial meeting spot, where Tang Yin was still seated upon the same boulder.

"I’m willing to relocate my nest to your world." The Flametail Scorpion Mother didn’t beat around the bush and quickly expressed her agreement upon returning.

Tang Yin was rendered speechless by the sudden agreement. He shot questioning looks at Xiao Fei, but she just turned away, wearing a mischievous expression.

"Have you carefully thought everything through? Once you enter, you won’t be able to ever leave again unless I allow you to." Tang Yin sought one final confirmation, concealing his scepticism about the Flametail Scorpion Mother’s decision.

"Yes, I’ve thought it through." The Flametail Scorpion Mother nodded in agreement.

"Excellent. Now, gather everything of value and all the items you wish to bring with you. Once you’ve completed this, inform me." Tang Yin provided the Flametail Scorpion Mother with clear instructions.

"Yes, sir." The Flametail Scorpion Mother replied with a respectful expression on her face. She promptly departed to organize her belongings, leaving Tang Yin utterly dumbstruck and even surprising Xiao Fei to some extent.

"Xiao Fei, what did you promise her?!" Tang Yin couldn’t fathom any other explanation for the Flametail Scorpion Mother’s sudden change in attitude towards him and her immediate decision to migrate herself and her nest to the Abyss Firmament. It seemed to him that Xiao Fei might have revealed a valuable secret or offered something so enticing that even a Rank 8 Demonic Beast like the Flametail Scorpion Mother couldn’t resist its allure.

Xiao Fei let out a nervous laugh and replied, "Master, there’s no need to worry. It’s not something significant. I simply offered Sister Scorpion some of my bloodline force."

"You did what?!" Tang Yin erupted in outrage, his expression shifting into one of icy coldness that could chill even the depths of hell.

"Master, please wait, allow me to explain!" Xiao Fei dropped to her knees, urgently preventing Tang Yin from taking any immediate action.

"Before you begin, tell me, have you already given some of your bloodline force to her, or is it just a promise to be fulfilled later?" Tang Yin calmed down slightly, but his face remained cold and filled with rage.

Xiao Fei’s current strength was primarily attributed to her bloodline and giving her bloodline away would significantly weaken her. Losing that power would reduce Xiao Fei to merely his mistress. He couldn’t and wouldn’t sacrifice her abilities for the sake of a mere Rank 8 Demonic Beast.

"I haven’t actually shared my bloodline force with Sister Scorpion yet. It’s just a promise at this point. But please, Master, allow me to explain!" Xiao Fei replied and earnestly pleaded for understanding. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

"Speak." Tang Yin said coldly, unmoved by the tears that had formed in the corner of Xiao Fei’s eyes. Xiao Fei was fully aware of her significance to him, and if she was willing to part with what made her valuable to him, Tang Yin wouldn’t offer her any sympathy.

"Master, I’m not actually giving away my bloodline or my power. I’m simply offering the nourishment and energy within my bloodline. If Sister Scorpion absorbs some of my bloodline force, it will only allow her to harness the energy contained within it to greatly enhance her cultivation."

"Furthermore, my bloodline force can be continuously replenished as long as my bloodline exists within my body. You can envision my bloodline as a Myriad Spirit Milk Source Stone, and the bloodline force I’m sharing as the Myriad Spirit Milk."

"My bloodline force serves a specific purpose when utilized by another Demonic Beast, granting them a significant amount of energy and sustenance, enough to propel them through the barrier or threshold of a stage or realm. Additionally, my bloodline force cannot be shared with cultivators, it’s exclusive to Demonic Beasts."

"I’ve made a promise to Sister Scorpion to provide her with a portion of my bloodline force to help her reach the Mid-tier of Rank 8. Once that’s achieved, my promise will be fulfilled."

"Restoring the lost bloodline force will only require me to use Divine Decay or engage in cultivation for a short period. It’s not as detrimental to me as you might believe, and I won’t be parting with any of my valuable assets."

Xiao Fei hurriedly explained without pausing to catch her breath. She was genuinely frightened of Tang Yin. In all her life, she had never seen him regard her with such anger and icy detachment. This was the first time she had witnessed such intense and cold emotions in him towards her.

"I see..." Tang Yin contemplated Xiao Fei’s explanation and realized that he had jumped to conclusions upon hearing the term ’bloodline force.’ It wasn’t nearly as detrimental to Xiao Fei as he had initially assumed.

In essence, the bloodline force that Xiao Fei could share with other Demonic Beasts was basically the residual and unused energy within her bloodline compressed together. Her bloodline force fundamentally functioned as a replenishable Spirit Stone for Demonic Beasts, which raised another question.

"Wouldn’t you become the target of every Demonic Beast? Won’t they all be tempted to capture you and use you as a living Spirit Stone?" Tang Yin expressed his concern, with most of his earlier anger and coldness dissipating.

"Don’t worry about that, Master. My bloodline force cannot be forcibly absorbed. I must generate it with my own bloodline, and only I can share it since it originates from my own bloodline. So, even if I were consumed by another Demonic Beast, they wouldn’t gain anything from me." Xiao Fei replied with a confident smirk. She had also regained her composure and returned to her normal, mischievous self.

"Also, Master, I’m not a living Spirit Stone." Xiao Fei stated with a playful pout. "Actually, the energy within my bloodline force isn’t directly absorbed by the Demonic Beast I share it with. Instead, it serves to stimulate the Demonic Beast’s innate bloodline, harnessing the momentum generated by that stimulation to propel the Demonic Beast into the next stage or realm."

"Actually, every Demonic Beast possesses a form of bloodline, no matter how weak or diluted it may be. Consequently, all Demonic Beasts also have a potential bloodline force. Nonetheless, for the majority of Demonic Beasts, their bloodlines are too feeble to activate it, primarily due to their low potential and inferior bloodline quality."

"I, on the other hand, am unique. I possess the bloodline of the mighty Eternal Fate Ancient Phoenix. Very few bloodlines can rival mine. Oh, and just to add, if a Demonic Beast already possesses a high-calibre bloodline, even if a powerful Demonic Beast shares their bloodline force with that Demonic Beast, there won’t be any significant benefits." Xiao Fei continued, divulging everything she knew about bloodline forces.

Upon hearing Xiao Fei’s explanation, most of Tang Yin’s concerns faded away. It appeared that Xiao Fei had thoroughly considered everything before disclosing the existence of her bloodline force, and he had been needlessly worried and angry.

Tang Yin wasn’t aware of when Xiao Fei had learned about bloodline forces or when she had discovered her own bloodline force, but he was certain that it had happened fairly recently. Otherwise, Xiao Fei would have informed him earlier.

Tang Yin couldn’t shake off his lingering disappointment that Xiao Fei had promised to share her bloodline force with the Flametail Scorpion Mother without discussing it with him first. "Xiao Fei, even though you have your own confidence, you should have still consulted me beforehand. Maybe we could have negotiated a better deal with the Flametail Scorpion Mother. But, forget it, it’s too late now." He expressed, resigning to the situation.

Xiao Fei lowered her head and replied, "Master, please forgive me. I won’t act recklessly next time and will always seek your guidance in the future first."
