Chapter 362: Leaving the Thousand Blossom Pavilion
"The Divine Oath has been sworn. You have no reason to doubt me now, do you?" Tang Yin inquired. If Xu Yun continued to harbour suspicions, he would simply capture her and confine her within the Abyss Firmament, abandoning his initial plan.
"Yes, I believe you. But where should I bring my parents and Uncle Liang to meet you?" Xu Yun’s smile radiated brightness, but she still required more details.
"Come to Broken Tooth Mountain. I’ll be waiting at the peak. Do you have any other questions?" Tang Yin replied patiently, hoping to ensure Xu Yun had all the necessary information to avoid any mishaps.
After a brief pause, Xu Yun’s eyes brightened, and she asked, "Brother Asura, how did you know that my parents have been encouraging me to gain experience outside of the Thousand Blossom Pavilion?" Her tone carried a hint of scepticism.
"When I placed the Heaven Binding Seal within your soul, I gained access to some of your memories." Tang Yin explained. He didn’t shy away from admitting that he had seen her memories, but he chose not to reveal the exact method he had used to obtain them.
"What!" Xu Yun’s face turned beet red, and she looked at Tang Yin as if all of her secrets had been exposed. "Then... Did you also see... My body?" She asked hesitantly, her face flushed. Her eyes seemed to convey a warning that Tang Yin better answer truthfully.
"I did, so what? It’s just flesh and bones, what’s so embarrassing about that?" Tang Yin dismissed her flustered emotions with a calm nonchalance. While his statement was accurate, it also revealed his indifference towards the matter.
"You bastard!" she exclaimed, her face flushed with embarrassment. However, before she could retrieve a weapon from her storage ring to retaliate, Tang Yin peered into her soul.
Abruptly, an immense pressure enveloped Xu Yun, originating from within her own soul. Her Spirit Qi circulation was instantly severed, leaving her feeling profoundly fatigued and weakened.
"Enough with the childish behaviour. I’ll be waiting at the peak of Broken Tooth Mountain until tomorrow." Tang Yin chided, utilizing the Heaven Binding Seal to prevent Xu Yun from carrying out any impulsive actions.
"If you fail to come to Broken Tooth Mountain by tomorrow, I will activate the seal within your soul." Tang Yin’s warning resounded throughout the hall, reaching Xu Yun’s ears with a stern tone.
Her body trembled with fear, and she sank to her knees, weakened by the pressure. "Such a bully." She murmured under her breath, her emotions a complex blend. Yet, beneath it all, the most intense feeling she experienced was mortification.
Disregarding Xu Yun, Tang Yin left her palace and resumed his previous disguise as Li Caoheng.
He had already spent about an hour in Xu Yun’s residence. That was more than enough time for Xin Shaung to gather several Holy Sons and Daughters within her residence.
Tang Yin swiftly headed to Xin Shaung’s residence. Even before he entered, he sensed the presence of several cultivators within. However, all of them were in the Principle Comprehension Realm.
Without waiting for an invitation, he calmly entered the residence and walked to the main hall. Inside, Xu Yun and the other Holy Sons and Daughters were engaged in conversation.
"Junior Sister Xin, why did you gather all of us here?"
"Yeah, if it weren’t for your invitation, we wouldn’t have taken the time to come here."
"Is there a specific reason for this gathering, Junior Sister Xin?"
"Did something significant occur that prompted you to bring us together?"
In total, there were six individuals present in Xin Shaung’s residence, which included Xin Shaung herself.
Among the six individuals present, two were females, Xin Shaung and Qiu Yinzi. The remaining four were males, each distinguished by their unique and eye-catching appearances. Draped in opulent attire that showcased their elevated status, these men exuded an air of significance. Their handsome features were striking enough to turn heads wherever they went, and their cultivation levels ranged from at least the Mid-stage of the Principle Comprehension Realm, with some even being even more powerful.
"Senior Brothers, please wait. I have gathered you all to—" Xin Shaung began, but her words were cut short as the main hall’s doors swung open with a loud creak.
Then, a single male figure strode out with an air of calm superiority, as if the world itself revolved around him. His presence exuded an aura of mastery as if everything in the world bent to his will. This serene and commanding presence was so contagious that it seemed to soothe anyone who gazed upon him, instantly putting them at ease.
It was obviously Tang Yin, who was currently disguised as Li Caoheng.
"Who might this fellow disciple be?" One of the Holy Sons asked cautiously. The Holy Sons and Qiu Yinzi shared a sense of curiosity, as they hadn’t encountered this person within the Holy Compound before. However, they couldn’t help but sense an overwhelming pressure emanating from him, indicating that he was a force to be reckoned with.
"Me? I’m your new master." With a confident tone, Tang Yin’s eyes, swirling with a golden and blue light, swept across the entire hall, making eye contact with each and every person present except for Xin Shaung.
As he did so, one by one, the Holy Sons and Qiu Yinzi slumped to the floor, unconscious and trapped within the Sun-Moon Great Illusion Art.
"You did well. Although I would’ve preferred more Holy Daughters, you and Qiu Yinzi will do." Tang Yin said to Xin Shaung with a charming smile, as if the task of incapacitating the Holy Sons and Qiu Yinzi was a simple matter.
Xin Shaung’s heart trembled in fear at Tang Yin’s immense power. Just a single glance from him had rendered these high-ranking Holy Sons and Daughters unconscious! The magnitude of power required for such an act was beyond her comprehension. Only now did she truly realise the extent of her Master’s power.
Tang Yin leisurely approached each of the Holy Sons and used Soul Plunder on them, followed by imprinting the Heaven Binding Seal within their souls.
When he reached Qiu Yinzi, he carried out the same actions without any special consideration. It didn’t matter to Tang Yin that they were acquainted in the past or that she was Xu Yun’s closest friend, he treated her like the others.
"I’m now going to send you to a different location. Once you arrive there, listen to someone named Xiao Fei. Her instructions are to be treated as my own." Tang Yin conveyed this final message to Xin Shaung before sending all six of them into the Abyss Firmament.
Tang Yin was aware that he had limited time before the Thousand Blossom Pavilion discovered the absence of six of their Holy Sons and Daughters. He needed to make his exit from the Pavilion before that occurred.
Moreover, he required Xu Yun to convince her parents and Elder Liang to leave the Thousand Blossom Pavilion before they learned about the disappearance of their Holy Sons and Daughters. If this information reached them before their departure, Wan Mei would forbid Xu Yun from leaving, burning a hole into Tang Yin’s place.
Tang Yin’s only option was to rely on Xu Yun’s ability to act swiftly and effectively. He hoped that she would successfully persuade her parents and Elder Liang to leave the Pavilion before news of the missing Holy Sons and Daughters reached them. This was essential to the remainder of his plan’s success.
Tang Yin took precautions by setting up concealment-type Array Formations within Xin Shaung’s residence before departing. These formations would delay the Thousand Blossom Pavilion’s realization of the events that had transpired right under their noses, giving him a valuable head start.
After making sure to take necessary precautions and implement measures that could buy him some time, Tang Yin quickly departed from Xin Shaung’s residence and headed toward the exit of the Holy Compound.
"Have you completed your visits?" Inquired the receptionist stationed at the one-way entrance and exit of the Holy Compound.
"Indeed, I am." Tang Yin replied to the receptionist stationed at the entrance and exit of the Holy Compound, maintaining a calm demeanour.
The receptionist scanned Tang Yin briefly with his divine sense before confirming, "Alright, you can leave." He then opened the gate to allow Tang Yin to exit.
Tang Yin felt a slight annoyance as the receptionist scanned him with his divine sense, but he remained silent and proceeded to exit the Holy Compound. Without the receptionist’s awareness, Tang Yin discreetly released a small amount of Abyss Qi into his body, concealed by his sleeve.
Tang Yin slipped back into the Core Compound unnoticed and made his way to Li Caoheng’s residence. There, he changed back into his Li Rong disguise and left the residence with a cheerful expression, giving the impression that he was content with his visit to his father.
With ease, Tang Yin exited the Core Compound and headed towards the Mission Hall. Once there, he inspected the mission board and selected a task that required him to venture outside of the Pavilion’s confines to complete.
After completing the necessary procedures for accepting the mission at the Mission Hall, Tang Yin proceeded towards the Array Formation enveloping the Thousand Blossom Pavilion. By presenting Li Rong’s disciple token, he gained access to leave the Pavilion as the Array Formation parted to permit his exit.
In a swift and calculated manner, Tang Yin had infiltrated the Thousand Blossom Pavilion, abducted their disciples, and departed, all while remaining undetected.
’Xu Yun, you better hurry. If you fail, I’ll kill you.’ As Tang Yin proceeded towards Broken Tooth Mountain, his eyes gleamed with merciless ruthlessness, a reminder to himself of the consequences that awaited Xu Yun should she fail to meet his expectations.
