Chapter 329: Strange Paradox and Xiao Fei Awakens
4 months silently crept by.
Tang Yin had remained in the exact same position for the past 4 months. He had not budged an inch. He was still at the starting point of the Abyss Layer.

It was finally time for Xiao Fei to finish her evolution and wake up from her lengthy slumber!

As such, the current situation unfolded.
Tang Yin watched on calmly as Xiao Fei finalised and completed her evolution. He knew that she wasn’t in any danger since she had previously informed him of the time of her next Disaster.
As Tang Yin watched Xiao Fei complete her evolution, numerous thoughts stormed through his mind.
These thoughts were mostly compromised of speculations about Xiao Fei’s new abilities that she would obtain after her evolution was complete.

Suddenly, the black and white flames violently surged back towards the 10-kilometre large platform at the centre of the Abyss Firmament.

The power of the Everlasting Heaven and Hell Flames was huge. The current space of the Abyss Firmament was not powerful enough to withstand its violent rampage.
The Everlasting Hell and Heaven Flames wrecked and tore open the void wherever they passed. As the void was torn open, Tang Yin was able to see what lay outside the Abyss Firmament.
An abyssal wind which crackled with red and black lightning lay behind the Abyss Firmament. No matter where the void was torn open from, the black vortex and the lightning sparks always appeared.
’My assumption was correct. The Abyss Firmament is somewhere inside the Heaven Devouring Abyss. Perhaps it’s at the centre of the Heaven Devouring Abyss, the eye of the vortex that actually looks like an abyss.’ Tang Yin looked on with an unexpectedly calm expression as the Abyss Firmament’s space was shredded.
However, Tang Yin merely controlled the Abyss Firmament’s will to regather the scattered Space Principles to condense back the space. Like this, all of the damages were repaired. The price for this was Tang Yin’s exhaustion.
After witnessing the Heaven Devouring Abyss rotate around the Abyss Firmament, Tang Yin took a quick peek inside his body. As usual, the Heaven Devouring Abyss continued to remain stationary inside his soul.
But how did that make sense?
Tang Yin was inside the Abyss Firmament that was inside the Heaven Devouring Abyss. But then, the Heaven Devouring Abyss was also inside Tang Yin’s body. So, how was it possible for the Heaven Devouring Abyss to exist inside and outside his body simultaneously without his knowledge or orders?
Not to mention, Tang Yin’s body and soul were also stationed within the Abyss Firmament which was inside the Heaven Devouring Abyss. As such, this would mean that Tang Yin was also currently located within the Heaven Devouring Abyss. But wait! Wasn’t the Heaven Devouring Abyss inside Tang Yin’s body?
All of this created a confusing paradox.
Tang Yin got a headache thinking about this. He tried to recall the Heaven Devouring Abyss beyond the Abyss Firmament to his body. However, he received no response. It was as if this was not his Heaven Devouring Abyss, but a different Heaven Devouring Abyss.
Tang Yin also summoned the Heaven Devouring Abyss inside his body. Like usual, it obeyed his command and exited his body and displayed itself in the Abyss Firmament.
Tang Yin then continued to perform various actions with the Heaven Devouring Abyss that he usually would be able to do. Similarly, these actions and orders were completed without any issues.
’Is the Heaven Devouring Abyss beyond the Abyss Firmament part of mine or a completely different one? Or maybe it’s not a Heaven Devouring Abyss, but something else?’ Tang Yin was perplexed. No matter how hard he thought, he couldn’t come up with a reason for this strange situation.

Her bosom and derriere, with their natural contours and abundant curves, possessed an irresistible magnetism, capable of arousing an insatiable desire in any man who dared to cast his eyes upon them. Draped in flowing robes of vibrant crimson, and adorned with intricate black embroidery that seemed to dance across the fabric, she was a living embodiment of alluring enchantment.
It did not seem as if Xiao Fei had changed at all. She appeared to have the exact same appearance as before her evolution. It didn’t even look like she had aged. In fact, it even looked like she had become somewhat younger!
Xiao Fei scanned her surroundings curiously, wondering where she was. However, no matter how hard she thought, she couldn’t find out where she was currently located.
She had never seen the burnt wasteland before her, and neither had she ever seen the void where the burnt wasteland was located.
Xiao Fei’s eyes turned vigilant and the flames inside her body stirred, ready to counter any situation.
"Xiao Fei!" However, a familiar voice resounded in her ears a moment later. Xiao Fei’s eyes widened with excitement and longing.
Without hesitation, she whipped her head around to the source of the familiar voice. There stood a handsome youth with crimson hair and an abyssal pair of eyes in the middle of the void.
Tang Yin smiled warmly as he watched Xiao Fei practically reach him in an instant.
But Tang Yin was not shocked as he witnessed Xiao Fei reach him with a speed that only Peak-stage Principle Manipulation Realm cultivators could display.
Xiao Fei’s strength before her evolution was somewhere at the Peak-stage of the Principle Comprehension Realm.
If Xiao Fei’s newfound strength after her evolution was below the Mid-stage of the Principle Manipulation Realm, Tang Yin would have been disappointed.
"Master!" Xiao Fei jumped into Tang Yin’s embrace. Tang Yin returned the favour and took her into his arms.
The duo embraced each other for a good few minutes. Xiao Fei clung onto Tang Yin as if she would lose him if she let go for even a moment.
It was only after Tang Yin let go of Xiao Fei did she also reluctantly leave his embrace.
"How was the evolution?" Although Tang Yin knew the answer, he still wanted to make sure.
"It went smoothly." Xiao Fei responded dryly. "Master, did you miss me?" She suddenly asked with a smug expression.
"Miss you? Of course, I did!" Tang Yin replied with hearty laughter.
Xiao Fei was stunned for a moment. She had expected Tang Yin to say something along the lines of, "Tch, who’d miss you?" She had only imagined Tang Yin’s actual response in her dreams.
