Chapter 276: Successful Act

Naturally, Tang Yin did not care about the Roaming Earth Sovereign or his favours.

He did not need the Roaming Earth Sovereign’s favour to reach the peak of cultivation, he could do it himself.

Even if he somehow miraculously encountered the Roaming Earth Sovereign, he would probably ask for a boatload of resources and material wealth to Devour.

Putting aside the legends of the Roaming Earth Sovereign, Tang Yin focused on the present world.

He spread out his divine sense to its maximum range, 1,200 kilometres. It instantly covered the entire Drifblim Region and 3 other Regions of a similar scale.

After a thorough search, he did not find even a Low-tier Rank 7 Demonic Beast. The strongest Demonic Beast he had discovered was a Peak-tier Rank 6 Demonic Beast. Tang Yin knew why this was the case.

The amount of Qi in these 4 Regions was not enough to attract a Rank 7 Demonic Beast. Only Demonic Beasts who did not want to advance their strength anymore would settle for Regions with low Qi levels.

As for the Peak-tier Rank 6 Demonic Beasts, the Qi levels were just barely sufficient for them. However, the main reason for them residing in such a place was due to the lack of competition for resources and Qi.

Although the Qi levels in the atmosphere were not high, it was good enough considering that there was no competition or danger to inhabiting these Regions.

"Space Warp us 1,000 kilometres to the north-west." Tang Yin commanded Xiao Fei.

The Drifblim Region was located somewhere in the southeast of the Bright Yang Continent. North-west would lead to the centre of the continent.

Obviously, that was not Tang Yin’s goal. He did not want to venture too deep into the Bright Yang Continent, only deep enough to locate Rank 7 Demonic Beasts.

Xiao Fei nodded and transformed into her Demonic Beast form. Tang Yin swiftly hopped onto her back and watched as a black tear opened up in the azure sky.

Xiao Fei had only enlarged to 50 feet. Therefore, the tear in space was not large either, only around 100 feet.

As soon as Xiao Fei felt the tear in space stop widening, she promptly entered it.

Unlike last time, Tang Yin barely felt any pressure descend on him. Sure, it existed, but it was insignificant. He only felt as if he were carrying a small boulder on his shoulders.

The Space Warp only lasted for a few seconds before Tang Yin saw a bright light ahead. Upon further inspection, it was another large tear in space. However, this time it was white.

As soon as Xiao Fei entered the white tear, she appeared in a large bundle of clouds. Tang Yin turned his head back to look at the tear in space, and as expected, it was now black.

’A tear in space appears as a black hole from the outside, and as a bundle of white light from the inside.’ Although this discovery did not do anything, he found it fascinating.

Tang Yin spread out his divine sense again, it was only able to cover 2 Regions this time. One of the Regions was smaller than the other, around 400 kilometres large. The other larger Region was 700 kilometres large.

"Who is this Fellow Cultivator?" An old voice spoke to Tang Yin’s divine sense.

Tang Yin could feel that there was a Mid-stage Principle Manipulation Realm cultivator in the 700-kilometre large Region. As for the other one, the strongest cultivator in it was at the Late-stage of the Principle Comprehension Realm.

Obviously, the old man had been startled by the appearance of another ’Principle Manipulation Realm’ cultivator. Therefore, it was better to gauge this cultivator’s strength before taking further action.

"Fellow Cultivator, I am just passing by. Please don’t take offence." Tang Yin spoke politely.

Although he was confident in defeating this old man in battle, killing him would be rather difficult if he fully focused on escaping. Besides, he would also make an enemy out of multiple Rank 6, a few Rank 7 and a Rank 8 Organization.

"Alright, please make things quick and leave as soon as possible." The old cultivator tried to be polite, but his intentions were clear. He wanted Tang Yin to leave his territory as soon as possible.

Whilst the old man spoke this sentence, Tang Yin had already scanned the entire Region with his divine sense. He found 2 Low-tier and 1 Mid-tier Rank 7 Demonic Beasts.

Only now did Tang Yin realise how difficult it would be to kill Rank 7 Demonic Beasts without any cultivators watching him.

Since Tang Yin had entered the territory of a foreign Rank 6 Organization, the old man in charge would monitor Tang Yin with his divine sense to make sure he did not do anything suspicious.

Normally, watching another cultivator’s movements with one’s divine sense was extremely disrespectful and could create deep enmity between both parties. However, this was the old man’s territory, he had the right to watch Tang Yin as long as he was inside his territory.

Zhu Ren from the Heavenly Bamboo Region had realised that he was weaker than Tang Yin and had therefore followed his requests since Tang Yin did not demand anything extreme.

However, the old man could tell from the strength of Tang Yin’s divine sense that he was a ’Mid-stage Principle Manipulation Realm’ cultivator. They should have equal battle prowess according to normal standards and he did not have anything to fear. The old man could be a bit disrespectful to Tang Yin as long as they were both in his territory and he did not do something that crossed the boundary.

Observing Tang Yin with his divine sense inside his territory was not considered crossing the boundary.

If Tang Yin decided to attack him for merely this reason, he could complain to his superior which would be a Rank 7 Organization and create a world of problems for Tang Yin.

This was the benefit of being a subsidiary of a Rank 7 Organization that was an affiliate of a Rank 8 Organization.

Tang Yin stayed on the spot for 2 seconds without moving. He was racking his brains on how to deal with this situation. He could leave with Xiao Fei without any consequences or obstructions. However, his goal of killing Rank 7 Demonic Beasts would remain unfulfilled.

Within those 2 seconds, Tang Yin came up with a solution to his problem. But it posed a certain risk.

Tang Yin retracted his divine sense. It was a normal action and there was nothing wrong with it.

However, as soon as it reached the point of the Mid-tier Rank 7 Demonic Beast, a Soul Dart flew out like lightning and hit the sleeping Demonic Beast’s Beast Soul.

The Soul Dart was so incredibly quick that the old man did not even seem to notice that a soul-type Martial Skill had just been activated.

Unfortunately, the Soul Dart was a Martial Skill that sacrificed everything for extreme speed, its power was very weak.

To the Mid-tier Rank 7 Demonic Beast, it was equivalent to being stung. But it was exceedingly livid. Not only had this sting dared to attack it, but it had also woken it up from its slumber.

The Mid-tier Rank 7 Demonic Beast focused its perception on its surroundings. It could feel that 2 people were looking at it. However, one of these people’s eyes seemed to be fading.

Without hesitation, it made a decision. It dashed after Tang Yin’s fading divine sense.

Both the old man and Tang Yin were stunned. Why had this Demonic Beast suddenly awoken from its slumber just to chase after Tang Yin’s divine sense?

The old man was perplexed, but he did not do anything. Although the Mid-tier Rank 7 Demonic Beast lived in his territory, it was not under his control. The Demonic Beast’s actions had nothing to do with him as long as it did not go on a killing spree.

Tang Yin also put on a display of shock and bewilderment. However, he quickly ’recovered’ his bearings and commanded Xiao Fei to fly to the neighbouring 400-kilometre large Region.

Once Tang Yin entered the 400-kilometre large Region, he could no longer feel the old man’s divine sense. He smirked, his plan had worked! He was banking on the fact that the old man did not possess a special method to detect something as speedy as the Soul Dart, and his bet had paid off.

Once the Mid-tier Rank 7 Demonic Beast entered the 400-kilometre large Region, Tang Yin took a good look at it for the first time. He recognized it from Tian Huang’s Demonic Beast encyclopaedia inside one of his jade tokens.

It was an Ironclad Armadillo. It was known for its incredible durability and impressive defensive capabilities. It was revered by cultivators for being able to withstand even the most devastating attacks.

The Ironclad Armadillo was a massive creature with a tough, scaly hide that could withstand even the strongest of blows. Its back was covered in a layer of thick, metallic plates that could protect it from all types of attacks. Its sharp claws were capable of tearing through even the most durable of metals.

Despite its defensive capabilities, the Ironclad Armadillo was an exceptional close-range warrior. Its powerful jaws and crushing biteforce could crush anything, and its colossal, lengthy tail could deliver destruction-inducing blows that could flatten mountains. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

The Ironclad Armadillo usually created burrows for itself as a place of residence, sleep and peace. It did not like fighting and violence. As long as one did not provoke it, the Ironclad Armadillo would mind its own business.

However, if one provoked or even attacked the Ironclad Armadillo, it would chase and attack them relentlessly. Even the simplest of provocations were treated with the utmost resentment and hate.
