Chapter 262: Success and Wealth
3 days flowed by in the blink of an eye.
Tang Yin had finished making his preparations in 2 days.
However, he had reached his wit’s end.
The Heaven Devouring Abyss remained stationary without any response no matter how much he called out to it in an attempt to communicate.
The most he had gotten out of the Heaven Devouring Abyss during the past few days was a mixed amount of emotions. The emotions from the Heaven Devouring Abyss were chaotic, he could not understand anything it was trying to convey.
By now, Tang Yin could only hope that the Heaven Devouring Abyss understood his intentions and requirements.
Regarding preparations, Tang Yin had mostly read through various different soul-splitting and soul-fusing techniques to understand how soul splitting and fusing worked.
Other than this, Tang Yin observed his second soul and noted down all the differences between it and his primary soul.
From what he could see, it was almost identical to his primary soul. It was also showing signs of awakening, meaning that he had to Devour it quickly. There was no time left.
With a deep breath, Tang Yin swiftly employed his plan.
The Heaven Devouring Abyss was rotating around his Soul Sea, it swiftly surged into the Soul Sea under his command.
The Heaven Devouring Abyss devoured Tang Yin’s secondary soul under his instructions.
Tang Yin felt no energy or addition to his strength after the Heaven Devouring Abyss devoured his secondary soul. This was a good sign, it meant that the Heaven Devouring Abyss had understood his intentions.
However, Tang Yin was still worried. He was not sure if the Heaven Devouring Abyss knew how to merge his secondary soul back into his primary soul.
Luckily his worries were unfounded.
The next moment, the Heaven Devouring Abyss shrouded his primary soul, but it did not Devour it.
Instead, the Heaven Devouring Abyss directed the soul force and the essence of his secondary soul into his primary soul.
Tang Yin’s primary soul grew slightly larger and became much more vibrant and corporeal than before.
Additionally, Tang Yin felt as if a part of his body had been reattached to him.
It was as if a lost limb had been reattached to his body.
As Tang Yin’s soul reached its peak, its strength also increased swiftly. From the Late-stage of the Principle Comprehension Realm, it jumped straight to the Peak-stage Principle Comprehension Realm. His soul’s strength only stopped increasing when it reached the absolute peak of the Principle Comprehension Realm.
Once all of this happened, the Heaven Devouring Abyss left Tang Yin’s Soul Sea and continued to rotate around it as it had done previously.
Tang Yin’s soul had the exact same appearance as him, except for the part where it was transparent. It was now very vibrant, it could even be considered blinding. It slowly sat down on top of the sea inside the Soul Sea in a lotus position and closed its eyes.
Tang Yin opened his eyes which were brimming with excitement. Everything had gone according to plan, and he had become a complete existence again!
Surprisingly, everything had gone smoothly and according to plan. It was much easier than he had expected, it seemed that he was stressing for nothing.
’As expected of the Heaven Devouring Abyss, it can practically achieve anything and create miracles one after another.’ Tang Yin praised internally. The Heaven Devouring Abyss had always helped him when he had been in dire straits.
Since his soul now had the strength of the peak Principle Comprehension Realm, the power and size of Tang Yin’s divine sense had also increased hugely.
Before he could only cover a radius of 50 kilometres around him with his divine sense. However, this range had now increased to 150 kilometres. This was almost equivalent to three-quarters of the Heavenly Bamboo Region.
Only 2 people in the entire Heavenly Bamboo Region could match the power of his soul and divine sense, the sole Principle Manipulation Realm cultivator and the Peak-stage Principle Comprehension Realm Heavenly Bamboo Region Council Member.
Now that the life-threatening situation was dealt with, Tang Yin turned his focus to his storage ring. It was finally time to sort out his harvest!
The whole reason why Tang Yin had to go through a life-and-death situation with the Head Elder of the Martial Beast Sect was because he wanted to keep his harvests.
If he decided to hand over 30% of his harvest to Grand Elder Shi or even the Head Elder, they would definitely covet his treasures as the sheer amount of resources he had obtained from the Exotic Enclosure Region was ridiculous.
Even if he decided to give 30% of his resources away, he would still be faced with a life-and-death situation to protect his resources and treasures. It was the same thing, but it would only happen a bit later with slightly different circumstances.
Tang Yin sent his divine sense into his storage ring. He instantly obtained the precise number of items and resources inside his storage ring.
This was another ability of divine sense. The divine sense could scan and analyse items for minute details such as authenticity and even see seals, and restrictions on otherwise everyday objects.
Tang Yin did not even need to do anything to use this inherent ability of divine sense, he only needed to focus and pay more attention.
Tang Yin used the same method as last time. He organized everything into separate categories and areas inside his storage ring.
Thanks to his powerful divine sense, it did not take as long as last time. Only around a day and a half.
After sorting everything out, Tang Yin felt satisfied with himself. From his rough estimation, his wealth could almost rival Rank 6 Organizations. However, he was still lacking somewhat.
According to his calculations, he had around a hundred thousand Medicinal Pills. They mostly ranged from Tier 9 to Tier 6. There were also a few Tier 5 and even a Tier 4 Medicinal Pill among the pile. Tang Yin also still possessed the Tier 2 Domain Formation Pill he had obtained from Tian Huang, it was the most valuable Medicinal Pill he currently owned.
The amount of energy contained in these Medicinal Pills was beyond enormous. These Medicinal Pills were sourced from the several tens of Spirit Ascension Realm cultivator’s life savings. They were truly wealthy people.
After the Medicinal Pills were the Artifacts.
There were several tens of thousands of Artifacts ranging from Tier 9 to Tier 5. He even possessed a Tier 4 Artifact. The Tier 3 Holy Saint Brush was also among these Artifacts and the most valuable one he owned. They were obtained from all the Spirit Ascension Realm cultivators he had killed and plundered.
However, the Artifacts weren’t particularly useful to Tang Yin. The only use they served was to either be sold or be devoured by him.
Next were the Demonic Beast corpses. Tang Yin possessed over a hundred thousand of them ranging from Rank 1 to Rank 5. There were also a couple of Rank 6 Demonic Beast corpses among the pile. However, they were all Low-tier Rank 6. He had devoured the only Mid-tier Rank 6 Demonic Beast corpse he possessed to heal his injuries around a week ago.
Tang Yin also did not forget the cultivator corpses he possessed.
He had several tens of Qi Transformation Realm corpses and 40 Spirit Ascension Realm corpses, including Liang Zhu from the Demon Spirit Cavern and the 2 Leaders of the Pink Vapour Clan. He had also obtained around half of his wealth from plundering these people.
Tang Yin felt no remorse for killing and plundering these cultivators. If their deaths could further his own cultivation, he would kill them without hesitation.
Tang Yin had over a hundred thousand Martial Skills. However, most of them were obtained from the memories of all the cultivators he had Soul Plundered. Only a couple thousand of them were written down in jade tokens, scrolls and books.
These Martial Skills were generally worthless to Tang Yin as they mostly consisted of Tier 9 to Tier 5 Martial Skills. There were only a very select few which could interest him.
The same applied to Training Manuals. However, they were not as numerous as the Martial Skills Tang Yin owned. After all, cultivators generally only utilized a single Training Manual. Whereas cultivators could learn as many Martial Skills as they wished.
These Martial Skills and Training Manuals were worthless to Tang Yin, they were not worldly possessions that he could Devour.
Sure, he could Devour the jade tokens, scrolls and books that they were recorded in. But what could that provide him with? Nothing.
He could trade and exchange all of these Martial Skills and Training Manuals for resources and treasures. However, that would require too much effort.
Unless he obtained a chance to do so in the future, Tang Yin would not actively search for ways to sell his Martial Skills and Training Manuals unless he was desperate for resources, which he wasn’t.
