Chapter 244: Myriad Spirit Milk Source Stone

According to the Divine Sword Palace disciple’s memory. Tang Yin had learnt quite a lot of things.

Firstly, a couple of thousands of years ago, a Divine Sword Palace disciple discovered this valley.

They discovered this lake of Myriad Spirit Milk. Not only that, but they had also discovered a Myriad Spirit Milk Source Stone!

The Myriad Spirit Milk Source Stone was an extremely precious treasure which was worth much more than Myriad Spirit Milk.

It could be placed inside a special environment, and over time, it would create Myriad Spirit Milk. It was essentially a goldmine.

Overjoyed, the Divine Sword Palace disciple returned to the Divine Sword Palace and reported their discovery to the Divine Sword Palace Master.

The Divine Sword Palace Master had then given the disciple a Spirit Array Disk.

A Spirit Array Disk was an item which had an inbuilt Array Formation. It could be placed down anywhere once, meaning one did not need a Formation Master to lay down the Array Formation. However, after being laid down, it could not be moved or recollected. The Tier of the Array Formation depicted the Spirit Array Disk’s value.

The Spirit Array Disk which the Divine Sword Palace Master had given the disciple contained the Tier 4 Mist Obstruction Formation. He had ordered the disciple to enter this valley again and place down the Spirit Array Disk to safeguard the Myriad Spirit Milk Source Stone.

Every thousand years when the Exotic Enclosure Region opened, a Divine Sword Palace disciple with great strength would be tasked to come to this valley to harvest the Myriad Spirit Milk produced over the course of a thousand years.

The Divine Sword Palace disciples that harvested the Myriad Spirit Milk every thousand years were given a token. This token allowed them to obtain the recognition of the Tier 4 Mist Obstruction Formation. They could enter the valley to harvest the Myriad Spirit Milk without any impediment.

Over the course of thousands of years, the Divine Sword Palace had created a specific cloaking Artifact which could allow the user to hide their presence from Demonic Beasts. This included Rank 6 Demonic Beasts!

However, it had a fatal flaw. It could not hide the user from cultivators. It was specifically built to hide from Demonic Beasts.

Unfortunately, the Artifact was destroyed under the attack of Tang Yin’s group.

This explained why the Divine Sword Palace disciples were able to enter the Crimson Tree Forest and harvest the Myriad Spirit Milk without much danger.

Of course, that was until Tang Yin showed up. He had ruined the plans of the Divine Sword Palace and even took their Myriad Spirit Milk.

As Tang Yin gazed at the Myriad Spirit Milk Source Stone at the bottom of the lake. He slowly walked towards it, it was only the size of a palm and was shining with a weak white light. This small stone was priceless!

Tang Yin naturally took it. He wasn’t going to leave it here for the Divine Sword Palace. He wasn’t going to Devour it either, that was a waste. Instead, he would sell it for an astronomical price and obtain resources to Devour and further his own cultivation.

Although in the long term, Tang Yin could harvest multiple lakes worth of Myriad Spirit Milk from the Myriad Spirit Milk Source Stone, he could not be bothered to wait that long. He would rather sell it for immediate profits.

Of course, he wasn’t dumb enough to do it with his current strength, he would need to be a Principle Step cultivator at the very minimum to even seek out a buyer.

Once Tang Yin took the Myriad Spirit Milk Source Stone, he searched the valley with his divine sense and the Heaven Piercing Gaze.

Due to the Myriad Spirit Milk, there was an extreme abundance of Spirit Qi in the valley.

In fact, there was so much that Old Ape and the Crimson Feathered Luan were sitting down and taking in as much as they could at the moment.

Tang Yin did not mind their actions, this much Spirit Qi was not even comparable to a single drop of Myriad Spirit Milk.

Tang Yin could see the exact amount of Spirit Qi in the atmosphere. The divine sense of a cultivator could be used to sense invisible spiritual energy, ghosts, spirits, and even stray souls.

It was just a matter of how strong one’s divine sense was to pick up on these otherwise invisible spiritual entities or energies. However, in the case of an overwhelming amount of invisible spiritual energy or entities present, the strength of one’s divine sense did not particularly matter.

Just because Tang Yin did not mind Old Ape and the Crimson Feathered Luan absorbing the Spirit Qi in the valley, he was not going to waste his limited time waiting for them to finish this procedure.

"Old Ape, you have fulfilled your promise, take back your Beast Soul wisp." Tang Yin spoke. The soul inside his Soul Sea beckoned to the Soul Energy. The Soul Energy churned and tumbled, throwing Old Ape’s Beast Soul wisp back to the surface.

Tang Yin utilized his divine sense to drag it out of his Soul Sea. The finger-sized Beast Soul wisp flew back to Old Ape’s body and entered his body, disappearing from view.

Old Ape stood up, he bowed deeply to Tang Yin, "Thank you for returning my freedom. I will never forget your mercy. If you have time in the future, please come back to the Crimson Tree Forest to visit me. I will be sure to welcome you." He was truly grateful from the bottom of his heart. He was the aggressor during their first meeting. If it were another cultivator in Tang Yin’s place, they would have probably killed him off for his corpse and Beast Soul.

Tang Yin nodded. He knew that Old Ape would remain in the valley to continue absorbing the remaining Spirit Qi in the atmosphere.

"Farewell, perhaps we will meet again in the future if fate allows it." Tang Yin spoke mysteriously.

He and Xiao Fei mounted the Crimson Feathered Luan’s back. The Crimson Feathered Luan reluctantly moved to leave the valley. It wanted to stay and absorb the Spirit Qi, this was a rare chance. But upon remembering the Myriad Spirit Milk in its possession, it decided to leave under Xiao Fei’s command.

As the trio reached the Tier 4 Mist Obstruction Formation, Tang Yin brought out the token he had obtained from the Divine Sword Palace disciple.

The mist shrouding the valley parted, revealing a large opening. Just before the Crimson Feathered Luan left the valley, Tang Yin tossed the token back to Old Ape.

The valley was now worthless without the Myriad Spirit Milk Source Stone, Tang Yin would never return to the valley in the future and would thus not need the token.

He gave the token to Old Ape so that he would have a method to leave the valley once he finished absorbing the Spirit Qi in the atmosphere.

Old Ape caught the token and bowed deeply once more to Tang Yin. However, Tang Yin had already left into the distance on the Crimson Feathered Luan.

It had only been around a day and a half since he had entered the Exotic Enclosure Region. There were still 5 days and a half remaining till Tang Yin would be transported out of the Exotic Enclosure Region. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

It was still too early to kill and plunder the other Spirit Ascension Realm cultivators. They would not have many treasures with them at the moment.

Tang Yin brought out the map he had gotten from Elder Sun. All of the explored areas were most likely filled with cultivators who were trying to find treasures.

He then looked towards the unexplored and blank areas on the map. The chances of other cultivators being in these areas were most likely null. It was simply too dangerous for Spirit Ascension Realm cultivators to wander into a territory rife with Rank 6 Demonic Beasts, numerous traps and bizarre dangerous entities.

Thus, Tang Yin contemplated his next course of action. He did not want to waste time, and nor did he want to enter an area filled with cultivators. That only left the unexplored areas prevalent with danger.

Of course, that wasn’t the only option. There were more options such as destroyed ruins, ancient cultivator grottos, mysterious zones, etc.

The dangerous ruins usually tended to be much more dangerous than unexplored area, it was usually littered with traps, hidden mechanisms, strong Demonic Beasts, etc.

Unless one was extremely confident in their strength or possessed something that could allow them to avoid these dangers, most would not enter these ancient ruins.

As for ancient cultivator grottos, most of them had already been explored by the predecessors who had entered the Exotic Enclosure Region many millennia ago.

The ancient cultivator grottos which had not been explored yet were guarded with powerful defences and methods. Most Spirit Ascension Realm cultivators found it too risky to enter these leftover grottos.

It also wasn’t guaranteed to obtain anything from the ancient cultivator grotto, such events had happened in the past. The risk-to-reward ratio was too far apart to attempt to enter the leftover ancient cultivator grottos.

The mysterious zones were one of the most dangerous areas to explore in the Exotic Enclosure Region. There were all sorts of dangerous entities such as ghosts, demons, evil spirits, stray souls etc., present in them. Their power was also off the charts, trying to explore such an area was considered suicidal.

As Tang Yin observed the map, his eyes stuck to one place.
