Chapter 171: Inheriting Tian Huang’s Wealth
"Don’t worry about it for the moment. When you become more powerful in the future, you’re bound to find answers." Tian Huang’s words slightly eased Tang Yin. However, he was still worried deep down.
Tang Yin sent a thought to Xiao Fei and sent her back into the Azure Luan Pouch. Then he waited for Tian Huang’s next course of action.
Tian Huang brought out 3 jade tokens, they were distinctly different from the one Tang Yin had received before. They were white.
"These 2 jade tokens contain a list of skills and techniques which I have accumulated in my entire life. The 3rd jade token contains my knowledge regarding the True Martial World. They now belong to you and any future disciple you wish to pass them on to." Tian Huang tossed the jade tokens to Tang Yin.
He respectfully took them and put them into his storage ring. Reading them in front of Tian Huang would be considered disrespectful. He would read them at a later date when he left the Tides of Chaos.
"Senior, how are you so sure that I will become a powerful cultivator in the future?" Tang Yin asked with doubt. Every time Tian Huang spoke, he always said ’When you become stronger’.
A ghost of a smile appeared on Tian Huang’s lips, he gave Tang Yin a sly look before revealing, "The Heaven Ascension Peak did not really pose many difficulties to you, right?"
"Not only that, but the amount of strength you displayed in the second trial was also not everything you possess."
"Everyone has their secrets, I won’t pry into yours." Tian Huang casually listed what he had observed during the first and second trials without batting an eyelid.
Tang Yin’s expression changed to one of shock and disbelief. ’He knew everything from the beginning.’ Thinking back to how he had believed that his little façade to fool Tian Huang had worked was now ludicrous and embarrassing, he only now realised that Tian Huang knew everything, and all he had done was mere child’s play in his eyes.
The reason why Tian Huang disclosed this now was because he was trying to say, ’You have a lot of potential and talent.’.
Tang Yin bowed, this bow came from the depths of his heart and was genuine respect he had never expressed to anyone other than his father.
Tian Huang nodded his head.
He then spoke, "I do not have many items left. They have either been lost to the river of time or been given out as rewards and serendipities to the previous participants who entered the Tides of Chaos over the course of thousands of years."
Tian Huang waved his arm, 4 ripples appeared in the air. 4 items appeared.
The first item was a light purple pill, it radiated an ethereal aura.
Tian Huang pointed towards it before introducing it to Tang Yin, "This is a Tier 2 Domain Formation Pill. It can to some extent, help you form a domain when you reach that stage in your cultivation." He vaguely explained.
He then pointed towards the second item. It was a golden brush which emitted a holy aura. "This is the Holy Saint Brush. It is a Tier 3 Artifact. Its main purpose is to draw Array Formations and whatnot. You can keep it if you want or give it away, it doesn’t really matter." Tian Huang nonchalantly dismissed an item which could cause a whole region to go to war for it.
The 3rd item was a sparkling white pear, it exuded a fragrance which urged Tang Yin to snatch and eat it right there and then. He swiftly suppressed this urge. But he could not keep his eyes off of it.
"This is the Spirit Soul Fruit. Once eaten, it can allow you to have a much easier time forming a Soul Sea, the strength of the Soul Sea will also be much stronger than normal. It is one of the most sought-after treasures by Spirit Ascension Realm cultivators. Eat it right before you’re about to form a Soul Sea." Tian Huang explained, he then directed the fruit towards Tang Yin who stored it away in his storage ring.
The last item was a robe. The robe was mainly black in colour. It was very long, like normal traditional clothing. It looked like it was made from luxurious and expensive materials. Its outlines and sides were sown with red threads. Overall, it was majestic looking.
"The last item is also an Artifact. It’s called the Heavenly Demon Robe, and it was personally made by me. I made it especially for my successor. It is just like normal clothing, however, it has numerous small, complex and invisible Array Formations engraved on it. Not only that but it was also made from top-quality materials. I spent a lot of time, effort and resources to create it." Tian Huang showered the Heavenly Demon Robe with endless praise. He was truly proud of this specific creation.
"It can also block the full-powered attack of most Qi Transformation Realm cultivators. And it also possesses various other qualities which you will have to figure out yourself." Tian Huang continued praising the Heavenly Demon Robe for a good few minutes. Tang Yin stood there and looked at the robe with shock.
He had never imagined that such a thing could exist. Although most of what Tian Huang described was probably exaggerated, he could not have made it up out of thin air. There was at least some element of truth to his praises.
"Wear it." After finishing his explanation, description and praise, Tian Huang finally handed the Heavenly Demon Robe to Tang Yin.
Tang Yin quickly undressed and wore the Heavenly Demon Robe.
Tian Huang was his master now, there was no need to be ashamed of changing his clothes in front of him. However, even so, Tian Huang turned around and gave Tang Yin his privacy.
