Chapter 134: Tides of Chaos
days passed.
Tang Yin inched closer and closer to Sea Star City. There was still some distance left to cover.
During the journey, Tang Yin made sure to kill and plunder any and all weak islands he came across. After doing this many times, he reached the peak of the 7th stage of the Spirit Vein Condensation Realm.
Today was just an average day where Tang Yin and Xiao Fei were airborne and vigilantly heading towards Sea Star City.
An island appeared ahead, and a cold glint appeared in Tang Yin’s eyes. After determining that there were no powerful entities on the island. He and Xiao Fei made their way towards the island.
Just as Xiao Fei was about to swoop down towards the island, the seemingly calm sea churned furiously all of a sudden. Huge waves, thousands of feet tall boiled, instantly drowning the island Tang Yin was about to massacre.
The huge wave continued to surge towards Tang Yin and Xiao Fei who were 10,000 feet high in the sky.
The duo’s expression changed drastically. With no communication between either of them, Xiao Fei dashed higher into the sky and in the opposite direction of the waves. But they were too slow in the face of the mighty waves.
From afar, it looked as if a huge whirlpool had appeared out of nowhere. The seawater around the whirlpool rose and fell as if there was a constant storm around the whirlpool, there were even occasional flashes of blue lightning. The clouds in the sky gathered to form thick grey clouds which ceaselessly rained heavily, there was an eerie atmosphere in the air.
The pressure around the whirlpool was very dense, any cultivator below the Qi Transformation Realm would be shredded into minced meat before they could even approach the whirlpool.
’Tides of Chaos...’, This was the only thing Tang Yin could think about when he and Xiao Fei were engulfed by the vast whirlpool.
Tang Yin and Xiao Fei did not even get a chance to resist, they were swiftly dragged towards the centre of the whirlpool before vanishing with a flash of blue light.

Due to the sheer size of the whirlpool and the constant dark atmosphere of the area where the whirlpool was present, it did not take long for its appearance to be discovered by the cultivators of the south zone.
The appearance of the whirlpool set off a huge storm of shock in the south zone, and even the west and east zones were in a similar state.
On one of the islands in the south zone, there was a small city. The island and city were not large, it was very average in the Devil Sea Region. In one of the taverns, there were many cultivators sitting down and drinking wine whilst having conversations with each other.
In the corner of the tavern was a small table, there were 2 cultivators sitting around the table and were quietly whispering to each other. One of them was a middle-aged man and the other was an old woman.
"Did you hear a whirlpool appeared in the south zone? It is suspected to be the Tides of Chaos." The old woman whispered to the middle-aged man, she cautiously observed her surroundings, afraid someone was eavesdropping on them.
"What!? The Tides of Chaos!? Are you sure!?" The middle-aged man immediately threw out a string of questions.
"Shut up, do you want the whole world to know what we are talking about?" The old woman quickly rebuked. The middle-aged man immediately quietened down and looked at the old woman with a questioning gaze.
"I don’t know, we are in the east zone. I heard this from a travelling cultivator who came from the south zone. I have heard many cultivators talking about the Tides of Chaos recently, so it should be true."
"As you know, the Tides of Chaos is one of the three calamities of the Devil Sea Region. Anyone below the Qi Transformation Realm cannot even get close to the whirlpool."
"The Tides of Chaos have not appeared in over 5,000 years. To appear all of a sudden is a bit unpredictable. However, this is nothing odd. The Tides of Chaos do not have a pattern to which they appear, they can appear at any time."
The old woman spoke nonstop, the middle-aged man’s expression remained the same, clearly, he was aware of this information.
"Looks like there will be tremendous changes happening soon in the Devil Sea Region. Hopefully, we can withstand the incoming storm." The middle-aged man signed, and the old woman also had a dejected look on her face. The Tides of Chaos seemed to be a really big deal.
Many long arcs of numerous colours charged through the sky of the Devil Sea Region, their destination was the whirlpool which had sucked in Tang Yin and Xiao Fei!
Only Qi Transformation Realm cultivators could fly, this implied that numerous cultivators of such a realm or even higher were heading to the Tides of Chaos.
