Chapter 129: Seperated
Tang Yin had been using the Heaven Piercing Gaze since the golden hawk appeared, he could instantly tell the most damaged part of the birdβs abdomen, it was also this spot he was aiming for with the Abyssal Sword.
As soon as the Abyssal Sword contacted the most sensitive area in the abdomen of the golden hawk, a loud explosion occurred.
With a loud boom, Tang Yin fell back, he plummeted from the sky. Xiao Fei flew after him.
The golden hawk reappeared from the radius of the explosion, its abdomen was torn into a bloody mess. Its internal organs and pieces of mangled flesh were spilling out of its guts.
The golden hawk let out a sharp screech of agony. Red appeared in its eyes along with madness and hate. A bright golden beam of light appeared at the tip of its beak. The bright golden beam of light compressed and rotated for a breath of time before being discharged towards Xiao Fei.
Xiao Fei sensed a strong sense of danger from the bright golden beam of light, she was forced to stop chasing after Tang Yin and take defensive measures to withstand the golden beam of light.
She quickly conjured up layers upon layers of Everlasting Hell Flames to rotate around her body to act as her defence.
Tang Yin continued plummeting towards the sea. With his strong physique, it would not be a problem to land in the sea from such a high altitude. The true danger were the creatures lurking in the sea.
The bright golden beam of light instantly reached Xiao Fei, she did not have enough time to conjure up many layers of protection. The golden beam of light shot through multiple layers of flames, its momentum and power were slowly worn down until it was only a small beam of golden light when it reached Xiao Fei.
Xiao Fei did not have time to place down any more layers of Everlasting Hell Flames as a barrier, she swiftly brandished her talons and met the small golden beam of light head-on.
The sound of a small explosion and metal grating against metal rang out during the collision. The collision between the small golden beam of light and Xiao Fei made it appear as if a bright golden sun had suddenly appeared in the sky.
The golden light did not last for long, it slowly receded and faded out of existence after a few moments. After the golden light disappeared, Xiao Fei reappeared, but the small golden beam of light was nowhere to be seen.
Xiao Fei was not unharmed, her talons were breeding profusely, there were multiple deep cuts and gashes on them.
"Xiao Fei do not let it get away! Donβt worry about me, Iβll be fine." Tang Yin quickly shouted when he saw Xiao Fei appear from the golden light. Then he fell into the sea, monstrous waves surged into the air from the impact. This was to be expected, Tang Yin had fallen from thousands of feet high in the sky.
Xiao Fei hesitated briefly, she decided to believe in Tang Yin. She promptly turned her gaze to the golden hawk. After conjuring and releasing that golden beam of light which presented a problem for Xiao Fei, even injuring her, the golden hawk was left in a pathetic state.
The golden hue on its feathers had lessened noticeably, its feathers were also falling out like its guts. The golden hawk looked shrivelled as if it had aged thousands of years in an instant. However, there was a fierce light in its eyes along with intense hatred. Despite its serious condition, it turned into a golden arc and charged towards Xiao Fei. She did not back down either, she turned into a black arc which dashed towards the incoming golden hawk.
The golden and black arcs intertwined continuously in the air, black flames and golden light were continuously surging and struggling to be dominant over the other during each clash.
Tang Yin had fallen deep in the ocean, the impact of hitting the surface of the sea at such speeds did not injure him much physically due to his tough physique. But it made him feel as if his insides had exploded and he felt heavily nauseous.
Normally this would not be a problem, with time, this feeling would naturally fade. However, he was in the sea of the Devil Sea Region. The dangers lurking inside the sea were numerous and life-threatening even to Qi Transformation Realm cultivators.
Due to the large vibrations, noise and disturbance created during the impact of the fall. Numerous sea beasts were alerted and attracted.
Tang Yin could feel small waves and changes in the ocean, this meant that many creatures were approaching him from all directions. He quickly manifested the Abyssal Sword once more and got ready to fight his first underwater battle.
Cultivators had much stronger bodies compared to mortals, but this did not mean they could last underwater forever. At most they could hold their breath underwater longer than mortals, the precise amount depended on their level of cultivation.
Tang Yin was a 4th stage Spirit Vein Condensation Realm cultivator, he could hold his breath underwater for more than half a day. This did not present an issue to him.
Loud roars and large waves surged from beneath Tang Yin, the first wave of sea beasts had arrived.
