Kong sighed deeply before recounting their story. He followed Wang Wei's orders to try to locate Jiang Ye. With Hongjun's token, they reached an isolated area of Primordial Chaos with nothing in sight. It was obvious to the group that a hidden passage hid there, but they couldn't find it no matter what they tried. Then, as fate would have it, one of the catastrophes Jiang Ye designed to kill the creature of this world lost control, resulting in a massive spatial turbulence that the group swiftly detected and used to enter this dimension.

Sadly, this was as far as their luck went. From the moment they arrived in this place, they faced countless powerful entities and disasters designed to eliminate them. They tried their best to survive them, but their numbers slowly dwindled. Kong deduced that this world should have a center, which led the team to this tower, but the protection was even stricter. Unfortunately, this place was not only where Jiang Ye was but also the only key to leaving.

"I thought they had died from infighting," Wang Wei thought. He had his suspicions about Commander when the latter invited mostly Saints with True Artifacts. However, it appeared the latter didn't have the opportunity to do anything before his untimely death.

"Why are you here? Did something happen outside?" Kong asked.

"I'm here for this prince — he needs to fulfill his destiny."

Emperor Kong frowned, "From what I can tell, he's currently in deep sleep, only acting unconsciously. If you want him to do anything, you must first wake him up, but we've tried that before. Without healing, he won't wake up."

"Don't worry, he'll wake up," Wang Wei uttered before motioning to Maitreya. The real Wang Wei had already told her his plan, and Maitreya's main body began to execute it. If there was one thing Maitreya's Saint Method had granted her, it was a unique mastery of Time Dao, which made her perfect for this task. By usurping power from the River of Time, the Mother Buddha summoned thirteen array cores from the past.

These array cores were the key to Wang Wei's previous plan, which was derailed by all the shenanigans during this expedition. Maitreya did not waste time and immediately began to engrave new runes on the array cores. Meanwhile, Future Reverence's sixth sense began to alarm him of impending doom.

He immediately summoned even more power from the Death Coffin, preparing to end all of this nonsense. However, the duchess refused to be outdone; she immediately sacrificed two of her True Saint Artifacts for another boost of power. Her action worked as she barely stopped the death ambassador, but everybody knew she wasn't going to last long.

"Damn it, how much more time do they need?" the Erudite Duchess thought as Future Reverence blew her only remaining arm into smithereens. His expression remained severe as he released another severe attack; his soul and [Existence] couldn't truly bear the power of the coffin, but he didn't care about any backlash. His only goal was to destroy the enemy in front of him.

Boom!

Future Reverence's terrifying [Death Punch] should have ended this battle for good. However, his years of experience told him something was wrong. And he was right to feel as such. Less than a second later, the duchess appeared in front of him, with no signs that the [Death Punch] had any effects. Future Reverence immediately knew why: the source was the armor around her — an armor he was very familiar with — the Infinite Divine Court's Holy Guardian Array.

Future Reverence wanted to curse Star Manifestation, but now was not the time. However, he knew this wasn't the time. His mind focused on the armor, and he immediately found a flaw. The armor itself was impressive, but most of its power came from its connection to the long-since-destroyed Reverse Black Stone Array.

The duchess had condensed a link to the River of Time, using it as a source of power. Future Reverence immediately used his [authority] to destroy the link, but he failed. The River of Time could be considered the duchess's domain after she spent so much time at its core, using it to condense her Dao Quintessence Prototype. If Future Reverence still had his high percentage of control, he could have forced the issue, but with barely the majority, it wasn't enough.

"All of you are annoying," Future Reverence cursed under his breath. He was done with this entire ordeal, so he plans to sacrifice more of his [Authority] to end this battle once and for all. Unfortunately, he was too late. A dragon roar echoed between Heaven and Earth, followed by a colossal semi-transparent dragon with 13 legs flying out of the River of Time before disappearing into the unknown.

Wang Wei's projection in the light world sighed in relief as a colossal dragon appeared in the room. His plan was close to succeeding. The original objective of the expedition was actually to use slaughter to create a deep karmic bond with the Infinite Divine Court. Then, they would use that karmic link to steal some of the luck of the Infinite Divine Court.

The plan was bold and ambitious, with a high danger-to-reward ratio — especially since they would need to rely on Grand Dao to survive the Highest Sovereign's wrath. However, the Tribunal Lords did not consider him reckless. On the contrary, they agreed to execute it as the rewards were truly tempting.

To revive Jiang Ye, Wang Wei modified the previous plan. With the seal, he did not feel comfortable trying to connect with the Infinite Divine Court's Qi Luck. Instead, he treated the previous Reverse Black Stone Array as a branch of the Infinite Divine Court; he then used this fact or this causality to condense a Qi Luck Dragon.

The dragon entered Jiang Ye's sleeping body, and as expected, he began to levitate while golden light emitted from his body. The Qi Luck Dragon shared the same source as the vessel seed within his body, making it the perfect nutrient for healing the prince and reviving the seed. His aura gradually faded until it disappeared entirely, not because of weakness, but because it had reached the point where no one in the room could sense it. Jiang Ye opened his glowing eyes. Wang Wei's heart skipped a beat, but he tried to remain calm.

"Jiang Ye" looked at everyone present before turning his gaze toward the distance. His vision seemed to contain all time and space, allowing him to experience everything that had occurred during this expedition in a matter of seconds.

"So, that's how it is," Jiang Ye, or the Highest Sovereign, sighed deeply. He took one step, and everybody in this dimension disappeared, returning to the Timeline NP89076H. The Highest Sovereign glanced at the dark and eerie world filled with the power of death, and he couldn't help but sigh a second time. The hidden rules of this timeline have been ruined beyond repair, so even if he wanted to, he couldn't recreate them precisely enough for the Reverse Black Stone Array to be operational. And losing this array would deal a severe blow to the court's operation, especially since finding another timeline with the same condition will not be easy.

The Highest Sovereign controlled his irritation; he had already expected this outcome. His eyes then shifted to detecting the traces of his people. He sighed in relief upon sensing Star Manifestation and Suiji; he frowned upon sensing the others' state. A source of power on par with him had killed them, meaning it was almost impossible to revive them; he could copy or create their [Existence], but it wouldn't be them.

The Highest Sovereign raised his hand, and the Death Coffin flew out of Future Reverence's control, shrinking to the size of a palm. He observed this thing briefly, hoping he could find a way to revive his comrade. However, it was impossible to determine this in such a short period.

"Highest Sovereign, don't think I'm afraid of you. My Lord —"

"Silence," the Highest Sovereign calmly stated, and Future Reverence immediately fell silent. After calmly putting the coffin away, he finally glanced at the person responsible for so much loss. With one look, the Highest Sovereign forcefully searched Future Reverence's mind, soul, body, and [Existence]. His aura suddenly fluctuated for a few seconds.

"This Beyonder is indeed quite powerful," he thought. The information he had acquired was now ideal, but it was better than nothing.

"You!' Future Reverence uttered.

"Purify!" As soon as the sovereign uttered these words, the ambassador of death vanished in a beam of golden light. He had no resistance and couldn't even react; one minute he was there, and the next, the power of light had purified his vile [Existence].

"Is this the power of a Grand Dao Saint?" the Erudite Duchess muttered to herself. Although it was just a vessel, an enemy of Future Reverence's caliber was annihilated with one word. For a moment, the duchess felt despair thinking of the vast difference, but her powerful Dao Heart immediately reignited her hope and ambition.
