Chapter 550: Chapter 550 Xiaoyan’s Destiny

Su Wan’s eyebrows lifted, something she had not anticipated. Her daughter was already close to plants, so perhaps this vine was different from the mutated plants?

Su Wan, "Actually, there is a potion that, if taken early, can quickly eliminate the mutated plants."

"Mommy, don’t hurt Little Purple Wisteria, it’s my Little Tail, it’s not a bad plant!"

The little girl was about to cry out of urgency, clinging to her mother’s hand and pleading, "Please? I finally have a Little Tail, and Little Tail is very well-behaved..."

The tears in her daughter’s eyes were about to melt Su Wan’s heart. She reached out and stroked her daughter’s soft hair, "If it doesn’t hurt Xiaoyan, Mommy definitely won’t hurt it. But if it hurts Xiaoyan, then it must be eliminated, okay?"

Xiaoyan was biting her lip, with her eyes red, looking pitiful.

Su Wan asked her daughter to summon the Purple Wisteria out, and then she felt that the energy of Purple Wisteria actually seemed very similar to Little Mushroom. But that shouldn’t be right, as her daughter’s plant mutation direction should be the Little Mushroom, right?

However, this confusion was probably not clear even to Xiaoyan herself. Su Wan spoke very seriously to that segment of purple vine, "I don’t know why you appeared, but you absolutely cannot harm Xiaoyan, understand?"

"If you hurt Xiaoyan, I won’t let you off the hook."

Purple Wisteria was even more afraid of Gu Jue, but it liked the energy from Su Wan.

However, hearing Su Wan’s serious words, Little Purple Wisteria straightened up too, then bent forcefully to show it definitely wouldn’t hurt Xiaoyan!

It didn’t dare to!

Su Wan found that this Purple Wisteria was very sentient and since there was always surveillance at home, she decided not to give her daughter the potion for now.

Having temporarily confirmed that Purple Wisteria was harmless, Su Wan was ready to take her daughter to find the Virtual Landis City, with Gu Jue accompanying them and black Energy Stones in tow.

The situation went so smoothly that Su Wan felt a bit surprised.

In just over ten minutes, they had arrived at the familiar city. It was uninhabited now and because there was no energy supply, the entire city felt somewhat bleak.

Despite the bleakness, the air and environment were nearly identical to Ancient Earth. Gu Jue asked White Tiger to measure it with specialized equipment, and White Tiger quickly relayed the data.

"The oxygen content in the air, as well as the soil, moisture, and other values here, are slightly lower than Ancient Earth but still within the normal range. If we can sort out the energy support, these values will quickly recover to match those of Ancient Earth."

Su Wan frowned, "But we can’t use the spiritual power of Beastmen as an energy source."

That would be inhumane and, moreover, not a sustainable solution.

She wanted to turn this place into a fruit and vegetable base, not to establish her own little kingdom, which was different from the original City Lord’s vision.

Gu Jue said, "Perhaps we can try using the other energy resources we have. I brought some in my Spatial Button; we can test them."

"Hmm, alright."

The couple was working on solving the energy support issue for the location, while Xiaoyan, having nothing else to do, aimlessly wandered about the place, which felt comfortable to her.

Even though there was no longer any danger here, Su Wan still worried about her daughter and asked Vermilion Bird, with its metallic wings, to stay by Xiaoyan’s side.

The little girl hugged Little Mushroom, toddling around with her little short legs, looking around curiously.

With Vermilion Bird present, the little girl didn’t dare to talk to Brother Little Mushroom, but the voice of Insect God rang in her mind.

"Do you like it here, Xiaoyan?"

The little girl looked around and, finding that Vermilion Bird did not respond, she hummed softly in agreement.

Xiaoyan really liked it here; the plants all grew well—although not yet thriving, it was probably due to insufficient energy. Mom and Dad were working on a solution to this problem.

Insect God knew that Vermilion Bird’s intelligence was very high, so he did not keep talking, quietly accompanying Xiaoyan instead.

Over at Su Wan and Gu Jue’s side, they finally found an energy source capable of sustaining this world’s operations. Though its effects were not as good as the spiritual power of a Beastman, this type of energy was not particularly rare.

Gu Jue immediately said, "Once we leave here, I will have people prepare a large amount of energy. However, Wanwan, have you thought about how to develop this place as a fruit and vegetable base?"

Su Wan said, "Only when Xiaoyan and I use our Spatial Superpowers at the same time can outsiders enter. Under these circumstances, it’s hard to explain too much to others, so I plan to have robots work here in the future."

Perhaps others would be brought in later, but for now, robots would suffice for planting fruits and vegetables.

Moreover, this place still needed to be properly reconditioned.

Gu Jue nodded, "Alright, later you go to the Mecha Research Center. They have a large batch of basic function robots over there, and you can input commands such as planting. Vermilion Bird will coordinate and handle this. Once I’ve sorted out the energy issue, we can bring that batch of robots here. We can also begin the transformation at the same time."

"Okay."

In fact, this place was a paradise on Earth. Su Wan herself liked staying here very much. If there were things in the future that would prevent her from taking care of Xiaoyan and the others, she could let the children come here.

Of course, that would be a matter for later.

After wandering around on her own for a while, Xiaoyan grew even more fond of the place and immediately said upon hearing that her parents wanted to transform it, "Can we keep more trees and plants? I really like them."

Su Wan smiled tenderly, "Of course they will be kept, because this will be a fruit and vegetable base in the future, mainly focused on green plants."

"Mhm!"

The little girl truly had a natural affinity for plants; they actively provided her with spiritual power when she used her superpower.

Su Wan suddenly realized that if this place were to really become a huge fruit and vegetable base in the future, wouldn’t Xiaoyan’s spiritual power be endless here?

Seeing her moment of revelation, Gu Jue spoke, "Wanwan, what’s wrong?"

"I finally understand why this place can only be entered by Xiaoyan and me together. In the end, I am basking in my daughter’s light."

There was a certain predestined fate between Little Mushroom and Xiaoyan.

Gu Jue smiled slightly and put his arm around his wife’s shoulders, "Yes, everyone has their destiny, like us."

Su Wan nodded.

Yes, it seemed many things were destined to happen.

But at this moment, the loving couple did not know that their precious daughter Xiaoyan’s ’destined future’ was not just limited to this.

An hour later, the family of three left the space, and from then on, it became a fruit and vegetable base.

Su Wan and Gu Jue busied themselves with things they needed to do, while Xiaoyan returned to her room and said to Little Mushroom, "Brother Little Mushroom, are you going to leave?"
