Was the porridge too delicious, or... too awful?

In the grand round table meeting room, Ken said excitedly, "Could it be that Gu Zilan and Gu Jue have seen through our plan? But that’s not likely. It’s a fact that the number of Insectoid people in the Universe is indeed growing!"
Just like a few years ago, when Insectoid people suddenly appeared in the Universe, now the numbers that should have been few were multiplying.
What they had noticed, Landis Star couldn’t possibly have missed!
Odlande frowned, "The power of the Insectoid people is surely getting stronger. If this continues and they become powerful, there’s no way they won’t make a move against Landis Star. So, why don’t Gu Zilan and the others care at all?"
Ji Rui had been silent all along, poring over the same data again and again, feeling that there was something off about the people on both sides.
What exactly was off?

After the meeting, Gu Jue returned to his office and asked White Tiger, "How many meetings do we still have today?"
"Three. One with the Mecha Research Center, one with the Royal Star Fleet, and another is..."
