Now That I Think About It...
Where exactly does the line get drawn with these answers?
My gaze, still fixed on my sister’s chest, lingered as I absentmindedly mulled it over.
...I guess I really have been watching almost exclusively MomoBin’s streams.
Time is limited, after all. If I missed a broadcast, I’d catch up with the replays. If a funny clip surfaced, I’d watch it over and over again. As a result, I barely had time for other streamers.
Even when I participated in MomoBin’s chat, most of my responses were just mimicking what others said. Today was the first time I was responding on impulse.
...One wrong word, and the audience will take the red pill and run with it.
Though, in my case, Si-Yoon is cute enough that it’d be a blue pill situation.
Wait, no, that’s not the point here.
How much information is it okay to share with viewers? What’s the limit for appropriate remarks? Where’s the boundary for what’s considered stream-friendly?
“...Oh.”
I suddenly realized I’d been staring at my sister’s chest the entire time. Awkwardly breaking eye contact, I lifted my head.
My gaze met Si-Yoon’s. She was staring at me with a puzzled, slightly uncomfortable expression.
...Not much to go on from just that.
I needed more context to figure out how to proceed.
Shifting my eyes to the monitor, I noticed MomoBin’s avatar displayed a casual, smiling expression.
“...Ah-ha.”
It’s Momo, after all—she can effortlessly control her avatar’s expressions.
This must mean the topic is “okay,” right?
Besides, she hadn’t given me any prior warnings.
If something crosses the line, she’ll probably step in and stop me.
With that reassuring thought, I opened my mouth to speak.

VTuber MomoBin: Chaos Unleashed
As soon as the topic of weaknesses came up, Si-Hyun’s gaze instinctively drifted to her sister’s chest.
...Si-Yoon had been prepared for this.
She had predicted that the topic of her petite figure—a running gag in her streams—would come up. While viewers jokingly teased her about it, hearing it from her sister in real life was a completely different matter. Especially since her sister was, well... more endowed.
Still, she had steeled herself for this moment.
But then—
“Sorry to disappoint, everyone, but a petite chest is a status symbol.”
“But if you want a real weakness,” she said with a sly grin, “it’s that she’s terrible at games.”
The audience eagerly agreed, chiming in through the chat.
“Momo was adorable even when she was little. Like—”
“Stop! Stop! Don’t say embarrassing stuff like that!” Si-Yoon exclaimed, panicking.
“See? That’s the privilege of being family.”
“...Is my sister a broadcasting genius?” Si-Yoon muttered, half in disbelief.
“My sister? Honestly, she’s totally OP. She’s amazing at games, and, well... her chest is big too.”
“I used to handle spicy food just fine.”
“But you can’t anymore, can you?”
“...That’s true.”
Reluctantly, Si-Hyun agreed, her expression softening. The cute reaction sent the chat into a frenzy.
...What’s so cute about this?
All she had admitted to was not being able to eat spicy food anymore. How was that cute? She didn’t feel bad about the comments, but she genuinely didn’t understand them. Tilting her head in confusion, she asked the audience:
“What’s so cute about not being able to eat spicy food?”
“Everyone, please go easy on my sister. I’ll get her to play a co-op game with me next time.”
“...Make it an easy game, okay?”
“Huh? We’ll decide that later.”
“Won’t a hard game be too exhausting? Don’t you think so, everyone?”
“Sis! Aren’t you adapting to streaming a little too fast?!”
“Huh? What do you mean?”
“You were so nervous earlier that you asked if you could back out of the collab! And now you’re casually chatting with the viewers like, ‘Don’t you think so, everyone?’”
“Well, everyone’s so kind.”
These were the same people who loved to roast her whenever they got the chance.
...Though they can be nice when they want to be.
Regardless, her sister had effortlessly taken control of the atmosphere. Shaking her head, Si-Yoon resumed the stream.
“Moving on to the second question! Actually... unnie, why are you holding the cushion on your lap?”
“...Oh? I just like how soft it feels.”
“Do you want a lap blanket instead?”
“That sounds nice. What do you think, everyone? Should we make cushions and lap blankets as merch?”
Each time, the viewers grew more enamored with the guest.
Si-Hyun’s calm demeanor and elegant voice had completely captured their hearts.
And so began the summer of MomoBin’s sister.

After the Stream
Sitting alone on the living room sofa, I stared blankly at the ceiling, still lingering in the afterglow of the stream.

“...That was more fun than I expected.”
At first, the idea of communicating with so many people at once felt overwhelming—a massive burden. But once I actually tried it, I found it surprisingly manageable. It had been an enjoyable experience.
I didn’t plan on becoming a full-time streamer, but maybe appearing as a guest every now and then wouldn’t be so bad. If Si-Yoon brought it up again in the future, I might respond positively.
“Streaming, huh...”
I learned that connecting with a large audience was possible.
As the first semester at the Academy drew to a close, thoughts of my small 15-person lecture lingered in my mind.
There was also the mysterious approach from the American returnee, along with some leaked information that had recently surfaced.
...It seemed like the time had come.
Time to steel my resolve.
I rose slowly and picked up my smartphone.
Composing a message to Section Chief Jang Han-Soo, I explained that I had something important to discuss and asked to meet him in person.
From now on, I wouldn’t let my life be swayed by someone else’s hands.
Every decision would be mine alone.
