Ye Fan encountered Nuwa in the deepest parts of the Milky Way.

What Nuwa said seemed profound, and Ye Fan didn’t wish to argue with her.
Ye Fan said, "What are you saying? I don’t entirely understand."
"You do understand, you’re just pretending to be ignorant. I sent Chang Yi to find you to tell you that if you can follow a set of game rules to accomplish the current matter, you will become one of the ancient cultivators... Ye Fan said, "Since you’re aware of our choices, there’s no need to raise certain matters again. If you want to kill, then do it now, and I’ll resist to the end."
"I don’t want to make him uneasy; that’s why I haven’t killed you. If it were my former self, why would I hesitate to destroy the humans I created?" Nuwa said helplessly. "I’ve been waiting for his support, but now it seems unlikely. He is entirely focused on helping that person."
"Are you talking about Fu Xi?" Ye Fan asked.
"It doesn’t matter who it is anymore. Ye Fan, I brought you here to show you a play, not to destroy you or the beings on Earth. I want you to see what that ancient cosmic disaster is truly about!" Nuwa said.
This answer surprised Ye Fan a lot; he hadn’t expected Nuwa to show him this.
"You may be curious, but all I can say is, if I wanted to kill you, it would probably be after you’ve solved the cosmic disaster problem. I’ve long known who the chosen one by your side is. Actually... I am ostensibly going to kill you and that chosen one, but I’ve been protecting you behind the scenes all along... Don’t disbelieve. If I intended to kill you, would you still be alive?" Nuwa asked.
Ye Fan thought for a moment, then shook his head, "Indeed, if you wanted to kill me, I wouldn’t have the ability to resist, especially not most of the time."
