Chapter 731: Chapter 731 Five Attackers

Ye Qingchen glanced at the men, his thoughts turning to Xiao Xiao, who was sound asleep in the room next door. He snorted coldly, and his figure immediately vanished.

"Damn it! He’s trying to run! Brothers, after him!"

Not wanting to disturb Xiao Xiao’s rest, Ye Qingchen deliberately ran to a distant, open area.

"I advise you not to oppose me," Ye Qingchen kindly advised them. "Otherwise, you won’t even know how you died."

These men’s strengths varied. Some were at the Martial Emperor Realm Third Layer, others at the Fourth, and the most formidable was only at the Martial Emperor Realm Fifth Layer. Ye Qingchen could handle them all with ease.

Hearing his words, they burst out in derisive laughter.

"Is this guy sick in the head? We’re lucky we got here early. Otherwise, this thing would’ve fallen into someone else’s hands."

"Yeah, that’s right! Let’s stop wasting our breath. Get him!"

After laughing, all five of them charged toward Ye Qingchen.

Ye Qingchen chuckled coldly and drew his Longsword.

"My Longsword recognizes no one," he said, his voice frigid as he slashed at one of the men.

The man was highly skilled and nimbly dodged the attack, his movements as fluid as flowing water. But then, he froze. He glanced back at his comrades and saw that one of them had not been quick enough to evade the attack.

"AHH!" A scream tore through the night. The man’s companion was struck in the shoulder by Ye Qingchen’s Longsword, and blood gushed out like a fountain. He collapsed in agony, his face pale as fine beads of sweat formed on his forehead.

Ye Qingchen’s indifferent gaze swept over the fallen man. He didn’t pause his assault; instead, he swung his Longsword even more fiercely at another enemy. The blade let out a shrill whistle as it cut through the air, as if declaring its presence to the world.

The scent of iron and blood filled the battlefield. Moonlight filtered through the leaves, casting mottled shadows on the ground. Ye Qingchen’s eyes were like ice. He stood there, his posture erect and his Longsword’s tip dripping with blood, resembling an immovable, stern sculpture. The low, piercing wind whispered of an approaching storm. Ye Qingchen’s mood was equally grim, but a resolute light shone in his eyes, a testament to his unyielding determination. On this battlefield, the tension between both sides mounted. A battle to the death was about to erupt, and Ye Qingchen stood at its center like a drawn sword—cold, ruthless, his killing edge fully revealed.

These men were too weak; they couldn’t last long against him.

"Damn it! You dare to ambush us?! Shit! Brothers, get him! Let’s show this bastard how strong we really are!"

The four remaining men were incandescent with rage, their eyes burning with a fury that seemed intent on tearing Ye Qingchen limb from limb. They stood shoulder to shoulder, muscles tensed, their aggression threatening to rip the very battlefield apart.

Ye Qingchen laughed coldly. Though the tip of his Longsword dripped with fresh blood, his expression was indifferent and firm, as if everything was under his control. He stared at the four men, his gaze as sharp as a blade, exuding an aura of cold fearlessness.

Unable to tolerate his arrogance any longer, the four men cooperated to launch a deadly offensive. An agile warrior lunged, his twin blades slicing toward Ye Qingchen’s vital points.

Ye Qingchen’s figure flashed, evading the attack with fluid grace. His Longsword danced in a silver arc to meet the twin blades. The clang of metal echoed in the night sky, as mournful as a funeral bell.

The other three attacked simultaneously in perfect coordination—one provided cover, one attacked from the front, and the last circled behind, attempting a fatal blow.

Ye Qingchen responded calmly, his movements agile and his Swordsmanship brutally sharp. He fought like an invincible War God; with each flash of his blade, he completely dismantled their coordinated assault. Every strike carried devastating power, threatening to crush his enemies in an instant.

The deafening clash of steel and the mingling of iron and blood painted a cruel picture. Under the moonlight, Ye Qingchen’s silhouette shimmered.

At that moment, he was like a Killing God, striking fear into all who beheld him.

"Damn it! How is he so strong? Brothers, we have no other choice! Form up!" the leader commanded.

The men quickly moved into position, forming a Killing Formation.

Ye Qingchen snorted. "You think you can trap me? You’re nowhere near capable enough."

He took a single step, moving like lightning, and appeared at the very center of the formation in the blink of an eye. He glanced up at the sky and smiled coldly. "Tonight’s moon is so full..."

His voice was ordinary, yet it sent a chill down their spines. It felt as though something oppressive was bearing down from the heavens, making it difficult to breathe.

The leader’s brow furrowed. "Kill him!" he roared.

In an instant, a silvery-gray Formation materialized and engulfed Ye Qingchen. Black smoke roiled within, hinting at some evil power at work.

Ye Qingchen’s eyes narrowed, a disdainful smirk playing on his lips. Formations? He’d seen plenty of them before.

"Break!" he roared, gripping his Longsword and thrusting it fiercely at the Formation.

BOOM!

The Formation instantly shattered, dissolving into a cloud of black mist.

"You... you actually broke the Formation?!" the leader cried out, his eyes filled with horror as he stared at Ye Qingchen. "No, impossible! How could you have broken the Formation? You’re supposed to be a good-for-nothing!"

His voice was thick with terror. Ye Qingchen’s performance was completely unexpected; he had shattered their meticulously prepared Killing Formation with a single blow.

Ye Qingchen smiled coldly, his eyes narrowing into slits that radiated pure killing intent. "Since you knew I was a good-for-nothing, why did you still provoke me?"

The man gnashed his teeth, wishing he could kill Ye Qingchen on the spot. "What are you so smug about?! Don’t think you’re getting out of this alive!"

A mocking smile curled Ye Qingchen’s lips. His gaze fell upon the man as a butcher might eye a lamb for slaughter—devoid of pity, filled only with cold ruthlessness.

"You say that as if you think I can’t kill you?" Ye Qingchen chuckled, then took a step. His figure flashed like lightning, and he was instantly beside the man.

"Since it has come to this, I’ll tell you the truth! Even if we die, countless others will come after you! Don’t think for a second you’ll have it easy!"

The man’s eyes were bloodshot with rage. He held his breath, and his entire body began to emit an unnatural red glow.
