Chapter 2211: Chapter 2211: I Really Don’t Know Where Your Confidence Comes From
The Ghost Widow couldn’t dodge and had to use her hands to block.
But her strength could never match that of Zhu Shen, who was a True Immortal Mid-Stage.
With a "bang," the Ghost Widow was sent flying dozens of meters, spitting out a mouthful of blood. Her aura weakened to the extreme, and her white slender arm twisted, clearly broken.
Zhu Shen, still furious, charged again.
"Wait!"
Panicking, the Ghost Widow quickly took out a medicine bottle and shouted, "If you take another step, I’ll destroy this antidote!"
Zhu Shen wasn’t poisoned, so he didn’t need the antidote. Clearly, the antidote was for Afeng.
Hearing this, Zhu Shen abruptly stopped and glanced back at the unconscious Afeng, and his anger was now replaced by a hint of worry.
"Give me the antidote!" he demanded in a low voice.
"Let me go, and I’ll give you the antidote. If you don’t, I’ll destroy it and take Afeng with me!" The Ghost Widow’s eyes were resolute.
Zhu Shen glared angrily. After a long pause, he grudgingly nodded.
The Ghost Widow’s eyes darted as she threw the antidote in one direction and then rushed off in another.
Zhu Shen unhesitatingly chased after the antidote, and the Ghost Widow grinned, accelerating and escaping through the black hole.
"He’s loyal and righteous, seems like I saved the right person this time!" Ye Haochuan smirked and also went invisible, following her out of the black hole.
He left the last Medicine Valley for Zhu Shen.
First, Zhu Shen’s True Immortal Mid-Stage cultivation meant that if they did fight, Ye Haochuan might not come out on top. Secondly, Zhu Shen seemed decent enough; there was no need to make an additional enemy.
Of course, the main reason is he had already plundered four out of five Medicine Valleys, leaving one for Zhu Shen was no big deal.
Just as he was about to step back through the black hole, he suddenly heard an angry shout: "Who is it? Who plundered most of the Secret Realm? Who exactly?"
Obviously, Zhu Shen had discovered the devastation at the other Medicine Valleys.
He thought that after dealing with Tyrant Kirin and the Ghost Widow, he could have the Secret Realm all to himself. Now he suddenly realized someone had beaten him to it, snatching away most of the benefits. How could he not be furious?
"Don’t let me find out who you are, or I’ll make sure you die with no burial place!" Zhu Shen’s venomous shout echoed again.
Ye Haochuan staggered and winced.
Damn, I just saved your life, and now you want to kill me. Had I known, I wouldn’t have saved your sorry ass.
Ye Haochuan clearly underestimated how much Zhu Shen valued the Heavenly Secret Mud, thinking a small piece would be enough to satisfy him.
But even so, Ye Haochuan didn’t regret it.
He and Zhu Shen were only brief acquaintances, and leaving Zhu Shen a piece of Heavenly Secret Mud was already generous. If Zhu Shen really wanted a death match, Ye Haochuan would oblige.
Exiting the Secret Realm, the scene outside had changed again.
All those cultivators who had been bystanders were now gone, presumably driven away or killed by Afeng and the Ghost Widow after defeating Tyrant Kirin. The only ones left were some corpses and heavily wounded without companions to claim them, left here to die.
Ye Haochuan had no sympathy and couldn’t be bothered to save them.
However, after taking a few steps, he suddenly stopped, silently observing a person lying in front of him.
"Still not dead, this guy really has a tenacious life!" Ye Haochuan exclaimed, watching the person’s chest still moving.
This person was the middle-aged man who had opened the entrance to the Secret Realm.
After facing a joint attack from many cultivators, he was already unrecognizable, no good skin left on his body, yet he still held on without dying, truly a marvel.
"To find and open the entrance to the Secret Realm, you must be a remarkable person. Dying like this would be a shame. I’ll do you a favor; remember not to act so rashly in the future!" Ye Haochuan muttered, not caring if the middle-aged man could hear him.
Then he took out several Nine Revolutions Reconnection Pills and fed them to the middle-aged man, using Silver Needle and his own Flower Energy to aid the pill’s absorption.
"These Silver Needles are becoming less effective. I need to find an Artifact Refining expert to craft a new set!"
The Silver Needles, like magical treasures, are more effective at higher levels and can be inscribed with unique healing blood patterns during crafting, giving them superb healing capabilities.
Ye Haochuan had long planned to replace his Silver Needles but had been too busy to find the chance.
The Nine Revolutions Reconnection Pill was just a first-grade Mysterious Pill, and though it was Spirit Level, it wasn’t too useful for a True Immortal Expert. Only after more than ten minutes did Ye Haochuan finally stop.
The man’s injuries had stabilized, but he would still need time to recuperate.
"Thank you!" the middle-aged man weakly uttered before quickly closing his eyes to focus on healing.
Ye Haochuan nodded slightly in acknowledgment of the thanks and then got up to leave.
Soon after, his expression changed, and the Halberd of Heaven and Earth swung ominously, creating a whistling wind.
Clang~
A figure was struck by the Halberd of Heaven and Earth and hit the ground heavily.
"To sneakily claim most of the Secret Realm’s Heavenly Secret Mud and herbs, you indeed have some skills!" the figure sneered.
"How did you know it was me?" Ye Haochuan asked with an amused smile.
"Just now, I could have killed that Zhu guy, but a Purple Fire suddenly appeared, ruining my attempt, indicating there was someone else inside. So when I came out, I paid special attention to the other Medicine Valleys..." the figure explained logically.
The figure was undoubtedly the Ghost Widow.
"So, you’ve been waiting at the exit for me?" Ye Haochuan asked curiously.
"Not exactly!"
The Ghost Widow chuckled, "At first, I assumed you were with that Zhu guy and didn’t expect you to come out so soon. It was only when I saw you suddenly appear... On this mountain, half full of wounded or dead, seeing someone unscathed was naturally suspicious, so I decided to test it out, didn’t expect you to admit it easily."
"I see!" Ye Haochuan chuckled bitterly, secretly admiring the Ghost Widow’s attentiveness.
"Your methods are indeed extraordinary, entering the Secret Realm ahead of everyone without anyone knowing. But... I don’t believe you would seal your cultivation..."
The Ghost Widow smirked coldly, "I should thank you. If you hadn’t secured most benefits and sent them out, I might have left empty-handed this time. Heh heh!"
"So what? You’ve claimed everything I have as yours? Where do you get such confidence?" Ye Haochuan sneered.
