When Yu Mingche heard this, his face turned cold and his gaze sharpened. But before he could speak, Huangfu Xinyue, who was standing behind him, erupted.
"Zhang Jingyu, if you’re going to talk like that, then you’re just being ungrateful! I came with you to find her out of respect for our past friendship, not to watch you cause a scene at Ning Xuan’s place."
"The initial treatment is over. Your sister’s meridians were successfully unblocked thanks to Ning Xuan’s treatment, allowing her to cultivate. It’s been so long since then. "Governor Yu, we apologize for the disturbance. We’ll be leaving now." Huangfu Xinyue pulled on Shen Wenwen’s arm and shot a look at the others, signaling for them to leave quickly.
Shen Wenwen wasn’t actually very familiar with these young ladies and didn’t understand anything about the treatment issue they were discussing. She had simply run into them by chance on her way to find Ning Xuan.
"No one is leaving! Your families have sisters who received Ning Xuan’s acupuncture treatment too, right? Aren’t you afraid the same thing will happen to them as it did to my sister? I’ve come to her door dozens of times over the past three months, and every time they say she’s in seclusion. What kind of seclusion takes this long? Actually, when Yan Fuzhen had said Ning Xuan was in seclusion, she had planned to leave. But Zhang Jingyu had grabbed them, begging them pitifully not to go and to help her. The Hua Family and the Zhang Family were related by marriage. She knew the Zhang Family placed great importance on Zhang Jingyu’s sister and wanted to see her get better. "When she comes out of seclusion, I will tell her exactly what happened today. You can rest assured, Miss Huangfu," Yu Mingche replied with a pleasant nod.
