Chapter 474: Our God Has Descended
Instincts kicking in, the triplets moved. Treasure grabbed her hand, stunning Jinx, then quickly grabbed Precious’s arm with her other hand. Destiny firmly grabbed Nammu’s and Casey’s wrists; no matter what apocalyptic threat stood before them, the Water Beast was their designated mission, and the kids had absolutely no plans of failing. Meanwhile, Lucian simply yawned, unfazed by the descending sphere of annihilation, and casually held Regina’s hand.
The moment the dark attack reached them, the spatial laws of the Mother’s blessing activated. The eight vanished from the world in a flash of green light, leaving nothing but empty air just as the attack smashed right into the ground.
BOOOOOOOOM!!!
A huge, bottomless pit appeared on the exact spot the eight had previously stood, the sheer scale of the destruction stunning the Blood Moon Goddess into terrified silence.
"Oh, seems the Realm Ruler of Earth interfere." He said in surprise, withdrawing his hand. His tone carried a mix of annoyance and genuine intrigue at the long-distance spatial manipulation.
"Realm Ruler of Earth? What is that?" Blood Moon Goddess asked in confusion, still kneeling in the dirt.
Togas glared down at her, his crimson eyes flashing with lethal intent. "You aren’t allowed to ask me any question, remember! You’re my slave!" He snapped at her, his voice echoing like thunder.
"Yes! I understand." She answered, immediately lowering her gaze to the scorched earth.
Behind her veil of submission, however, her eyes burned with dark, venomous hatred. ’You bastard!! After a century, I will leave you. Once I get stronger, I will come back and kill you myself.’ She thought, her ambition wounded but far from dead.
___
[The Center of the Array — Back To Ellen]
Far across the multiversal divide, within the sanctuary of the world, the air hummed with dense, vibrating Primordial energy.
"Finally!! I just have to set the last key." Ellen said, her brow coated in a thin layer of sweat. She stood before the colossal, glowing roots of the golden Yggdrasil tree, raising her palm high as she channeled the last fragment of her spiritual energy into the grand design.
BOOOOM!
At that exact, miraculous moment, the fabric of space tore open above the runic circle. Jinx, Destiny, Treasure, Lucian, Casey, Regina, Precious, and Nammu flew out from the golden Yggdrasil before her, falling unceremoniously onto the hard ground in a tangle of limbs.
"Huh?" Ellen was completely stunned, blinking at the sudden, chaotic arrival of her siblings and the King’s elites. But her discipline held firm; she didn’t hesitate, and still smashed her palm directly onto the huge, intricate formation etched into the ground.
BOOOOM!!!!
The array activated with a deafening roar. The eight new arrivals quickly scrambled to their feet and turned around, staring in awe at the massive golden tree, which started vibrating, its leaves glowing like miniature suns as it prepared to receive the incoming planetary energy.
___
[The North Node.]
In the freezing, desolate tundra of the North. Elara, Gabby, Cobra, and Violet felt the massive energy signature erupting from the center. They stood before an ancient, towering monolith. They all channeled all their pure Primordial energies to their palms, taking a synchronized breath, and smashed it right into the frozen ground.
BOOOOM!!
The massive stone statue outside the city vibrated violently, shedding centuries of frost, as a concentrated beam of golden energy shot out from its apex, tearing through the clouds and flying straight towards the center region.
"Cough!" Violet suddenly lurched forward, coughing up a mouthful of dark, boiling blood, the sheer strain of the primordial draw tearing at her draconic veins, shocking Elara, Gabby, and Cobra.
"What happened?"
"Are you okay?!"
Gabby and Cobra yelled, abandoning their stances and rushing towards the injured dragoness in a panic.
"Yes. I am alright." She raised a trembling hand to wave them off. She wiped the blood off her lips, her eyes blazing with an unyielding, fanatic fervor as she turned towards the glowing statue. "I can’t wait for the god to descend." She said.
___
[The South Node.]
High above the southern metropolis, the winds howled around towering architectural marvels.
"Seems the others have started." Perran said calmly, his eyes reflecting the distant, golden streaks crossing the vest sky. He floated effortlessly in the air and casually pointed one single finger at the ancient pillars surrounding him, sending his vast, overwhelming energy directly into the stone.
BOOOOM!!
The statue vibrated for a brief moment, unable to resist his absolute authority, and shot out a massive torrent of golden energy, which also flew towards the center region.
Below him, Agora stood on the edge of a tall building, her arms firmly crossed, staring up at Perran who was hovering in the sky with the towers.
"This guy is already a True God, he doesn’t even need me to join him in activating the statue." She muttered to herself, feeling a mix of awe and slight redundancy in the face of his monstrous cultivation level. Her gaze softened slightly as she analyzed his motives.
"I wonder why he only has eyes on Ellen... Past enemies becoming allies, I am still surprised how things have turned out."
__
[The East Node.]
The eastern horizon was painted in grotesque colors. Harrison stood perfectly still on the surface of the sea, which was now dyed a thick, sickening blood-red from the thousands of monster corpses floating around them. The smell of death was overpowering, but their focus remained absolute.
"It’s Time." He said, his voice cutting through the crashing waves, turning his head to Olivia.
"Yes, I know."
Without another word, the two battle-hardened warriors flew towards the ancient Pillars. They activated their Primordial energies, their auras flaring brilliantly against the grim backdrop, sending it all into the deep waters.
BOOOOM!!
The ancient statue, now located deep under the sea, trembled violently. The ocean erupted as a blinding golden light shot forth from the depths, parting the bloody waters and flying towards the Central of the region to link with the Yggdrasil.
"We welcome our God!!" The two yelled in unison, their voices reverberating all over the sea.
