Carter took out his new golden pocket watch. It was counting down to something.

Carter didn’t know what it meant. But he knew that it was related to Charles and his adopted daughter. He knew for sure that they were in danger and the pocket watch told him exactly how long he had left.

Carter turned into a red shooting star and split the air. The Eldritch Knight was even more powerful than before, all because he received more prayers and faith from Hexilia and Shingo. He could easily endure fifty times Adrenaline.
In Bewingham, Charles’s face was covered in blood. He breathed heavily.
He had a gun and a sword in each of his hands. In front of him was a group of naked woman. Their skins were as pale as a vampire, but they were no vampire.
Instead, they had black veins all around their body and even black sludge moving on their skins.
Florence was already knocked out and lay behind Charles. Peter’s right arm was bloody and couldn’t be used anymore, still he hung onto his sword like a lifeline.
"What do you want to do with her?" Charles shouted.
"The Dark Witch has reincarnated. It is time for her to return to the Coven."
A witch opened her mouth wide. Her tongue darted out like a snake.
"I don’t think we’re going to get out of here alive, Master Desilet." Peter breathed heavily.
"Then we die together."
The witches rushed at Charles. He fired his revolver. It was the new gun exported from New Era.
Six shots counted. As they were able to completely neutralize a witch. However, there were still six more.
Charles sliced at a witch, only for her to dodge the attack and plunged her nails into his stomach.
"Damn it!"
Peter had also fallen as another witch bash his head to the ground.
Charles looked over to the helpless Florence as she was being picked up by the witches.
"No!" He reached his hand over.
Suddenly, a shadow jumped off from the ground. It was a tiger.
The shadow tiger bit into the neck of a witch and killed her right off.
Florence fell to the ground. The white coat appeared. Dr. Victor Frankenstein caught her before she touched the ground.
"You look like you may need some help, Charles." Carter smiled.
"Hugo..." Charles was relieved. He climbed back up on his feet.
The shadow tiger jumped at the other witch, pushing her away from Peter.
Luckily, the loyal butler survived with only a concussion to his head.
The witches stood together. "You... Shadow Manipulation. You’re a male witch?"
"I am no witch." Carter gave Florence to Charles then faced the witches. "But I am capable of killing witches."
