The massive steam cloud moved to the skies and eventually was absorbed by the clouds above… the storm and wind dragons were being slaughtered on the ground so that they couldn’t control the storms anymore.
With that in mind, Seadrei was able to control those clouds and make a downpour happen before the meteor dragons could move… he had no idea for how long the meteor dragons would power up themselves, so he had to hurry.
Despite that, the sunlight began to destroy even the clouds… Seadrei moved them out of the range of the area where the meteor dragons had opened a hole in the atmosphere, but he could only do so much out of the ocean. Fortunately, while they could do something insane, the meteor dragons couldn’t make all of the atmosphere just vanish.
The hole that they created was only a couple of kilometers wide and long, and they couldn’t move it while their spell was active.
Eventually, the spell ended, and the hole in the atmosphere vanished… the meteor dragons began to move again, and each of their step created a pond of lava in their way. Their bodies now looked like mini suns, completely enveloped in red and orange flames.
The golem dragons and the volcan dragons followed the meteor dragons from behind keeping a safe distance, even though their bodies were also emitting a lot of steam…
Upon realizing that even their allies were suffering damage just from being closer to the dragons, the humans hesitated… still, another force finally arrived on the battlefield… Artisia brought with her the sea dragon and all the sea warriors that decided to stay behind and fight as well.
Seadir leading the sea warriors raised his spear and made massive amounts of water appear on the left side of the battlefield and move toward the monsters… it was a tsunami on land that was fifty meters tall and several kilometers wide. Despite that, it couldn’t engulf not even a single dragon.
On the other side, Artisia controlled her sea dragon and made a smaller amount of water go forth as well… any help would do it, but eventually, the land began to tremble and then another tsunami coming from her direction came forth as well.
When she looked to the side, following the tsunami, she saw the ground being ripped apart… before long, the silhouettes of the sea monsters that Seadrei controlled arrived on the battlefield.
Two massive tsunamis hit the meteor dragons at full power, but most of the water evaporated before truly hitting them. Seadrei clicked his tongue when he realized that the dragons weren’t losing even a bit of power. It was only natural… they absorbed energy almost directly from the sun… even a small fraction of its power was something that a single living being couldn’t produce.
Dark clouds spread more and more on the battlefield, and it looked like night had arrived several hours earlier there… despite that, the warriors began to sweat bullets, and the people on the wall barely could keep their eyes looking at the meteor dragons.
The storm and six-winged dragons began to writhe in agony as their bodies began to burn… at that point in time, even Seadrei was forced to retreat to the walls, only to see Rain absorbing the blood of the fallen dragons in his ring… or several of them.
"... What is he doing?" Seadrei frowned. Continue your adventure at freewebnovel
"Using all the cards that he has," Seara replied.
When Rain finally heard the sound of the ring cracking, he decided to make his move. The ring had too much blood and probably reached the limits of power that an evolved dragon could show. Still, he didn’t realize that the ring absorbed the blood of storm dragons and six-winged dragons. So, when he used the ring, something insane happened.
Rain pointed the ring to control all the energy in the dark clouds to make a thunderstorm rain over the meteor dragons… lightning bolts were mostly pure and raw energy in the form of heat, while that wouldn’t kill the meteor dragons, but at least it would paralyze them. However…
The sky crackled with energy, and dozens of lightning bolts materialized from the heavens, their targets locked onto a solitary Meteor Dragon. The bolts descended with swift precision, each one a searing messenger of fury aimed directly at the creature.
Rain’s manipulation of the attack required minimal mana, yet the sheer intensity and volume of the bolts would have depleted his reserves if not for his focus on controlling the mana within the clouds. Despite his adept management, the assault exhausted his stored energy, leaving him momentarily drained.
The lightning strikes were unrelenting, tearing through the sky and converging on the single target below. With each strike, the meteor dragon bore the brunt of the onslaught, its form battered and rent apart as the bolts violently ripped through its body. The creature writhed and convulsed amidst the unforgiving barrage, ultimately succumbing to the devastating power of the lightning bolts.

At the same time, the ring was destroyed… it seemed that Rain used too much power. It was only obvious since he didn’t expect that such a thing would happen. In any case, at least his actions made all the dragons stop for a moment, and he had the chance to grab and drink a potion that Terra threw at him.
"Now what?" Rain wondered.
Something unexpected happened, but Rain and everyone else were still at a disadvantage… they had to find a way to capitalize on the shock of the dragons.
