Chapter 615: Chapter 504: Kashigyakya’s Gift of Love, the Advent of Burning Ash! (8000-Word Mega Chapter)_4

But at this moment, a soft call arose.

"Lakshmi! My beloved!"

"Stop!"

Vishnu called out gently.

Upon hearing this, Goddess Lakshmi suddenly turned her head and saw the kind-faced Vishnu, whose countenance was gentle as a flower, warmth mixed with a hint of tenderness.

"My lord!"

"Why?"

Goddess Lakshmi asked.

Vishnu’s eyes were fixed intently on his wife, revealing a gentle smile, and said, "This is the choice of those two children; they just couldn’t wait to marry Kashigyakya in their next life."

"This is their blessing and happiness!"

"When they awaken in the next life, they will remember us!"

Vishnu smiled faintly.

Goddess Lakshmi’s lips pressed together slightly, a hint of grievance in her demeanor.

"I’ve finally become a mother, but the children keep leaving one after another."

Lakshmi lamented, lowering her head.

The daughters she had hardly gained were born to practice asceticism, and after they achieved Asceticism Perfection, she hadn’t even seen them once before they immolated themselves.

She felt as if she had been a mother in name only!

Vishnu stepped forward slowly, gently raising his hand to caress Lakshmi’s cheek, a smile appearing on his face.

"Fortune! My beloved!"

"There will be children!"

Vishnu consoled Lakshmi with a smile.

"Really?"

Lakshmi lifted her head, asking with joy.

"Of course!"

Vishnu nodded with a smile.

There would be children!

Even if they were not meant for Lakshmi to bear, they were still to call Lakshmi "mother".

At this moment, Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi exchanged glances, their eyes like rippling water, radiating captivating brilliance.

Kashigyakya stood somewhat awkwardly in place.

What should he do!

Should he leave?

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

As Kashigyakya hesitated, another streak of golden light tore through the darkness, flying from the far reaches of the Ocean of Milk and descending as a pillar of light, coalescing into the numerous figures of the Devas.

"Praise Narayana! Praise Lakshmi!"

"Praise Narayana! Praise Lakshmi!"

"Praise Narayana! Praise Lakshmi!"

...

The Devas pressed their hands together in adoration, praising the Supreme Lord and Lady Master.

Then they all looked up together, shifting their gaze, they saw Kashigyakya on the peacock not far away.

"Kashigyakya?"

"What are you doing here, have you finished giving your blessing and come to wait for us?"

"Is your mount that fast?"

The many Devas took a couple of steps, exchanged glances, and could not help but show puzzled expressions.

How odd!

Why was Kashigyakya still here? And the atmosphere around seemed a bit strange!

Sun God Surya shook his head.

The matter of utmost urgency is to seek the help of Goddess Lakshmi; this is more important!

Surya stood with a devout expression, a halo of revolving light shining from behind him, illuminating all directions. He seriously approached Goddess Lakshmi and then lifted his arms high, palms pressed together in prayer.

"Lady Master!"

"Now that Goddess Yeshetuo stands in the Heavenly Realm before us, preventing us from summoning the Heavenly Emperor, the Heavenly Realm needs your help!"

"Please help us!"

Sun God Surya, shaking his head, spoke loudly.

At this moment, Goddess Lakshmi suddenly raised her head, her beautiful eyes turned upside down in a gaze, fixating on Sun God Surya before her.

"You want me to confront my sister!" 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Goddess Lakshmi exclaimed angrily.

Her voice suddenly rose, like the Mysterious Wheel of Sight slashing upon Vighna, the sharp sound resonating ceaselessly, causing the surrounding Devas to be momentarily stunned.

"!!!"

Sun God Surya was stunned on the spot.

Today, Goddess Lakshmi seemed quite displeased!

"Are you asking me to confront my sister?"

"I, I..."

"Speak up!"

Goddess Lakshmi questioned fiercely with furrowed brows.

Just today, she had lost her daughters, and now the Devas came asking her to confront her sister—it was too much!

If it weren’t for her husband’s sake, she would have even considered cursing Sun God!

"I..."

Sun God Surya stuttered, at a loss for words.

Alright then!

He could confirm it now.

The Goddess of Fortune was exceptionally irritable today!

Vishnu’s gaze slightly hardened.

His eyes sweeping over the many Devas and then turning towards Goddess Lakshmi, he said, "Lakshmi, calm your anger. The departure of our daughters also signifies a new beginning, signaling the start of a new Lila!"

He raised his hand to gently stroke Goddess Lakshmi’s hair, comforting his wife.

Vishnu’s gaze then turned back to the Devas.

"This matter requires your own efforts!"

"The triple city can only be destroyed by Mahadeva when aligned in a straight line!"

Vishnu spoke softly.

Having said this, he again looked towards Kashigyakya, smiling, "Kashigyakya, do not worry too much. Go and do what you think is right. Everything lies within karma and Lila!"

Whoosh!

His surroundings radiated endless golden light, as if encompassing everything, and instantly enveloped the two of them.

The next moment, Vishnu and his consort faded from the view of the gods.

"!!!"

Sun God Surya stood there, dumbfounded.

He was somewhat unable to comprehend the meaning of the Supreme Lord’s words just now.

"The departure of our daughters?"

"What does that mean? What on earth has happened."

Surya murmured to himself.

The Devas were all similarly confused, utterly unclear about the meaning behind it, and even unaware of why the Lady Master was so angry.

At that moment, Kashigyakya seemed to ponder; he seemed to have grasped the reason!

"Were those two young girls, the children of my uncle and aunt?"

"Everything lies within karma?"
