Chapter 553: Chapter 475: It’s Your Time to Die, Seven-Part Marut! (Vote for monthly tickets!)_2

His left hand, embodying the Vajra Body, instantly took over the position, while his right hand relaxed, as if transferring the weight of a beam to a different pillar, and his body abruptly sidestepped.

At that moment, the Vajra Pestle was propped up against a corner of the earth.

Smack smack!

Indra clapped his hands lightly, dusting off the non-existent dust, and strode towards Sindura.

At that moment, a rainbow-like brilliance emanated from his body.

Maya’s Power surged!

Twinkling with multi-colored splendor, it transformed into a strange, giant bridge, instantly gathering beneath his feet.

Whoosh!

At that moment, Indra’s shape finally materialized.

"What!"

Sindura’s vision blurred, suddenly immersed in an endless spectrum of colors.

He opened his eyes wide, focused, and looked.

In an instant, Sindura saw the Asuras around him, which resembled small statues, and the pile of molten slag and char beneath his feet.

"!!!"

"Maya!"

Sindura was filled with shock and horror.

Maya!

He had fallen for Maya again!

Sindura abruptly raised his head, only to see a towering and majestic figure.

Rustle!

The figure, with rainbows underfoot and a large red cape fluttering behind him, rustled as it swayed, while azure lightning streaked through it like ripples, finally converging upon the giant axe in his hand.

The god was none other than Indra!

The axe was the Divine Cleaver!

"Indra!"

Sindura was stunned deep inside, involuntarily retreating two steps.

He glanced around at the surroundings, and suddenly it all made sense.

"So you had arrived here early!"

"You were waiting for me!"

Sindura said solemnly.

The next moment, he gritted his teeth, steadied his stance, and fixed his gaze on Indra before him.

"It seems you weren’t satisfied with our last battle!"

"Are you here to challenge me now?"

Sindura clenched his fists tightly, his voice cold.

Indra’s eyes swept lightly over him.

His gaze was calm as he surveyed Sindura up and down before raising his left hand, pointing directly at Sindura before him.

"No!"

"I’m not here to challenge you. I’m here to kill you!"

"You imprisoned the Devas, unleashed soldiers to kill and burn in the Mortal Realm, tearing apart a corner of the earth!"

"And now you even dare to come here!"

"You’re seeking your own death!"

Indra declared.

If it were just an ordinary Asura, sparing his life was not impossible, but the danger caused by this Sindura was too great.

He must be killed!

As his words ended, Indra swung the Divine Axe in his hand.

Whoosh!

A piercing glint of the axe blade instantly broke through the air, tearing open the space with a ripping sound.

Sindura’s eyes sharpened.

His figure flickered, side-stepping swiftly, barely dodging the strike.

"Think you can kill me?"

"Not a chance!"

Sindura roared.

The next moment, he took a large step forward, his fist glowing red as blood, like a sunset sky, smashing forth.

This punch, carrying endless gales, was sharp beyond comparison, tearing everything asunder.

Instantly, it swept up countless Asuras, smashing their bodies into a splatter of blood and water. Even the three-headed mammoth celestial elephants raised their trunks and trumpeted in distress.

Boom!

The moment the wind touched Indra, it vanished without a trace.

But behind that wind, the truly terrifying thing was that blood-red fist, like Shiva’s wrath, fiercely red, seemingly set to destroy everything.

Indra raised his own fist, striking out similarly.

Boom!

The fists met, the terrible brightness exploding outwards.

Indra closed the distance instantly, colliding with Sindura’s chest.

At that moment, it was like a chariot crashing into a giant horse, the Naga King entwining around Mandara Mountain, Sindura stumbled back massively, his huge steps crushing the void as he fell.

Indra’s gaze intensified.

He raised the ’Divine Cleaver’ high in his mighty grasp, chopping down towards Sindura.

Whoosh!

Sindura fell backward.

His eyes widened, watching the approaching glint of the axe blade, he violently shifted to the side.

His neck narrowly dodged, but his right arm did not escape.

Whoosh!

In the blink of an eye, Sindura’s right arm was severed.

"!!!"

"You can’t kill me!"

Sindura growled.

His eyes turned blood-red, staring down the next slice of the axe descending upon him.

Roar Roar Roar!

Sindura tilted his head back and roared mightily.

His entire body instantly turned an immensely blood-red color, like a demon god walking out of a blood pool, his cinnabar-like red flesh emitting boundless energy, resembling a scarlet sun.

"I will destroy all of this!"

Sindura roared wildly, head tilted upwards.

Boom!

Suddenly, a massive Divine Scepter appeared in Sindura’s hand, the endless blood-red Divine Light emitting from it rapidly contracting and merging into the scepter before being hurled toward the divine elephant to the south.

"!!!"

Indra’s gaze sharpened.

He turned to look at the remaining three divine elephants that supported the earth and the flying Divine Scepter, then instantly moved to position himself in front of the scepter.

Sindura seized the opportunity.

He violently turned about, ready to transform into a red light and soar skyward.

Indra’s gaze sharpened, and with the Divine Axe in hand, he fiercely swung it towards Sindura.

Swish!

In an instant, Sindura let out a cry of pain.

He looked down and saw that the lower half of his body had disappeared.

But at this moment, Sindura couldn’t care about anything else.

Whoosh!

Sindura leaped into the air and transformed into a red light, vanishing from sight.

Right then, Indra’s large hand, later in action but faster in motion, caught up with the thrown Divine Scepter. With a tight grip of his fingers, the scepter broke into countless pieces.

"Escaped?"

Indra’s gaze sharpened.

He shook his body and, in the same moment, turned into a bolt of lightning, shooting into the skies.

...

Boom!

Boom rumble rumble!

The earth shook, countless mountain ranges swayed, and innumerable boulders rolled down.

At the vast expanse of Astha Mountain.

Aditi, draped in a simple saree, stepped forward, looking around for her grandson.

"I didn’t see wrong!"

"It must have fallen near Astha Mountain!"

Aditi muttered to herself.

She looked around, surveying the scenery nearby.

The area around Astha Mountain was nearing the direction of the setting sun, where it usually descends into the sea and is lovingly accepted by Varuna.

"My dear grandson!"

"Where are you?"

Aditi explored her surroundings.

Suddenly, her ears twitched, and she heard the sound of a child’s crying.

"Marut?"

Aditi called out loudly.

With her call, the crying, like an actor finding their audience, immediately grew louder.

Wah wah wah wah!!!

The sound was crisp, echoing in all directions.

Aditi followed the sound and quickly flew up.

Before long, she descended from the sky and saw a vast expanse of barren land.

This piece of land was scorched black, as if struck by fire and lightning, with all the vegetation burnt up, leaving only seven infants, each swaddled in fierce winds, lying on the ground.

The seven infants lay on the earth, wailing loudly.

Wah wah wah!

"Children!"

Aditi’s face lit up with joy, and she hurried to pick up her grandsons.

Her toes had barely touched the ground.

Crackle!

A cracking bolt of lightning suddenly exploded, shooting in every direction, striking at Aditi’s fingertips.

"Lightning?!"

Aditi quickly withdrew her foot, hovering in the air, and flew upward.

She flipped her palm and saw her fingertips were slightly charred.

She looked down with astonishment, observing the strong currents of electricity flowing on the ground, entwined around the seven infants.

"Indra’s lightning?"

"The aura of these seven children is identical, all of them are Marut!"

"Could they have been split into seven by the lightning?"

Aditi mused in surprise.

Her eyes flickered, watching the electricity surrounding the seven children, pondering how to deal with this lightning.

Whoosh!

A red light shot across the sky like a meteor.

Aditi looked up.

Before she could react, she saw another bolt of azure lightning, which streaked across the sky in a flash.

Crackle!

With the flight of this azure lightning, the electricity around the seven infants also shot out, illuminating the sky, heading towards the heavens.

"!!!" 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

Aditi’s eyes brightened.

She looked up at the sky, then down at the children and immediately flew toward the seven infants.

"Even though they’ve become seven, none of them are hurt!"

"First, I’ll take them back and have Xīmí have a look!"

Aditi thought to herself, wondering how to explain how one child turned into seven and that they were struck by Indra’s lightning.
