Chapter 462: Chapter 405: Your Name, Become the Liberator! (Request for Monthly Votes!)

Sage Buddha’s eyes shone brightly.

The girl before him seemed to startle the suddenly awakened Sage Buddha, causing him to fall backward involuntarily.

Whoosh!

Sage Buddha suddenly reached out and, in an instant, caught the wrist of the girl before him.

He gently pulled her into his embrace.

For a moment, the girl clad in a red sari and the young man looked into each other’s eyes.

"O girl with the pure eyes and slender waist!"

"What is your name, and where do you come from?"

Sage Buddha couldn’t help but ask.

Upon hearing this, the girl blinked.

"My name is Ila!"

The girl named Ila said softly.

Her voice was exceedingly pleasant, like the chirping of a songbird and the gentle calling of a fawn, pure and melodious.

Ila frowned slightly, her pure eyes revealing a touch of confusion.

"I also want to know where my home is, but I can’t remember!"

Ila murmured.

Hearing this, Sage Buddha shook his head.

The girl before him was also homeless; he couldn’t let this frail girl stay alone in this wild forest.

"Ila, come live with me!"

Sage Buddha gathered his courage to say.

Ila blinked her eyes, looking intently at Sage Buddha, a slight smile appearing on her beautiful face.

"Okay~"

Ila nodded her head happily.

Sage Buddha’s face turned red.

The two began living together that very day.

Several days later.

Under the moonlight.

Sage Buddha lay on his side on a bed of flowers, the bright flowers covering the bed like something out of a fairytale princess’s story, gazing at Ila beside him and twirling a strand of her hair.

"Ila, you smell so good..."

Sage Buddha said.

The two cooed over each other.

"Ila, your hands are so soft!"

"Fragrant and soft!"

Sage Buddha’s voice continued, making even the moon above blush slightly red.

Whoosh!

Time flew by.

Soon, a month had passed.

The morning dew slid down on the green leaves, and Sage Buddha walked through the forest, searching for traces of his future wife Ila.

"Ila!"

"Ila, where are you?"

Sage Buddha looked anxious as he searched for signs of Ila.

Ila had gone to fetch water that morning and had suddenly disappeared; only a water jar was left by the riverbank.

This made Sage Buddha extremely anxious.

"I hope Ila hasn’t encountered any danger!"

Sage Buddha thought to himself.

As he thought this, suddenly his eyes lit up, and he saw the bushes not far away slightly shaking.

"Ila!"

Sage Buddha called out Ila’s name and hurriedly rushed forward, pushing aside the weeds.

Whack!

The next moment, a large patch of wild grass parted, and there appeared a young man wearing a crown and dressed in a red stole before Sage Buddha.

Sage Buddha furrowed his brows.

He immediately felt that the young man before him bore some resemblance to Ila.

"Who are you?"

Sage Buddha demanded.

The regal-looking young man pressed his hands together in a namaste gesture, slightly bowing to the ascetic-looking Sage Buddha.

"Praise be to you!"

"Sage!"

"My name is Ira, a king. I was hunting with my guards in the forest, then I lost my memory, and my guards disappeared."

"Please help me find my guards and attendants and escort me from here!"

"I will surely repay you well!"

Ira knelt down with his hands pressed together and spoke.

Upon hearing this, Sage Buddha slightly furrowed his brows; he still needed to find Ila and had no time to help others.

However...

This guy’s attitude was quite good!

"I’m currently busy, you can temporarily follow me and wait for your soldiers!"

Sage Buddha stated.

Upon hearing this, Ira’s face lit up with joy. He pressed his hands together and said, "Great Sage, thank you for your protection, I will definitely repay you well once I return!"

Soon, almost a month had passed.

Sage Buddha still hadn’t found any trace of Ila.

He sat on the now withered flower bed, effectively feeling the scorching fire of love’s pain, his mood sinking to the lowest depths.

"Sigh!"

Sage Buddha sighed.

He glanced at Ila beside him and said, "Forget it, I can’t find my wife for now; I will meditate for you first and see where your troops are!"

In meditation.

Sages usually could discern the knowledge they sought.

Thus, uncovering the reason behind Ila’s lost memory, as well as the location of the troops, wasn’t difficult.

"Praise be to you!"

"Sage Buddha!"

Ila, with hands pressed together and eyes wide open, gratefully said.

Having spent some time together, he had learned about the sudden disappearance of Sage Buddha’s wife and was extremely grateful that Sage Buddha was willing to help him during this time.

"Sage Buddha is truly wonderful!"

"I must repay him well in the future!"

Ila thought joyfully to himself.

At this moment, Sage Buddha took a deep breath, crossed his legs, seated himself on the flower bed, and began to meditate.

His eyes closed, and his breathing gradually steadied.

At this moment, Buddha’s stray thoughts gradually vanished, his senses also grew silent, and he fell into meditation.

Within this meditation.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

In Buddha’s mind, streaks of brilliance flashed, instantly conjuring up various scenes.

These scenes were incredibly complex.

There were breathtakingly beautiful gardens, a three-eyed god riding a bull; a goddess as pristine as a snowy mountain; a curse transforming a man into a woman...

"!!!"

Buddha abruptly opened his eyes.

His eyes wide open, filled with bloodshot veins, he pieced together the memories in his mind.

In an instant, a story surged forth from his mind.

A king had accidentally intruded into the secret garden of Mahadeva and the Lady Master, then his shooting an arrow had startled the Supreme Lord and the Lady Master, and thus he was cursed by the Lady Master to transform from a man into a woman.

However...

Upon the king’s plea, Mahadeva bestowed a blessing.

He would turn back into a man every month.

Thus every month, he would transform from man to woman, and back again, in an endless cycle.

"!!!"

Buddha was shocked in his heart.

He slowly turned his head, looking towards Ila who was full of anticipation.

"Immortal, what did you see?"

Ila asked.

Upon hearing this, Buddha’s eyes trembled, and he was suddenly at a loss for words.

What had he seen?

He had seen this Ila turn into a woman!

"Ira! Ila! Ira!"

"Ila!"

Buddha murmured softly.

He sharply turned his head, looking back at Ila behind him, the king wearing a crown, handsome indeed—a beautiful man.

"So it is!"

Buddha murmured to himself.

At this moment, the galaxy was splendid, the moon right overhead, a dazzling moon hanging right in the center.

A month’s time had already arrived.

Under this bright moonlight, Ila’s body instantly glowed, as if surrounded by numerous fireflies, and a gentle figure also appeared within this radiance.

Swish!

The next moment, a girl with pure eyes appeared.

It was her!

It really was her!

Buddha’s eyes trembled, he couldn’t help but lean forward, with a thump, he placed his hands on the ground, his whole body shaking.

[Ila], bewildered, raised her hand to her head.

"Hmm~"

"Didn’t I go to fetch water?"

"How did I end up here?"

Ila, holding her head, wobbly shook it and then saw Buddha nearby, his hands supporting his body on the ground.

"Buddha!"

"What’s wrong with you?!"

Ila hurriedly approached, anxiously crouching down, embracing Buddha’s arms.

"Are you hungry? I’ll go make food for you!"

Ila said in a panic.

On hearing this, Buddha’s body trembled.

In this soft, gentle voice, he trembled all over, looked up at the beautiful Ila.

This was the first time anyone had spoken to her like this!

Wuu wuu wuu~

Buddha’s eyes filled with tears, he fiercely looked up, what should he do next?

"Why is it like this, what should I do! What should I do!"

"I don’t know!"

"I don’t know!"

...

Heavenly Realm.

The Devas were in high spirits.

"We have totally triumphed this time!"

Sun God Surya said spiritedly, waving his hands, loudly spoke.

"Exactly!"

"The Asuras from Earth saw us and didn’t dare make a move!"

Fire God Agni, surrounded by red light, excitedly spoke.

Wind God Vayu shook his head.

"Did you see it!"

"The Heavenly Emperor just walked past, carrying Dulantak’s head, and not a single person dared to stand out!"

Vayu spoke.

Water God Varuna also wore a smile on his face.

Under Gandharva’s escort, the troops were all overjoyed as well.

Alas!

Indra frowned slightly, wandering under this escort.

His eyes slightly moved, he picked up the heads of [Dulantak] and [Dulu Gang] in his hands, lifting them to his eyes, he couldn’t help but sigh deeply.

"Impulsive!"

"I actually ran to Earth, that was too impulsive!"

"What if I had encountered danger!"

Indra criticized himself internally.

After all, an Asura might pop up, blessed by a blessing and beat him up.

"Still impulsive!"

Indra blinked his eyes, thought to himself.

He had just awakened from meditation, and the reason he got so angry was because he had realized something in his meditation.

"Profit! Law! Desire!"

"Liberation!"

"The Brow Chakra is the Liberator..."
