Chapter 416: Chapter 371: The Wife’s Curse, Beating Up the Young Couple! (Vote for Monthly Tickets!)

"Manda!"

"I wish to undergo austerity and achieve great deeds!"

Sani spoke.

He clasped his wife’s snowy arms with both hands, his voice heartfelt and weighty, his eyes equally profound, staring intently at his wife.

"???"

A series of question marks appeared in Manda’s eyes.

"Today is the auspicious day of our union, what on earth are you trying to do!"

Manda bit her lip hard.

At that moment, her desires shifted, and from the depths of her heart, a nameless anger arose, filling her eyes with a sudden fury.

You’re talking about undergoing austerity now?!

"Sani!"

"Can’t you stay?"

Manda suppressed the rage in her heart and said.

Sani slightly lifted his head.

His expression was grave as he said, "Manda, I’m doing this for your sake as well, how can you not understand me!"

Upon hearing this, Manda erupted in fury.

Today was the grand day of their marriage, yet Sani wanted to undergo austerity!

Thinking so, Manda’s rage surged uncontrollably.

She scowled, swiftly raising her arm—the golden jewelry clanging loudly—as she pointed at Sani’s nose and rebuked, "I am your wife!"

"On such an auspicious day, with me so beautiful!"

"Yet, my husband, you treat me with such neglect, with such contempt, with such disrespect, not seeing me at all!"

"I curse you!"

Curse you! Curse you! Curse you!

Manda’s voice echoed all around as the power of austerity and Karmic Power rose, instantly causing celestial phenomena to change dramatically, countless lightning bolts tumbling within dark clouds, flickering with thunderous roars.

Boom!

Rumble rumble!

Outside the palace, the previously cheerful Devas instantly looked up, all gazing intently into the sky.

"This is... a curse!"

Indra felt a slight shock in his heart.

Whoosh!

Sun God Surya frowned slightly, glanced sideways, and instantly looked in the direction of Sani’s palace.

At that moment, his whole body radiated waves of light, indicating his unsettled mood.

"Impossible!"

"Could it be that Sani has cursed someone?"

"Let’s go and see!"

Surya said.

As his words fell, he swiftly transformed into a streak of golden light and shot off.

"We’ll go too!"

Indra said.

He shifted his form and flew out, with the Devas immediately following behind him.

Boom!

Rumble rumble!

The terrifying sounds of thunder reverberated in all directions, rampant lightning bolts burst forth, unleashing blinding brightness as they flickered down, instantly illuminating Sani’s shocked countenance.

"My husband!"

"From now on, anything you look upon other than me will be destroyed by your gaze!"

Destroyed! Destroyed! Destroyed!

Manda continued her tirade of anger, pointing at Sani’s nose, issuing her furious curse.

The power of the curse was born in that moment, drifting into Sani’s eyes.

Sani shuddered all over.

His vision suddenly blurred, then cleared again.

He looked at Manda in shock, seeing her uncontrollably angry demeanor, and subconsciously fixed his gaze on a nearby lampstand.

Boom!

In an instant, the power of the curse took effect.

With a loud bang, the golden lampstand immediately shattered, its golden pieces scattering into the air.

"What’s happened?"

The voice of Sun God Surya came.

Whoosh!

Faint Sun God’s Light flowed in from the entrance of the palace.

Surya’s luminous figure appeared and caught Sani’s eyes.

The power of the curse acted once again.

In an instant, Surya trembled all over, his body suddenly blackened by an invisible force, and then exploded violently.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Countless sparks flew, bursting forth from Surya’s body.

"Ahhh!"

With a cry of pain, Surya instantly felt an intense pain throughout his body.

What!

Indra flew towards the scene.

In the blink of an eye, he saw Surya, his body flickering with sparks, screaming in pain.

His eyes narrowed, and he raised his hand to throw a cyan lightning chain that wrapped around Surya’s ankle, dragging him back.

Whoosh!

Indra held Surya in his arms and looked down.

Surya’s body was blackened.

Indra looked up at the sky once more, only to see the sun dimmed and its light faint and intermittent, surrounded by a hazy halo that shone down.

"It should be nothing serious!"

Indra muttered to himself.

Surya’s radiance was recovering, and it seemed there shouldn’t be any major problems.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The Devas also arrived by flying, all of them landing and looking towards the fallen Surya with astonishment.

"What’s happened to Surya?"

"What’s going on?"

"Yes, what happened?"

The Devas asked one after another.

"It hurts so much!"

Surya moaned in pain, gasped, and opened his blackened eyelids, lifting his hand to point towards the Temple.

"Sani!"

Surya said.

Whoosh!

Indra and the others turned their heads to look.

Inside the palace, there was utter disarray with gray stone powder, golden flakes, and wood splinters scattered all around.

"My eyes!"

"My eyes, oh my eyes!"

"Manda, how could you curse me? Now I can’t see anything!"

Sani’s eyes emitted light, shooting out two beams of blue brilliance that swept around chaotically like spotlights. Whatever they touched instantly exploded.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Golden Plates, candlesticks, carpets, and other objects all burst apart.

Whoosh!

The next moment, Sani’s gaze fell on the gods.

"No good!"

"Everyone scatter!"

Indra’s eyes sharpened, and pulling Surya along, he flickered, spinning out of their original spot instantaneously.

The Devas scattered as well.

Boom!

Their previous location exploded, leaving a large crater.

"Calm down!"

Indra’s voice deepened.

In his right hand, light flickered as he gripped the Vajra Pestle and hurled it towards Sani.

Bang!

The next moment, the Vajra Pestle struck squarely on Sani’s forehead, causing him to knee in pain, clenching his eyes shut and holding his head.

"What was that power just now?"

The Devas finally responded, exclaiming in alarm.

Indra’s eyes darkened.

He stared intently at Sani and began speaking slowly.

"It must be a curse!"

"Sani has been cursed!"

At this point, he shifted his gaze towards Manda, who now had red eyes as if burning with fever.

She seemed abnormal too!

"Was it you who cursed Sani?"

Indra asked in a heavy tone.

"He wanted to undertake ascetic practices on the day of our marriage. How could he think of asceticism!" Manda’s voice was filled with anger, but then her tone softened to a wistful whisper. "I can bring him pleasure, but he insists on seeking asceticism, why? Why is that?"

Manda breathed heavily, seemingly filled with indignation, yet also with self-pity.

Seeing this, Indra’s eyebrows knitted slightly.

Uh-huh!

This Manda seems to have issues as well.

"Manda!"

At that moment, Indra suddenly spoke out, catching Manda’s attention.

Huh?

Manda slowly raised her head, looking forward.

In an instant, a Vajra Pestle gleaming with the cold light of a thousand blades appeared in Manda’s field of vision.

Clang!!!
