Chapter 388: Chapter 345: The Death of Toraga, Maya’s Triple Fortress! (Vote for Monthly Tickets!)

Kashigyakya rose to his feet and moved.

He turned into a golden light and had already descended to the Mortal Realm, circling around Mandara Mountain and appearing above the land of Jambudvipa.

Swish!

The golden light condensed, forming Kashigyakya’s figure.

His gaze lowered to the reed marsh and lotus pond below, where lotuses spread far and wide and reeds grew densely clustered. He couldn’t help but frown.

Seems like there’s a bit too much!

At that moment, he divided himself into six parts, descending in six different locations!

"Forget it!"

"I’ll spend more time and pull them all out!"

Kashigyakya swooped down in flight, landing instantaneously. Simultaneously, his body split from one into six, each heading into the water in different directions.

Splash! Splash! Splash!

They stirred up layers of ripples.

...

Above the starry sky.

Indra held the Vajra Pestle in both hands, resembling a carefree monk, as if ringing a bell throughout the day, the Vajra Pestle in his hands continuously striking down on Toraga’s nape.

Thump! Thump! Thump...

The Vajra Pestle erupted with Divine Power.

With each strike, the Blessing Force was unleashed, striking Toraga and leaving his mind dazed.

Boom, boom, boom!

Within the battlefield, Gandharvas and Asuras had already become entangled in a fierce melee.

The five Asura brothers appeared hesitant.

They stood back to back, watching with vigilance and solemnity the distant and embattled Toraga.

"Big brother, shall we not rescue the king?"

One of the five Asura brothers spoke.

Swish!

All four turned to look at their eldest brother.

Upon hearing this, the shortest of the five elder brothers replied,

"No!"

"Our blessing is more suited for defense and entrapment, and besides, the Poison of Kalahala is too dangerous. It’s not worth it just to save Toraga!"

The eldest of the five brothers spoke.

Hearing this, the other four suddenly understood.

The blessing of the five Asura brothers was very simple: by holding hands, they could encircle the enemy, forming an insurmountable mountain trapping the foe forever within.

If used well, this blessing could trap many invincible foes!

But against an enemy head-on, they were only of a general’s level.

Do not go!

We absolutely cannot go!

Elsewhere, Lianmu, the brothers with stars for eyes, and those wreathed in electric rings all gathered together, approaching the Sukhacara Sage.

At this moment, Sukhacara Sage was muttering under his breath.

He lay hidden behind the great army, continuously reciting the Resurrection Curse.

"Master!"

"Quickly use the Brahman Heavenly Treasure!"

One with the electric ring urged anxiously.

Upon hearing this, Sukhacara’s brows knitted tightly. He stealthily glanced towards Indra’s direction, his expression growing tense.

"It’s no use!"

"The Brahman Heavenly Treasure is too conspicuous—it will certainly attract Indra’s attention!"

"Were I to be struck with that silence, not only would I be unable to use Brahman Heavenly Treasure, but I wouldn’t be able to utter Shangjiponi’s Resurrection Incantation either!"

"I am more important than your father. You should stay here to protect me!"

Sukhacara Sage said this as he carefully watched the situation unfolding towards Indra.

Swish!

Upon hearing this, the Lianmu Three Brothers looked at one another, unsure of what to do next.

Boom!

The space in the starry sky shattered with Maya Asura’s arrival, accompanied by a wavering voice.

"Don’t worry, I’m here!"

Maya Asura held the reins tight in his grasp, with the Divine Chariot pivoting and swiftly approaching.

Behind him,

Gigantic and ferocious demons, extending their sharp claws, tore through the void, and once again burst forth, charging towards the vast and boundless stellar battlefield.

"Maya Asura!"

"Maya Asura has come, bringing with him so many demons!"

"Good!"

Lianmu, Xingmu, and Dianhuan, the three brothers, became excited, clapping their hands in approval.

Roar roar roar!

Under Maya Asura’s command, the demons all roared fiercely, spewing out repulsive and evil winds, battling the Devas and charging at Indra.

The commotion of the demons immediately caught the attention of Toraga.

"Hahaha!"

"I won, they’ve come! It’s a victory for me!"

Toraga laughed exuberantly.

"I wouldn’t be so sure!"

Indra slightly tilted his head upwards.

Boom boom boom!

At that moment, vast and towering shadows suddenly blanketed everything.

Mountains floated in mid-air, their massive shadows eclipsing the starlight, plunging the surroundings into endless darkness.

"No way!"

"Go!"

"Charge!!!"

The Sons of the Mountains flapped their wings vigorously, swooping down with a thunderous crash.

Boom boom boom!

The massive chain of the Mountains, connecting in front of the battlefield of Indra and Toraga, formed what appeared to be an insurmountable range of Despair Mountains.

The void trembled!

Instantly, Toraga’s complexion changed, becoming cold, foreboding, and utterly pale.

"I told you so!"

Indra said, smiling as the Vajra Pestle once again came crashing down in his hands.

Under the horrified gaze of Toraga, the Vajra Pestle, glimmering with pale blue lightning, struck down in an instant.

Bang!!!

Toraga’s eyes saw stars, as he was once again struck by the Blessing Force and was rendered unconscious.

Seeing this, Indra shook his head and sighed.

"You should have committed fewer evils!"

"Otherwise, you wouldn’t keep fainting with every hit!"

Indra said.

The Mountains roared, opening their large mouths.

Swoosh!

A violent devouring force emerged, swallowing the myriad demons one by one.

Time dripped away.

All these demons were unable to advance.

"We can’t break through!"

Maya Asura’s eyes narrowed slightly as he said in a deep voice.

"Maya, quickly use your Maya Illusion Power, why aren’t you using it?" Dianhuan said anxiously, once again urging him.

Swoosh!

Maya Asura furrowed his brows tightly.

"No!"

"Indra’s army of senses is still there!"

Maya Asura said.

He clearly remembered the scene when he was nearly killed by this army of senses.

"!!!"

Lianmu, Xingmu, and Dianhuan were extremely anxious.

"No!"

"The Son of Mahadeva has disappeared, he must be trying to find a way to break the blessing bestowed upon our father!"

"We must rescue our father before he returns!"

"No!"

"No need to rescue!"

"We just need to interrupt Indra, to give Father a chance to counterattack, that’s all!"

Lianmu’s eyes glimmered with depth.

His father was endowed with several blessings!

Though Indra, with the power of the Blessing Force, temporarily controlled his father, rendering him unable to use his strength,

if only given a chance!

His father, Toraga, would be able to break free!

As soon as his words fell, a splendid five-colored Divine Light suddenly descended from the pitch-black starry sky and burst forth before everyone’s eyes.

"It’s him!"

"He’s back!"

"It’s over!"

Lianmu, Xingmu, and Dianhuan’s pupils shrank in astonishment at the sight of Kashigyakya’s return.

It’s doomed!

The Son of Mahadeva has returned!

Could it be that the Son of Mahadeva has found a way to counteract his father’s blessings?

Whoosh!

Kashigyakya descended back to return.

"Teacher!"

Clutching a bunch of lotuses and reeds, Kashigyakya returned and asked in alarm, "Which one inside? I can’t find it!"

Upon hearing this, Indra’s eyebrows rose.

"Just cut them all once and you’ll see!"

Indra said.

"I understand!"

Kashigyakya quickly shook his head, and the lotuses and reeds in his embrace instantly flew into the air.

A Divine Cleaver appeared in his hand, waving left and right.

"Roar!!!"

Toraga’s eyes were blood-red as he let out a thunderous roar.

At this life-and-death critical moment, an enormous force erupted like a volcano, instantly gushing out and transforming into an invisible shockwave that crushed the surrounding void into dust.

Boom!

Toraga shattered the space, about to charge at Kashigyakya.

"It seems your half life force is indeed here!"

Indra’s gaze hardened.

No sooner had his words ended than a flash of golden light appeared in his hand, the ’Divine Cleaver’ axe spinning out and returning in an arc to slice towards Toraga’s legs.

The cutting-all Blessing Force was activated!

Swish!

Toraga’s legs were instantly severed, separating from his body, leaving only half a torso.

He came to a halt.

But then, with a flash of golden light and under the Immortal Blessing, the two legs floating in mid-air vanished, rejoined, and returned to their original place, as if refreshed, fully restored.

Roar!!

Toraga roared and was about to rush at Kashigyakya.

But Indra, holding the Divine Cleaver, wrapped in whirlwinds and thunder, wearing a large red cape, appeared instantly in front of him.

"Get out of the way!!!"

Toraga bellowed in surprise and anger.

He swung his massive fists, circling his arms, and hurled them at Indra with all his might.

Indra’s gaze intensified.

"I’ll chop off your head!"

Swish!

The Divine Cleaver fell thunderously from above, splitting Toraga in two down the middle, following the central line of his forehead, throat, and navel.

Toraga’s figure staggered, and his arms stopped moving.

The terrifying force of his punch caused the stars to shake, the earth to crack, and countless planets to burst into volcanoes.

"!!!"

A look of solemnity appeared in Indra’s face.

The power of the punch was frighteningly strong; fortunately, it did not hit him, otherwise, he would have been seriously injured.

Crack!

Toraga’s body, split in two, began to fall to both sides.

Whoosh!

The next instant, Toraga was enveloped in a golden light once more.

Under the Immortal Blessing, his bisected body shifted in space, reappearing in one piece, joining together, and healing once again.

"You really do infuriate me!"

"This Divine Cleaver is a blessed item given to my subordinates. Did you think it alone could kill me?"

Toraga’s eyes turned crimson with rage, he gritted his teeth.

He lifted his leg to take a step forward.

Crack!

His right leg broke instantly, causing him to fall heavily into the void.

Indra did not speak but silently gazed towards Kashigyakya.

"Found it!"

"Teacher, I’ve found it!"

Kashigyakya’s face was filled with joy as he held his right hand high, clutching a lotus and a reed.

Toraga’s eyes widened in horror at the sight.

"It’s over!"

Indra declared.

The next moment, Kashigyakya’s hands twisted the mass of flowers and grasses viciously together, before flinging it violently into the starry sky.

These were not his mother, so he had no reservations about getting rough with them.

"Aaaaargh!"

Toraga looked up and roared in unbearable agony.

Kashigyakya, holding the Divine Spear, leaped into the air again, clenching the spear shaft with both hands and aiming for Toraga’s head.

Boom!

Toraga finally fell to the ground and died for good.

"Dead!"

"Good that he’s dead!"

"Erase him without a trace!"

Indra’s eyes sparked with pleasure as he pointed his finger.

The deadly birdcage swirling in the air instantly coalesced into a Divine Arrow and shot straight downward.

Boom!

The moment Toraga’s corpse came in contact with the Poison of Kalahala, it suddenly swelled and exploded, sending endless black ash bursting in all directions.

"We’ve won!"

"The Devas have won!"

"Heavenly Realm has triumphed!"

Cheers erupted all around.

The Mountains and the Gandharvas rejoiced, cheering incessantly.

Lianmu, his brothers, with eyes turning red, looked on in sorrow as the black ash fluttered through the starry space, falling upon everyone’s faces.

"It’s over, father is blown to bits everywhere, how can we resurrect him now?"

Lianmu despaired.

The Undying Curse of Sukhacara from the Immortal Sukhacara Sage had its conditions; it required a complete corpse, or at least a full piece of it, for resurrection.

But if it was not intact, it was difficult to perform the resurrection ritual.

"Father!"

"I will have my vengeance!"

Toraga, stretching out his hand, took a small piece of the ash that looked like snowflakes, gritted his teeth, and whispered to himself.

"Impossible!"

"How can we defeat Indra? It’s too hard, too difficult!"

Narrator lowered their head in despair.

Whoosh!

Maya Asura stepped forward, Divine Scepter in hand.

"I have a plan that will need the three of you. If we join forces, perhaps we can defeat the Devas,"

Maya Asura spoke with a heavy voice.

"What?"

Toraga suddenly looked up at Maya Asura.

Maya Asura’s expression was calm as he slowly uttered three words.

"Triple Fortress!"
