Chapter 345: Chapter 313: Become a Teacher, I Also Want to Become a Brahma Immortal! (Blessings, Please!)

"He still lacks a teacher!"

Shiva’s voice, boundless and omnipresent, reached everyone’s ears.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

The Devas’ eyes suddenly lit up.

"The teacher of Kashigyakya!"

"This is the perfect opportunity to showcase my brilliance!"

Sun God Surya tilted slightly to the side, his forearm raised gently, and the Holy Belt draped over his arm cascaded down like a waterfall, his golden radiance twinkling and becoming blindingly dazzling.

Fire God Agni also clenched his fist, fixing his gaze on Kashigyakya. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

"Back then, I was defeated by Vajra Body!"

"This time, if I become Kashigyakya’s teacher, and he defeats Toraga, the son of Vajra Body, as my disciple, that will also be my victory!"

Agni was brimming with enthusiasm.

Wind God Vayu’s eyes sparkled, eager to try.

"Son of Mahadeva, so powerful!"

"If I can teach him, he will certainly become a powerful warrior!"

Thought Wind God Vayu to himself.

Water God Varuna glanced around.

His expression was solemn, and he nodded slightly. It seemed everyone wanted to be the Son of Mahadeva’s teacher, so why not join in the fun?

With that thought, Water God Varuna also made up his mind and focused his eyes on Kashigyakya.

God of Wealth Kubera furrowed his brow slightly.

He raised his glittering finger and scratched his head, then hugged his weighty belly, falling into thought.

He wanted to be Kashigyakya’s teacher too!

Unfortunately, his martial skills left much to be desired, and he wondered if he had a chance...

Kubera hesitated.

While Surya and the others had already stepped forward, volunteering themselves, they began to proclaim their skills and greatness.

"Great Mahadeva, choose me, and I will make him a warrior as radiant as the sun!"

"Let it be me, and he will burn everything like flames!"

"Great Mahadeva, I will make him an infinitely strong warrior!"

...

The Devas took turns voicing their offers.

Indra’s face broke into a smile.

The Devas being so active and eager was good for him; the best would be to give all things to Kashigyakya.

In that case, this powerful Heavenly Army Commander could stand in for him against the King of Asura.

Then, he could pass the title of Heavenly Emperor to Kashigyakya!

"Perfect!"

Indra laughed, blinking, and thought to himself.

The Pleiades Goddesses also smiled.

If these powerful Devas could become the child’s teachers, what a wonderful thing that would be!

"???"

Parvati’s eyes flickered with a questioning light as she scrutinized these Devas.

These pathetic Devas, aspiring to become teachers of her son, truly hard to entrust with confidence.

At least the Heavenly Emperor seemed a bit more reliable!

Parvati’s gaze shifted, looking towards Indra.

Shiva smiled without saying a word.

His eyes scanned the surroundings, observing the eager Devas, yet he offered no response, as if waiting for something.

Swish!

The next moment, a withered figure appeared abruptly.

He was lean, dressed in a thin, diagonally draped ritual robe made from tree bark, looking exceedingly simple.

"!!!"

The gods all fixed their eyes, staring intently at this fellow.

This person...

"Vishvamitra!"

Vishvamitra! Vishvamitra! Vishvamitra!

The Devas stared incredulously at the man before them, each loudly voicing their surprise in echoing astonishment.

"Vishvamitra!"

"Immortal of many friends!"

Indra muttered.

The arrival was none other than the Immortal of many friends, who had forsaken the power of Kshatriya to pursue the Power of Asceticism.

Formerly the King of the Kanyakubja city, he once tried to seize the Wishful Divine Ox of the Extremely Affluent Immortal and was defeated by him. From that defeat, he realized the power of the Immortals.

So he decided to forsake his identity as a king and began to practice asceticism.

His power of asceticism was already very strong, and he could have become an Immortal among kings, but that was not enough for him. He wanted to become a Brahma Immortal, so he continued his ascetic practices.

Now Shiva has actually summoned his friends!

Could it be that this fellow is going to level up today?

Indra turned his head to look at Shiva and saw Shiva’s face blooming with a smile, gentle and warm as a spring breeze on his face.

The Devas also saw the expression on Shiva’s face.

Boom!

Thunderous roars!

At that moment, their hearts sank, and they widened their eyes, staring at the Immortal before them who had interrupted the process.

Could it be that Shiva intended for this Immortal friend to become the teacher of Kashigyakya?

In the intersection of numerous gazes.

Shiva began to speak with a smile.

"Vishvamitra!"

"Friend of the world! Friend of all beings!"

"I have witnessed your asceticism, go and assist Kashigyakya. Seek his protection. Once he has completed his mission, he will also help you fulfill your aspirations and purify you,"

Shiva said.

Hearing this, the Immortal friend pressed his palms together, looking at Shiva with emotion.

"I am but a mere Kshatriya!"

"Oh Mahadeva!"

"Thank you for your kindness!"

The Immortal friend said with his palms pressed together, bowing deeply in gratitude.

A Brahman who practices asceticism becomes an Immortal and thus a Brahma Immortal; a Kshatriya who practices asceticism becomes an Immortal and thus an Immortal among kings.

He had already practiced asceticism for many years.

His power of asceticism could have already made him an Immortal among kings, but he was not content with just being one, and so he continued to practice.

Now, his ascetic practice was finally about to be complete!

"This is your duty, as well as the opportunity you have gained through your asceticism!"

Shiva said.

Hearing this, the Immortal friend pressed his palms together and bowed again.

"Oh Mahadeva!"

"I will do my utmost to assist and instruct Kashigyakya!"

The Immortal friend declared.

Hearing this, the Devas could not help but sigh, it seemed that Kashigyakya’s teacher would indeed be this Immortal friend.

Amid the sighs, Shiva smiled, and his eyes shifted momentarily.

"Indra!"

"Your martial skills are exquisite, so you shall teach Kashigyakya horsemanship, Vajra Fight, Knife Skill, Shield Technique, archery, as well as Elephant Driving,"

Shiva commanded.

"???"

Indra stood in place, momentarily unable to comprehend.

Wasn’t it the Immortal friend?

How come the conversation suddenly shifted to him?

Indra blinked his eyes, took a deep breath, and pondered.

"Oh Mahadeva!"

"The Immortal friend was once a warrior with exquisite martial skills, since you have already made him Kashigyakya’s teacher!"

"How can you assign someone else for this task?"

Indra spoke.

Shiva blinked, and with a shake of his head, said,

"I merely instructed the Immortal friend to assist Kashigyakya!"

"You heard wrong!"

Shiva stated.

"..."

Indra was momentarily silent, then seriously said, "But I have been practicing asceticism for many years, I haven’t wielded weapons for a long time, my skills in Vajra Fight and Knife Skill have deteriorated, and I’m afraid my archery may not be very accurate anymore!"

Hearing this, Shiva shook his head.

"You are right!"

"After many years of ascetic practice, you haven’t practiced many martial arts!"

"But besides those, you can still teach him the sword techniques of the double-edged sword, the whirling flexible sword, and other such arts, as well as the martial skills of the spear, hook chain spear, and javelin!"

"Flying wheels, throwing darts, and shurikens as projectile weapons!"

Shiva shook his head and continued.
