Chapter 338: Chapter 306: Let me show you how to roast a chicken! (Vote for me monthly!)

Lustful Asura!

The figure was graceful and lithe, the face however, was exceedingly bizarre, androgynous in appearance, neither male nor female.

The adornments were just as strange!

Gentle swaying of the gold necklace and headdress resting upon jet-black hair, gold hoops on the ears, a jasmine garland around the neck, dressed in pink garments resembling a maiden.

Yet draped over the body was the Holy Belt of a Great Ascetic and the armguards of a warrior!

The Lustful Asura wore a smile.

With a slight raise of the hands, standing on tiptoes, a seductive pose was struck followed by the bringing together of hands, as if in praise or mockery, laughing.

"You have awakened me, the Lustful Asura!"

"I truly thank you!"

Having said that, the Lustful Asura lifted a finger in an effeminate manner, raised an eyebrow, covered mouth, and let out a series of light chuckles.

He was very young!

Appearing to be in the verdant years of adolescence, yet the expression was exceedingly mature, the eyes of one seasoned in the arts of love!

"The world needs lust!"

"I will spread all desires far and wide, nourish the unlawful, as the Righteous Law crumbles, the Era of Perfection departs, and the great epochs collapse, then will be born the most powerful Asura!"

"When the time comes, he will be the king of the world!"

The Lustful Asura muttered to himself.

As an entity born from the same pile of ashes, he could feel the power contained within those ashes that would surely foster the birth of the most powerful Asura.

He intended to let lust dominate the world, to hasten the Asura’s birth!

Hehehe~

The Lustful Asura giggled behind a covered mouth, hips swaying provocatively, buttock perked up, enticing desire, turning to leave.

...

"What a big roast chicken!"

The Fire God Agni’s gaze was intent.

Standing sideways, hands on hips, he looked at the bird-shaped demon that had been roasted, muttering to himself.

The next moment, Agni lifted his gaze, only to see Mountains transform into giant mountain forms, their cave-like mouths unleashing a tremendous suction force, like a whirlwind, one monster after another being sucked into these mountains.

Boom!

Agni beckoned with his hands, hastily released flames, then rushed into the heart of the mountains.

Explosions reverberated within, booming like distant thunder, thundering incessantly. Then, countless scorched monsters were expelled by the mountains.

With everyone’s combined efforts, the monsters on the battlefield were finally cleared.

Soon, monster after monster was burnt to char, scattering downwards.

Tsk!

The Fire God Agni clicked his tongue, blinked, and stared at those monsters coming out, burned with flames.

"The taste is not bad at all!"

Agni murmured to himself.

He was the burning flame, burning was his offering, and the burnt beings were his tribute!

Thus if he wished, he could taste the monsters as well.

While speaking, he pushed with his hands again, and great billows of flame surged forth, once more enveloping the monsters.

Boom!

The fire burnt again.

Agni smacked his lips, eyes closed, savoring the taste of these grilled creatures much like relishing a roast chicken.

In the Mortal Realm, the Brahman would not usually offer meat in their sacrifice to the Devas.

Innocent animals deserve respect, slaughtering them as offerings is a desecration of the sacrifice; impure animals are simply filthy, and to offer them to the Devas is to defile the gods themselves.

Pure! Impure!

Neither is acceptable!

So they just forgo offering meat altogether!

But for the Fire God, they are flames themselves, and can separate the impurities. The wilderness of the burning forest, the roasting of cooked animals, that is satisfying the palate of the Fire God.

He, too, is not one to refuse!

"Agni!"

"What are you doing?"

At that time, Indra came striding over with large steps, swinging his arms.

Agni had been standing in front of this charred demon in a daze, Indra had no idea what he was up to.

The battle was nearly at its end!

But what on earth was this fellow daydreaming about?

Swish!

Upon hearing that, Agni suddenly opened his eyes, which glowed like melting gold, sparkling with excitement.

He swallowed saliva, and hastily said.

"This demon’s flavor is really quite good!"

"Full of grease!"

"Have a taste yourself!"

Agni said.

Upon hearing this, Indra turned his head, glanced at the demon that was almost burnt to charcoal, black and emitting blue smoke, and couldn’t help but twitch at the corner of his mouth.

But faced with the invitation, he still raised a hand and pointed.

Boom!

A bolt of lightning descended from the sky in an instant, striking the demon that looked like a charred roast chicken.

Electricity surged, spreading over the corpse.

Indra closed his eyes, savoring the taste of these demons, then opened his eyes, clicking his tongue in surprise.

It’s actually quite good!

He blinked, looked at the charred demon in astonishment and said,

"Odd!"

"The demons I used to strike dead were all dry and bitter with a burnt flavor."

"How does it taste so much better when Agni cooks it?!"

"Could it be because he can burn away impurities?"

Indra cast a glance at Agni, pondering in his heart.

Let’s make a beggar’s chicken!

The next moment, he waved his hand, and a giant tender green lotus leaf appeared before the two of them.

"Fetch a demon!"

Indra said.

Agni looked somewhat puzzled, conjured a golden spear in his hand, and as he saw a demon plummeting from the sky, he shot straight out.

The golden spear pierced the air, stabbing through the demon; golden flames burned, erasing its malicious thoughts.

Then it fell to the ground like a meteorite.

Boom!

The demon, like a turkey, landed on that lotus leaf.

Flourish!

Red pollen, yellow turmeric, white clove powder, and countless pure spices poured down.

The lotus leaf wrapped around, tightly enclosing it.

Indra raised his hand, and the powers of earth and water surged; mounds of soil rose and combined with the water, forming a moist earth ball around the lotus leaf bundle.

"Agni, set it ablaze!"

Indra commanded. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

The Fire God Agni’s eyes brightened, and he immediately ignited the flames, starting to burn the moist earth ball.

Soon, fragrant scents wafted out, drifting in all directions.

Kailash.

Parvati took a light sniff with her nose and blinked her beautiful eyes in surprise at the aroma.

"What a pure fragrance!"

Parvati murmured.

Brahma also shook his head, fluttering his eyes, looking towards Mount Kailash.

Vishnu smiled slightly.

"Flames can burn away impurities!"

"In the fierce fire, the dark and gloomy nature of these demons is purified!"

"The lotus leaf is the throne of Goddess Saraswati, a symbol of purity and cleanliness."

"In this pure ritual!"

"The demon, too, will be purified within the lotus leaf."

"Soil is the realm of fragrance; with the earth’s embrace, fragrance arises; water is the domain of taste, combined with water, deliciousness is born!"

"This is a fragrance that is holy and pure!"

Vishnu’s eyes shone like water, he shook his head and showed a moved smile, expressing his admiration.

His whole body radiated a divine glow, like spring sunlight, seemingly reviving the earth, stretching the flowers and grass, and showing a bursting vitality.

"!!"

Parvati’s eyes twinkled, surprised by these words.

That makes sense!

"It smells delicious!"

"If it’s these demons, I could indeed make a meal for my husband."

Parvati’s eyes sparkled suddenly.
