Chapter 316: Chapter 292: I am Toraga, Off to Steal the Divine Tree! (Vote for Monthly Tickets!)

This figure was extremely tall, with a headband standing erect on top of his head!

The dark skin had a reddish tint, like the brass in flames, a golden armor that shone brilliantly clung to his body, and around his neck hung a string of skull necklaces.

He stood like a golden rooster on one leg, issuing a focused chant of praise from his mouth.

"Om~ Praise be to Brahma!"

"Om~ Praise be to Brahma!"

...

This was Tree Pose Yoga.

Hands joined together, raised above the head, the left foot planted on the ground, the right foot slightly bent and resting in the crook of the left knee.

This posture was like that of a tree, experiencing the life, aging, illness, and death of a great tree.

Wave after wave of powerful asceticism surged, flowing forth from this Asura’s body.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The earth split open, and the mountains trembled.

The hill under the Asura’s foot instantly cracked, breaking away from the earth; the soil, trees, and wild beasts tumbled down, while under the influence of the Power of Asceticism, the hill gradually ascended into the sky, heading towards heaven.

"!!!"

The Devas widened their eyes, watching this scene with terror and trepidation.

"Such powerful Asceticism!" Sun God Surya murmured. "He seems to be on the verge of Asceticism Perfection!"

Fire God Agni took a deep breath.

He slightly lifted his right hand, clenched it into a fist, and said anxiously, "Who is he, which Asura is he?"

"I’ve never seen him!"

Wind God Vayu also looked grave.

Water God Varuna followed, "I don’t recognize him either!"

The gods looked at each other, a chill in their hearts.

An Asura they had never met before!

One could imagine that once this Asura completed his asceticism successfully, he would obtain immense power.

He might even come to attack the Heavenly Realm!

Hearing this, Wind God Vayu clenched his fists and frowned, suggesting a bold idea.

"Should we send someone to interrupt his asceticism?"

Wind God Vayu whispered.

If the gods interrupted the asceticism, they might also be punished by Mahadeva, considering Shiva is the protector of ascetics.

But after all, this was not the sin of killing Brahma, so there was room for maneuver.

It was at this moment that the voice of Ritual Master Immortal arose.

"It’s too late!"

Swish!

The multitude of Devas suddenly turned their heads to look at the Ritual Master Immortal.

The Ritual Master Immortal’s eyes were deep, he stared intently at the screen in front of him, and said solemnly, "This Asura’s asceticism is already perfect, Lord Brahma is about to descend!"

As he spoke.

The hill had already risen high into the sky.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Dense, heavy dark clouds covered the earth, formidable and without a trace of light; fractures of lightning fell from time to time, thundering loudly.

Under the force of asceticism, the hill broke through the clouds, overlooking the summits of the Mountains below.

A dark clump of clouds revealed a serene blue radiance.

Swish!

The dim clouds rose and gathered, encircling around the Asura, gradually forming four ancient faces.

Brahma descended here!

"Tulaka Asura!"

"Your asceticism is complete, what boon do you desire?"

The misty clouds whirled and soared, forming Brahma’s four faces, the eight eyes gazing at Tulaka Asura, speaking slowly.

The eyes of Brahma twinkled.

This Asura in front of him was, indeed, the son of Vajra Body.

Tulaka!

Vajra Body had previously sought a boon for Tulaka, to make him the greatest warrior.

Now Tulaka’s asceticism was perfected!

The boon he would seek was likely an even more covetous one!

Swish!

Tulaka Asura slowly opened his eyes, his gaze slightly focused, looking up at the Divine Light shimmering Brahma.

"I want Amrita!"

Amrita! Amrita! Amrita!

Tulaka Asura lifted his head and stated loudly and clearly.

Amrita!

The immortal nectar!

Once consumed, one would not face death.

"Tulaka!"

"Amrita is for the Devas, it cannot be given to you, you may ask for another blessing," said Brahma.

Tulaka’s eyes narrowed as he continued, "I want immortality!"

Brahma shook his head.

His beard slightly curled as he spoke again.

"The cosmic cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death, immortality contradicts the natural laws, not even Shiva can grant you such a boon," said Brahma.

As he spoke, it seemed as though to verify the truth of his words, the clouds swirled and gathered, forming a Trishula dangling with a damaru drum.

"Mahadeva..."

Tulaka’s eyes narrowed, his thoughts churning.

He knew of the boons received by former Kings of Asura, all of which made them invulnerable to some life form or object. This truly avoided most harm, but one could still find a weakness, to be killed by life outside the boon.

Even if a boon included all life, the Three Aspects Deity could still create new life.

Then...

Perhaps a different approach was needed.

Tulaka’s eyes flashed, he abruptly raised his hand, pointing at the Trishula formed from the gathering clouds.

"Only the child born from Shiva himself can harm me, can bring me to an end!"

"No other existence shall be able to harm me!" Tulaka declared.

Upon hearing this, Brahma slowly raised his right hand, from the palm emanated a faint golden light, shining down in an instant, entering Tulaka’s body.

"As you wish!"

As you wish! As you wish! As you wish!

The faint voice of Brahma echoed here, and the Blessing Force flowed into Tulaka Asura’s body with the golden light. Bathed in this golden light, Tulaka Asura slowly stretched out his arms, feeling the immortal power infused within him.

Brahma’s gaze was fixed, watching the figure with a hint of worry in his heart.

Mahadeva is now engaging in the Power of Asceticism!

Moreover, Mahadeva produced a child on his own, without Parvati’s involvement—she must be going mad!

Whoosh!

The worried Brahma vanished into Divine Light, disappearing from the scene.

Tulaka Asura, looking up, raised his right hand with fingers spread wide, as if trying to grasp the entire Heavenly Realm in his palm.

"Hahaha!"

"Father, you are not ruthless enough, nor are you strong enough!"

"Now I wield a strength greater than anyone else’s, surpassing the power of all! Is there anyone who can compare with me in ambition, resolve, might, and vitality?"

"Certainly not, absolutely not!"

"Next, I shall verify it one by one!"

"Ahahaha!"

Tulaka Asura, the King of Asura, laughed uproariously.

With his outstretched hand suddenly clenched, an invisible blast of energy surged from his grasp, the dark clouds rolled violently, like giant waves rushing in all directions.

Crack!

The barrier of light in the Heavenly Realm shattered instantly.

The Devas’ expressions changed dramatically.

This Asura’s divine blessing!

It’s powerful!

Really powerful!

"What do we do now?" Fire God Agni looked around anxiously, furrowing his brows. "Only the son of Shiva can kill him, what if he attacks the Heavenly Realm next?"

Sun God Surya, shaking his head, quickly raised his hand to reassure everyone.

"Don’t panic just yet!"

"He will most certainly head to Earth first to gather an army!"

"We still have a chance!"

Sun God Surya said.

The Ritual Master Immortal shook his head, frowning in thought. "Let’s go to Brahmaloka first; if that fails, we’ll turn to Vighna."

As for dealing with these Asuras, the process is simple!

First, find the Heavenly Emperor; if he’s not there, go to Brahmaloka, and if Brahmaloka doesn’t work out, then to Vighna, and if Vighna also fails, we must resort to Kailash.

There will be a way!

"Let’s go!"

Wind God Vayu clenched his fists, ready to take immediate action.

The blessing was given by Brahma; it was time to seek his intervention!

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

With serious expressions, the Devas clasped their hands together and, chanting the name of Brahma, vanished from sight.

...

The Sons of the Mountains wandered lost and uncertain, roaming the brightly lit Heavenly Realm.

"It looks like the Asura is about to attack the Heavenly Realm, and the whereabouts of the Heavenly Emperor are unknown!"

"What do we do?"

Xiangzui Mountain was very concerned, frowning at Mayu Mountain and muttering.

The group of mountains also bore faces of gloom and distress.

"If the Asura attacks the Heavenly Realm, the Devas will certainly need help!" Minaga Mountain glanced at his brothers. "Let’s stay here to help. When the Heavenly Emperor returns, he will surely aid us."

No sooner had he finished speaking than some among the mountains objected while others agreed.

Immediately, an argument ensued!

"No!"

"We are cursed to die; what if the curse is fulfilled upon this Asura? We would perish!"

"Are we to leave then? The Asura has been defeated many times, and he will surely lose this time too. The Devas have won so many times; they must have a way."

"Didn’t you see the blessing that Asura received? Nobody can harm that Asura!"

The Sons of the Mountains instantly began to quarrel over whether to stay or leave.

Stomp!

"Quiet!"

Quiet! Quiet! Quiet!

Mayu Mountain’s brow furrowed slightly, and with a heavy stomp on the ground, a roar resounded.

Whoosh!

The surrounding mountains immediately fell silent, swiftly turning their heads to look at Mayu Mountain, awaiting its response.

The eyes of Mayu Mountain sparkled.

He shifted his figure and began walking with large strides into the midst of the mountains.

"To break the curse," 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"We must stay in the Heavenly Realm!"

As Mayu Mountain spoke, he couldn’t help but look up, gazing into the distance at the glorious Divine Tree.

The Divine Tree stood tall and magnificent, radiating bright light!

Among its branches, numerous Mani Gemstones and divine garments shimmered, emitting beams of golden light that cast an auspicious aura all around.

Hisss!

Mayu Mountain took a deep breath, his gaze intensifying, and he spoke in a measured tone.

"However..."

"If the Asura attacks and we are unable to stop him, all of the Heavenly Realm’s splendor, especially that Divine Tree, will likely be destroyed!"

Mayu Mountain spread his arms wide and said.

He clicked his tongue, squinting his eyes. "Why not dig up the ground beneath this Divine Tree and move it to a safe location?"

"When the Devas and the Asura battle and the Heavenly Emperor returns, he will surely need our help!"

"With the Divine Tree in our hands, when the Heavenly Emperor arrives, we can force his hand, make him actively help us break the curse, and then we can return the tree to him!"

"What say you?!"

Mayu Mountain proposed.

Beneath the Divine Tree resided Goddess Jyeshta, whom none of them could approach.

But they could dig up the earth beneath the tree, creating an isolated island, and as long as it was far enough, Jyeshta’s power would not reach them.

Boom!

Rumbling!

Within the seemingly calm words of Mayu Mountain, it was as if there were thunder buried, reverberating in the ears of the other mountains.

Minaga Mountain abruptly stepped forward, his eyes wide with disbelief, and he stared at Mayu Mountain.

"The Devas are absent!"

"If we move the Divine Tree, isn’t that theft?"
