Chapter 325 Arthur's Arrival

Meanwhile, those from the Southern Continent also arrived in the secret realm.

As expected by those who understood how these ancient spaces worked, they were all separated by the realm's transportation mechanism.

The spatial formation didn't discriminate between continents or power levels. Everyone was scattered randomly across the vast territory.

Arthur found himself standing alone on a vast mountain range with no end in sight. Jagged peaks stretched in every direction, disappearing into clouds and mist.

The mountains were massive, each one easily thousands of feet tall. The air here was thin and cold, carrying the bite of high altitude.

He stood on a rocky outcropping and surveyed his surroundings calmly. The wind whipped at his robes but he didn't move, his stance steady and unmoved.

Although he could have used one of his trump cards to prevent this separation, he hadn't bothered.

His space gem was powerful enough to create a localized spatial anchor that would have kept his group together during the transportation.

But why go through the trouble of doing that?

He had already used the fate gem secretly to check out the outcomes of everyone in his group. The golden gem had shown him glimpses of multiple possible futures. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

Many from the Southern Continent would perish in this journey, their threads of fate cutting short within this realm. That was simply the reality of such dangerous places.

But it was the same situation with those from the other continents. The secret realm didn't care about origin or background. Death would claim participants from all regions equally.

The visions had shown him bodies from every major power, scattered across different locations within the realm.

Those who were meant to survive would do so through their own power and fortune. Those who weren't ready would fall. Arthur had no intention of playing protector to people who couldn't handle the dangers here.

If only he could master the path of fate more deeply, he thought with mild frustration. Then he would have been able to get a much clearer view of all that would transpire in the secret realm.

Right now his understanding was still shallow, limited to fragmented glimpses and unclear possibilities. A true master of fate could see entire timelines with perfect clarity.

"No matter," Arthur said aloud to himself. His voice was calm and undisturbed. "My focus is that location. When it has been acquired, I will breakthrough immediately right there to the Martial Emperor Realm Peak."

He had already identified his primary target using the fate gem. There was a specific place deep within the realm, a location where what he needed waited.

His memories from his past life had shown him a chamber filled with concentrated energy, the kind of resource that could fuel multiple breakthrough attempts.

Arthur closed his eyes briefly and consulted the fate gem again.

Golden light flickered across his vision, invisible to anyone else who might have been watching. Threads of possibility stretched out before him, showing multiple paths forward.

There. He could see it clearly now. The location was to the east, deep within the realm's core territory.

It would take some time to reach, and the journey might be interesting. But the reward awaits his appearance.

He opened his eyes and began moving. With his speed it wouldn't take long.

His steps were measured and purposeful as he descended from the rocky outcropping. The terrain here was treacherous, with loose stones and steep drops, but Arthur moved across it easily. His cultivation base made such obstacles trivial.

The fate gem had also shown him something else. Other powers were moving toward that same location, drawn by their own methods of detection. There would be competition for the resource. Conflict was inevitable.

Arthur smiled slightly at the thought. Good. He welcomed the challenge. Those who thought they could compete with him for that treasure would learn otherwise soon enough.

The mountain range stretched before him, vast and imposing. Somewhere beyond those peaks, his destination waited.

The secret realm had claimed him too. And unlike the others who would waste time searching blindly, Arthur knew exactly where he needed to go.

His breakthrough to Martial Emperor Realm Peak was already certain. It was simply a matter of reaching that location and claiming what fate had already shown him belonged in his hands.

If anybody had heard Arthur's plans and what he just said aloud, they would be shocked beyond belief.

Breaking through cultivation realms was not something that happened quickly or easily. It required time, resources, careful preparation, and often months or even years of consolidation.

The higher the realm, the longer the process took.

Breakthrough to the Martial Emperor Realm Peak especially demanded immense effort. Most geniuses would need at least several months of focused cultivation in perfect conditions.

Some took years and these are the best of the best. Most actually spend decades to breakthrough a small realm.

The idea of breaking through on the spot, immediately after acquiring resources, was considered absurd and incomprehensible by conventional wisdom.

But if anyone also knew of the talents and abilities that Arthur possessed, they would not be able to argue against his claim.

In fact, they would be even more shocked to realize that breaking through to the peak of the Martial Emperor Realm in such a short amount of time would seem normal compared to what sort of freak Arthur truly was.

His cultivation speed defied all common sense. His comprehension abilities were beyond measure.

The resources and techniques he had access to were things most cultivators couldn't even dream of possessing.

Compared to his other achievements, a rapid breakthrough was actually quite ordinary for him.

But Arthur had more than just a simple breakthrough planned. His main goal here in this realm, in this Mortal Emperor Secret Realm, was far more ambitious than merely advancing his cultivation.

He intended to acquire all of the treasures of the Mortal Emperor that were hidden throughout this space.

This wasn't arrogance or blind ambition. Arthur had a significant advantage that nobody else could possibly possess.

The Mortal Emperor had been an incarnation of his past life.
