Zhang Yi stared at the grand door standing slightly ajar before him, slowly narrowing his eyes.

"I can feel it too."

They walked forward, and after passing through the doorway, they indeed spotted Fatty Xu.

And the members of the Knights of the Round Table as well.

Right now, the two groups were almost entirely gathered here, yet there was no sign of any of Garuda's Followers.

Both sides stared at each other, especially at the prisoners in each other's hands.

Besides Fatty Xu being restrained by two women from the other side, Zhang Yi also saw Chodak. As a squad leader-level superhuman, Chodak had followed Zhang Yi and the others here.

Well then, this was perfect. Both sides now held two prisoners from the other.

It seemed that in some ways, they had both thought along the same lines.

Lancelot looked at Zhang Yi with leisurely composure. "What a coincidence. I didn't expect us to meet again in the same place. And those Garuda bastards have vanished without a trace. Could this be another trap set by them?"

Zhang Yi's eyes flickered, and he quickly replied, "If he had such formidable ability, why would he wait until now?" 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

He swiftly grasped the truth of the situation and understood why Gao Changkong and the others weren't here. But there was no need to tell Lancelot.

From his Shadow Space, he released Mordred and Galahad.

"Let's exchange prisoners. I don't like wasting time."

Zhang Yi said flatly.

Lancelot sneered and waved his hand. "How convenient. We have the same number of prisoners."

Without any further nonsense, both sides cleanly injected the antidote into the prisoners, removed the self-destruct collars around their necks, and handed the prisoners over to the other party.

Fatty Xu looked at Zhang Yi with a face full of guilt and frustration, but Zhang Yi showed no sign of blaming him.

Given Fatty Xu's strength, the fact that he hadn't died here was entirely because the Knights of the Round Table had been wary of him.

After the prisoner exchange was complete, Lancelot said to Zhang Yi, "Don't you think this scene is a bit too coincidental?"

Zhang Yi replied, "I was thinking the same thing. Tell me your thoughts."

In this world, there weren't that many coincidences—only inevitability and deliberate human scheming.

If their two teams happened to cross paths occasionally, that would be one thing.

But they kept running into each other, kept clashing, and now they met here again—that was no coincidence at all.

Add to that the fact that Gao Changkong and his people weren't here, and Zhang Yi's conviction grew even stronger.

He didn't speak first but decided to ask for Lancelot's opinion.

Lancelot was silent for a moment before saying, "When we entered the palace, we encountered that Gatekeeper. He has spatial-type or rule-based abilities and banished us into this enormous hall. It seems random, but in truth, he can control the flow of this space, forcing us into contact with each other."

"Then, he uses the Divine Source to force us to fight."

"I don't know why Garuda's Followers aren't here. But if they were, they would definitely be experiencing the same situation as us."

He looked at Zhang Yi and smiled slightly. "He's making us kill each other to exhaust our strength!"

He spread his arms casually and said, "That's good news, isn't it? It means that, against us, they aren't strong enough to crush us outright."

Zhang Yi nodded. "I agree. But there's one thing that's worse."

Zhang Yi opened the terrain map of the Holy Spirit Hall drawn by his Smart System and shook his head helplessly.

"If he can control the space here and deliberately make us meet, then the map we currently have is fake. How do we get out of here?"

The Holy Spirit Hall was enormous, constructed with Barrier Stones, so they couldn't just blast through the walls to leave.

And if their opponent could freely manipulate the space here, they were like mice being toyed with in a maze—they might never find a way out or reach the upper levels of the Holy Spirit Hall.

Fatty Xu stood behind Zhang Yi, sneaking a glance at Agravain, his face showing signs of wanting to speak but holding back.

Zhang Yi didn't notice Fatty Xu's expression and continued conversing with Lancelot.

Lancelot spoke up, "There must be an exit. At least, we can remember the rooms we've each passed through. Since that's the case, let's split up and explore. As long as we don't fight each other, we save ourselves a lot of trouble."

Zhang Yi had no better idea either. Before he understood Baburu's ability, he could only find the way out using the most brute-force method.

"Alright, let's do that."

Zhang Yi was about to leave and search for the exit.

But at that moment, Fatty Xu tugged at his clothes.

"Boss..."

Zhang Yi looked at Fatty Xu in surprise, only to see him looking hesitant, with anxiety written all over his face, his eyes constantly darting toward the members of the Knights of the Round Table.

Zhang Yi followed his gaze and saw two female knights, each carrying an ancient book as tall as a person on their backs.

"What's wrong?"

Fatty Xu pointed at the book on Lamorak's back and said, "That book is mine! It's very important—I can't let them take it!"

"A book?"

That book was huge. Although Zhang Yi had noticed it, he hadn't paid much attention at first.

Fatty Xu quickly explained his earlier experience in the shortest time possible.

"Anyway, that's the lifelong work of an old scholar here. His notes might contain the ancient civilization records you've been looking for!"

Hearing this, Zhang Yi's gaze instantly turned serious.

The reason he had chosen to come to the Snowy Plateau in the first place was precisely for these ancient documents.

His goal was to understand the Gatekeeper of the Netherworld from Star Island and what the Serpent-folk beneath the Qinling Mountains really were.

All to face potential threats in the future.

The ancient "Epic of King Gesar" had already moved him deeply, let alone the Nasha Kingdom's documents with their even older civilization!

"Wait."

Zhang Yi called out to the Knights of the Round Table, who were about to leave.

Lancelot and the others turned back, frowning at Zhang Yi.

"What is it? Something else?"

Zhang Yi pointed at Lamorak. "She seems to have taken something that belongs to my friend. I need her to return it."

Hearing Zhang Yi's words, Lamorak immediately gripped the rapier at her waist, simultaneously shifting her body to shield the book.

They weren't stupid either—they understood the importance of this book.

They didn't have a spatial-type superhuman among them, so they couldn't take the entire library of the Nasha royal family. They had to find the most valuable documents to bring back.

These notes, the lifelong work of the Grand Scholar, were more precious to them than the Divine Source itself—an invaluable treasure!
