"I see that everyone has been working hard. And since we're about... 3/4 of the way to the end of this class, I shall let you all off early."

He rubbed his nose proudly as students seemed to whisper how glad they were.

"However, I may allow those who wish to spend the remaining time sparing here. Those who don't may leave early. This will be your last class for today."

Lillian breathed a sigh and stretched her back. She then looked towards Millis, who was already prepared to leave.

"Come on, Lil! Let's get out of here while we still have the ch—"

She tugged at Lillian's arm before feeling it leave her grasp. She looked back and saw Marionette had pulled Lillian away from her.

Lillian stared up at Marionette as she had her arms around her neck. She then shivered as she spoke into her ear in a breathy voice.

"You and I aren't leaving..."

"E-eh..."

Lillian stared at her with a deadpan face, "But what if I want to...?"

"No. Let's spar now."

"You're... quite adamant on making me spar with you... huh?"

Marionette nodded.

Lillian smiled nervously at her before glancing towards Millis to find her staring at them teasingly.

She then looked over to the Second Prince to find him surprisingly walking over to them.

She believed he would be one of the many to instantly leave when given the chance.

He then raised his hand and said:

"We can continue sparing if she doesn't want t—"

Millis then walked up to him and wrapped her arm around his neck.

"Hey~, buddy... how about we head out of here and check out the cafeteria? I'm sure ya don't wanna stand around here and swing ya sword willy-nilly now do ya?"

"Huh... what if I want to—"

"Nah! Come on! Let's go check out the academy's cafeteria!"

Lillian stared fearfully as Millis dragged Reph out of the Colosseum. Not only that but she noticed the smug look she got from Millis.

Was this her way of saying, "Screw you?"

She then scanned around and found that not even a single person other than them was inside the Colosseum.

Didn't any of them want to better their skills even a bit more!?

She trembled a bit once she felt Marionette's arms tighten around her a bit.

Marionette then leaned slightly towards her ear and whispered:

"Now it's just us... alone... even the teachers have left."

"Eh!? They left as well?!"

Marionette nodded and pointed around, "It seemed they're quite trusting of us..."

She then spun Lillian around and tilted her chin up. She stared intently into her eyes and asked:

"... So what was that about?"

"Huh? What was what?"

"... Millis..."

"Hm? What about her?" Lillian asked, innocently.

Marionette became silent for a bit before sighing.

"Nothing... now grip your sword. We will begin immediately."

"H-huh!? Aren't you going to at least let me—"

Before she could finish her sentence, Marionette swung her sword at her.

"Rough... you were way too rough with me, Marionette..."

Lillian groaned as she piggybacked her.

Marionette shrugged as she walked through the streets of the Bazaar.

The two garnered curious glances.

"It's to better your skills."

"Are you sure...? I feel like you were a lot rougher with me this ti—"

"That's just your imagination..."

Lillian sighed, "Is that so..." She rested her chin on Marionette's right shoulder and stared at her ear.

She then had a cheeky idea.

As Marionette continued to walk towards their dorm, she felt a subtle warm breeze blown into her ear.

She paused her movements and turned her head back at Lillian and found it was her doing.

"... What are you—"

Lillian grinned at her, "Hey~ beautiful..." she chimed in a playful manner.

Marionette stared strangely at her before turning her head back around and continued walking.

"... Don't... do that..." she said in a quiet voice.

"Hm~? Why not~?" Lillian teased, moving closer to her ear and tickling her ear with her breath.

She then stopped once she heard Marionette's request.

"... Could you let go of your arms for a moment?"

This left Lillian slightly confused but she did it nonetheless.

"Huh? Sure? Why—"

Before she knew it, her body fell as Marionette dropped her before being picked back up.

She glanced around and found her to be in Marionette's arms. She was now in a princess carry...

Marionette stared down at her, "If you can't behave on my back, you're going to have to be carried like this."

"W-woah! We're going to get a lot of stares y'know~..." Lillian said, looking around and noticing more gazes on them.

Marionette tilted her head at her, "Why should that matter? I'm sure they wouldn't mind the sight of me carrying around a rabbit to be an exciting scene."

"What's with you and calling me a rabbit now...?" Lillian's eyes twitched.

Marionette shrugged, "Because you are one."

"And how so? Last I remember I don't have ears like one."

"... you're as adorable as one."

"Eh...?"

Lillian's face heated up a bit as a blush became evident on her face.

"Tsk..." she clicked her tongue as she allowed Marionette to carry her.

They eventually arrived at the female dorm. It was at this point Lillian would assume Marionette would let her down.

"Can you let me down now...?"

Marionette stood at the elevator door and pressed the button for it to arrive. She then looked back down at Lillian and thought of a response.

"No."

"... And why not...?"

"Because it's better this way."

"... I just feel like you just want to hold me..."

Marionette stepped into the elevator that was somewhat packed and pressed the button for the ninth floor.

"And you would be right," she responded.

Lillian sighed and looked around, giving brief waves to the ladies, who stared at them.

However, she stopped doing this when she felt a certain gaze on her from Marionette.

She raised an eyebrow.

'What's that about?' she wondered, feeling this was out of character for the stoic assassin.
