Chapter 208: Chapter 208: Shattering the Aegis Wall, Orbital Annihilation

The Kentari Royal Armada was a burning, scattered graveyard drifting in the vacuum of space.

Lucifer’s three trillion Shadow Knights had ripped through the silver dreadnoughts like a scythe through wet parchment. The invisible, dark-matter cavalry didn’t leave survivors. They simply phased through the enemy hulls, butchered the crews, and left the massive ships as dark, floating coffins.

Lucifer stood on the high balcony of Zephyria, watching the slaughter.

He didn’t need to issue tactical commands. The *Viceroy of Shadows* title linked his will directly to the legion. They knew exactly what to do.

"The fleet is completely neutralized, Emperor," Sarah reported from the Spire, her cosmic eyes tracking the fading heat signatures of the Kentari ships. "The path to the Ringworld is clear of naval opposition."

"But not orbital opposition," Elara corrected, stepping up beside Lucifer. The Twilight Sovereign’s golden eyes narrowed as she looked at the colossal, dark metallic band encircling the dying red star in the distance.

The Kentari Dominion.

"The Ringworld is heavily fortified," Elara continued. "The ghost of Emperor Hindley told us the current regime is corrupt, but they still control the Precursor technology. They will not surrender just because we broke their boats."

Lucifer nodded smoothly. He tapped the comms rune.

"Celeste. Send the Phantom Rangers forward," Lucifer ordered. "I want a detailed scan of the Ringworld’s outer crust. Find the capital."

"Deploying scouts now, Grand Marshal," the High Ranger replied instantly.

A few minutes later, the holographic tactical map projected over the balcony shifted. The massive, circular structure of the Kentari Dominion came into sharp focus.

"We have a problem, Lucifer," Celeste’s voice crackled over the link. She didn’t sound panicked, just deeply annoyed. "The entire surface of the Ringworld is shielded. And it’s not a localized dome like Zephyria’s."

She highlighted a massive, shimmering layer of energy that completely encased the continent-sized structure.

[System Warning: Hostile Defense Grid Detected!]

[Name: Aegis of the Core (Mythic Barrier)]

[Status: Impenetrable. Designed to withstand planetary collisions.]

"It’s a continuous, unbroken energy wall," Celeste explained. "My scouts tried to phase through it with Void magic, but the barrier actively repels spatial distortion. It’s solid physical law. We can’t sneak past it."

"And we can’t shoot through it," Lyra added, stepping onto the balcony. The Dawn Saintess frowned at the hologram. "The Aegis Wall is older than the gods. It was built to survive supernovas. Standard artillery, even the Paladin-Mechs, won’t scratch it."

Lucifer didn’t frown. A cold, predatory smirk touched his lips.

"They built a very nice wall," Lucifer observed smoothly.

Before he could elaborate, the communication arrays on Zephyria were forcefully overridden.

A massive, holographic projection appeared just outside the Void-shield, exactly where Prince Phil’s image had been before Lucifer imploded his flagship.

This time, the projection was a group of older, heavily jeweled Kentari generals. They wore immaculate silver uniforms and stood in a grand, pristine war room that looked sickeningly similar to the one Lucifer had destroyed back in the human capital.

The lead general sneered down at the floating black mountain.

"You got lucky, terrestrial savage," the Kentari general announced, his voice dripping with arrogant, aristocratic disdain. "You destroyed a token fleet led by a foolish prince. But your little parlor tricks will not breach the Aegis of the Core. The Dominion is eternal."

The general laughed, a dry, mocking sound.

"We have locked the gates," the general continued. "You can sit out there in the cold vacuum and rot. When your life support fails, we will send the cleaning drones to scrape your frozen corpses off our shield."

The holographic projection cut out, leaving a blank sky.

Elara gripped her violet-flaming spear, her knuckles turning white. "I really hate politicians."

"They are predictable," Lucifer stated coldly. "They think a wall means safety. They think because we are outside, we are helpless."

He turned away from the railing.

"They don’t understand that walls just cluster the targets together," Lucifer said softly.

He didn’t order a full-scale assault. He didn’t tell Zephyria to ram the barrier.

Lucifer tapped his comms rune.

"Isolde," Lucifer commanded.

"I am ready, Emperor," the Dragon Queen hissed eagerly.

High above the central keep, the Winter Sovereign leaped from the battlements, instantly shifting into her colossal, Crystalline White Dragon true form. She swooped down, her massive, diamond-hard wings catching the atmospheric pressure inside the dome. She hovered perfectly level with Lucifer’s balcony.

Lucifer didn’t hesitate. He activated Zephyr’s Grace and vaulted over the railing, landing flawlessly between the massive crystal spikes at the base of her neck.

"Elara. Lyra. Hold the city," Lucifer ordered. "I am going to knock on the door."

"Knock hard," Elara smirked, spinning her spear.

Isolde roared. She didn’t wait for Vexia to open a gap in the planetary shield. The Royal Dragon was an allied entity; she phased cleanly through the pitch-black Void-shield and rocketed out into the silent vacuum of space.

Lucifer stood on her neck, the absolute cold of the cosmos washing over his dark armor. His Void Arcanist core effortlessly neutralized the environment.

"Take us to the capital, Sovereign," Lucifer commanded.

Isolde banked sharply. She didn’t fly gracefully; she launched herself with terrifying, explosive speed, tearing through the zero-gravity void directly toward the massive, glowing band of the Ringworld.

They crossed the distance in minutes.

The Kentari Dominion was staggering up close. The Aegis Wall shimmered with intense, blinding white energy, completely separating the cold vacuum of space from the artificial atmosphere inside the ring. Through the transparent barrier, Lucifer could see the sprawling, hyper-advanced metropolis of the Kentari capital.

Towering, sleek silver spires reached toward the barrier. Massive hover-ships navigated invisible traffic lanes. It was a utopia built on ancient technology.

And lining the edge of the Aegis Wall, pointing directly out into space, were thousands of massive, heavy orbital cannons.

The automated defense grid registered the approaching dragon instantly.

The massive cannons swiveled upward, locking onto Isolde.

"They are tracking us, Warlord!" Isolde warned, her draconic voice vibrating through the scales beneath Lucifer’s boots. "The Aegis Wall is impenetrable, and those cannons fire concentrated anti-matter. I cannot dodge ten thousand shots in a straight line!"

"You don’t have to dodge," Lucifer stated smoothly.

He didn’t draw a sword. He didn’t cast a spell.

He opened his Dimensional Vault.

Lucifer reached into the dark spatial rift and pulled out the heavy, glowing iron crate he had received from the ghost of Emperor Hindley during the military trial.

[Item: Nova-Bombs (Mythic Consumable)]

[Quantity: 100,000]

[Status: Armed upon impact.]

He didn’t take one bomb out. He grabbed the entire crate.

"Fly directly over the center of their command sector," Lucifer commanded.

"I will be flying straight down the barrel of their entire grid!" Isolde roared in protest, but the system contract enforced her compliance. The massive white dragon pulled out of her evasive maneuvers and dove straight down toward the glowing barrier, flying directly into the crosshairs of ten thousand orbital cannons.

The cannons fired.

Thousands of blinding, destructive beams of anti-matter ripped through the vacuum, tearing the space around them.

Lucifer didn’t flinch.

He held the heavy iron crate of Nova-Bombs over the edge of the dragon’s neck.

"System," Lucifer commanded, his void-swirling eyes locking onto the impenetrable Aegis Wall directly below them.

He had tested the limits of the Apex Multiplier before. He had used it to vaporize mountains and shatter gods. But he had never used it on a hundred thousand Mythic-tier nuclear explosives simultaneously.

"Apply the Apex Multiplier," Lucifer whispered. "Ten thousand times."

[Divine Talent: Apex Multiplier Activated!]

[Applying 10,000x multiplier to Explosive Yield...]

[Warning: Planar Devastation Imminent.]

Lucifer dropped the crate.

The heavy iron box plummeted toward the glowing barrier, falling directly into the path of the incoming anti-matter barrage.

"Pull up!" Lucifer roared.

Isolde didn’t need to be told twice. The Winter Sovereign violently snapped her massive wings backward, executing a bone-crushing, high-G vertical climb. She rocketed away from the wall with terrifying, desperate speed.

The crate hit the Aegis Wall.

One hundred thousand Mythic-tier nuclear explosives, their destructive yield multiplied ten thousand times, detonated exactly at the same millisecond.

There was no sound in the vacuum of space.

But the visual was apocalyptic.

A blinding, pure white flash of absolute, unadulterated annihilation erased the stars. The explosion was so bright it turned the pitch-black void of space into a flawless white canvas for a fraction of a second.

The Aegis Wall, the impenetrable, Mythic-tier energy barrier designed to withstand planetary collisions, did not crack. It simply evaporated.

The explosion didn’t stop at the shield.

The massive, spherical shockwave of superheated plasma and raw, multiplied kinetic force slammed down onto the surface of the Ringworld.

It completely vaporized a five-hundred-mile section of the impenetrable barrier. The ten thousand heavy orbital cannons were instantly melted into glowing slag. The hyper-advanced, silver spires of the Kentari capital’s outer districts were flattened like dry grass under a boot. A colossal cloud of burning dust, shattered metal, and superheated atmosphere blew out into the vacuum of space.

Isolde hovered high above the blast zone, panting heavily. The shockwave had buffeted her diamond scales, but she was safely out of the immediate vaporization radius.

The Winter Sovereign looked down at the massive, gaping, smoking hole Lucifer had just blown into the side of an indestructible continent.

She let out a low, rumbling purr of absolute, profound satisfaction.

"That," Isolde hissed, a terrifying, bloodthirsty smile spreading across her draconic face, "was a very big rock."

"The door is open," Lucifer stated smoothly, resting his hand casually on the pommel of his ruby-red sword. The Carnage Core pulsed violently, gorging on the massive influx of death energy from the vaporized defense forces.

He tapped his comms rune.

"Zephyria," Lucifer commanded. "Move in."

Miles away, the massive black mountain surged forward, gliding smoothly toward the smoking, five-hundred-mile breach in the Ringworld’s defenses.

"The shield is gone, Warlord," Celeste reported over the link, her voice tight with awe. "The capital is completely exposed."

"Let’s go say hello to the royal family," Lucifer said softly, a cold smirk touching his lips.
