Chapter 106: Sweet Melody
If Yexue had her way, she’d take her time with Ru Yi and worship her body like a lost relic. She wanted to listen all night long to the melody that slipped out of Ru Yi’s lips.
But she couldn’t slow down, not when there was too much between them—frustration, relief, something long held back finally breaking free.
Time blurred as Yexue pumped her fingers in and out of Ru Yi with maddening speed. It conveyed all the feelings Yexue could never fully translate into words. How every look at Ru Yi almost drove her to ruin.
Ru Yi raised her hips, meeting every thrust with the same intensity. She felt like she was being torn apart from the inside out.
"Fuck!" Ru Yi screamed when Yexue added a third finger, everything around blurring in and out of focus. She’d never felt anything this good in her entire life.
"Do you like that?" Yexue whispered against her ear with a wicked grin. "You little greedy thing." She bit the outer shell of Ru Yi’s ear which made her whimper.
Yexue leaned in completely, pressing their body together with her fingers still between them. She rocked her hips forward which made her fingers hit deeper into Ru Yi, her insides warm and slippery.
Ru Yi clung on for dear life, screaming into Yexue’s shoulder. She tried to move away, to pull Yexue’s fingers away before they could permanently destroy her insides.
But Yexue held her tighter, forcing her to take it all. "You begged for this, didn’t you?" she teased, biting into the crevice of her neck, overcome with the sudden need to make Ru Yi as hers forever.
"Yexue..." Ru Yi needed to breathe, to find a release for the fire that kept building inside of her. Every nerve in her body was overcome with the electricity that Yexue sent bolting through her body.
"Please..." she could feel the tears gathering in the corner of her eyes.
"What are you begging for this time?" Yexue asked in a teasing voice. She took one of Ru Yi’s nipples back in her mouth, grazing her teeth softly against it.
"I...I..." all of Ru Yi’s senses were heightened as she felt herself getting to the peak. "I think I’m going to—" her entire body shook from, jumbled words flowing out of her with no meaning.
Yexue pressed the pad of her thumb on the slick bundle of nerves right above Ru Yi’s opening and instantly set off the fireworks in Ru Yi’s body.
Ru Yi climaxed with a scream, her legs shaking from the force of her release. Yexue held her through all of it, smiling as she watched her little lamb fall apart completely under her.
She pushed Ru Yi’s hair away from her forward, thrusting her fingers for a couple more times before pulling it out of Ru Yi.
Yexue didn’t know which one was hotter—Ru Yi responding to her every touch, or the bite marks that were slowly forming bruises on Ru Yi’s slick neck and chest.
Mine.
She was all mine.
Ru Yi felt her body go slack from exhaustion, the image of Yexue in front of her blurred in and out of focus. She was thoroughly spent, all her senses no longer belonging to her.
Yexue tilted her head to the side as she watched Ru Yi watch her. She brought her fingers, slick and wet...then pushed them past her lips, tasting Ru Yi.
A gasp fell from Ru Yi, she’d never seen anything more hot or erotic. "Yexue..."
"Do you want to know how you taste?" Yexue asked, then bent down before Ru Yi could answer and kissed her senseless.
When Yexue pulled away she was smiling. "I should clean you up."
Ru Yi almost protested when Yexue left the bed, wincing at the loss of contact. But soon enough she came with a bowl and cloth. She watched Yexue clean her up with utmost care, like she was something fragile that could easily break.
"Let me go bring your dinner," Yexue said when she was done with cleaning both of them. "I asked the innkeeper to prepare roast duck and braised pork belly. I didn’t know which one you’d like better so I bought both of them."
The smile on Ru Yi’s face was the most genuine expression she’d worn in a long while. "Thank you. I’m really grateful."
Yexue paused close to the door. "There’s no need to thank me. I’m just taking care of what’s mine."
Ru Yi screamed into the bed when Yexue shut the door after her. She was saying all the right things, no wonder Ru Yi was growing too fond of her.
Being taken care of in such a delicate manner was something she could only wish for in the past. Growing up without a family, affection was very much lacking in her life. And now...
Yexue was giving her all of that and more. She’d been so lost in thoughts she didn’t hear Yexue come back into the room.
"Are you alright?" Yexue asked. "Did I hurt you?"
That snapped Ru Yi out of it. "No, of course not." Her cheeks reddened with embarrassment. "I just— what we did—"
Yexue sat beside her on the bed and kissed her temple. "Don’t think too much about it. I’ll take responsibility for your feelings if that’s what you’re worried about."
"It’s not..." Ru Yi sighed. "I know I said I wanted you to help me forget everything..." she bit down on her lower lip. "I just want to know if we have to go back to acting normal after what we just did."
"Normal?" Yexue was confused. She put her hands on Ru Yi’s face. "Nothing has ever been normal between the two of us. From the moment I saved you till now."
"Yexue..."
"The only story between us is how you’ve always belonged to me Ru Yi. And I think a part of you knows it too." She put her thumb on Ru Yi’s lower lip. "Tell me you need me as much as I need you."
Ru Yi’s heart thudded in her chest. The feelings building inside of her threatened to swallow her whole. "Yexue..."
When Yexue looked up there were tears in her eyes. "Tell me you want me." She kissed Ru Yi once. "Give me a reason to live, give me a reason to fight for a future with us in it."
