Chapter 512: Chapter 466: Yuebai’s Diary (Bonus Premium Thank-You Chapter 8)

[Bing Shen, Year of the Monkey, September 11th]

Misjudged this. I should have taken the Transmission Array directly to the Thousand Lakes Forest Sea below Cuiyun Ridge. I thought the name Thousand Lakes Forest Sea was metaphorical, but it turns out to be literal.

The Thousand Lakes Forest Sea truly does have a thousand lakes of varying sizes!

It’s too vast. I’ve been inside for over half a month; although I haven’t lost my way, it feels like I can’t get out anytime soon.

Bai Jiuyou is left in the Lotus Platform Cave Heaven, practicing the improved "Barbarian God Skill" and "Golden Snake Sword Palm" daily.

These two cultivation techniques took me nearly half a year to grasp, but Bai Jiuyou practiced them only once.

Even though I’m not a genius, my aptitude improved gradually, but in the Earth Spiritual Realm, I’m already a top talent, unmatched by others. Yet compared to the Chaos Sacred Body, I seem like a nobody.

With equal comprehension, Bai Jiuyou is naturally faster at learning. After all, it’s still me, so I won’t be jealous of myself. It just feels a bit peculiar.

It’s a good thing, really. Bai Jiuyou learning first, breaking through the challenges, makes it more efficient when I learn afterward.

Moreover, with the Chaos Sacred Body, he can learn everything. Previously feared Demon Dao cultivation techniques can now be experienced by Bai Jiuyou, where I can find usable parts for myself.

For future improvements and fusions of cultivation techniques, Bai Jiuyou can test first, ensuring there are no issues; adjust the details, and then I will learn it.

The current fusion of the Five Elements Magical Techniques can be assigned to Bai Jiuyou.

And those medium to low-quality dragon bones should all be refined by Bai Jiuyou into Dragon Armor Puppets. For previous escape purposes, I emptied my stock, and thinking back, it still hurts.

It’s better to accumulate Dragon Armor Puppets early. With enough, they can easily kill a group of people.

I need to start focusing on refining the Breaking Calamity Elixir for reaching Nascent Soul, as almost all the Spirit Stones I have left have been spent on medicinal materials.

Now, I’m truly broke!

Today, I finally managed to craft an alchemy furnace; the material used was Fire Dragon Bone. It doesn’t quite look like a cauldron, more like a frying pan, but strangely, this design heats more evenly, and the elixirs form faster, possibly due to the effects of the Fire Dragon Bone.

Lately, I’ve been going through the Jade Scrolls Anan gave me, along with books about the Candle Dragon I bought in Stone Gate City.

The six fragments in my possession aren’t Candle Dragon bones; it’s said the Candle Dragon’s bones appear white during the day and black at night.

I felt around Bai Jiuyou, and she didn’t have any missing bones. Who knows what kind of bone this is.

Heading southwest, uncertain when I’ll break through the Thousand Lakes Forest Sea to reach the Qingcang Mountain Range where Fulong Sect is located.

The Mahayana Immortal Monarch of Biyou Palace controls the last Azure Dragon of the Green Dragon Realm, while Fulong Sect confines the last two Azure Dragons of the Green Dragon Realm.

The Key Jade Talisman from the Big Dog Thief is still in my hand. If I’m not mistaken, he is a disciple of the Fulong Sect. Since it’s on the way, I might as well check it out.

A few days ago, while passing by Spiritual Rock Lake, I saw two disciples of the True Martial Immortal Sect on a journey, one wielding a spear with techniques reminiscent of the little dog thief.

It wouldn’t be surprising if that little dog thief is a disciple of the True Martial Immortal Sect. I’ll need to remind Xie Jingshan later.

The remains of the Nine-Headed Flood Dragon have finally been dismantled by Bai Jiuyou and me, collecting plenty of skin, flesh, blood, and bones.

Refining the essence blood from the blood requires specific methods for a higher success rate, much like when I used Beast Soul to refine Primordial Essence years ago.

Fortunately, the method is easily obtainable; using a Flower Spiritual Stone will do. Dragon Shepherds of the Fulong Two Veins often collect various Dragon Bloods and refine essence blood.

The Green Dragon Essence Blood acquired by the Huntian Demon Head back then was likely refined using this method.

Additionally, I discovered that the six fragments I have seem to be from the Nine-Headed Flood Dragon.

In the spinal bones of the Nine-Headed Flood Dragon, I found nine different Dragon Spine Bones. I speculate that the Nine-Headed Flood Dragon was an artificial variant created by Zhur Jiuyou.

Taking sections of Nine Dragon Spine Bones and implanting them into the Nine-Headed Flood Dragon, feeding it with Nine Dragon Essence Blood to grant it the power of all Nine Great Divine Dragons.

The six fragments indeed overlap with sections of the nine spine bones. To cultivate the "Dragon God Transformation," I now have two choices.

One is to begin cultivation using the Candle Dragon Spine Bone among the nine.

The other is to gamble and start with the six fragments.

The Candle Dragon Spine Bone is undoubtedly the strongest, and I have the nine sections of the Nine-Headed Flood Dragon’s body, including parts evolving towards a Candle Dragon. Its scales, bones, and blood can be refined into essence blood for sustaining a period of cultivation. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

The downside is, should the stockpile be insufficient for the final layer of the "Dragon God Transformation," which requires a Dragon Soul, pursuing a Candle Dragon later is nearly impossible.

Starting with the six fragments considers the Nine-Headed Flood Dragon’s inherent bloodline, its perfect fit for Nine Dragon Spine Bones and Nine Dragon Essence Blood, and its prolonged survival suggests an innate uniqueness in its bloodline.

Using this to initiate the cultivation of "Dragon God Transformation," chances are high I can use scales, bones, and essence blood from all dragons for continued cultivation, leading to qualitative changes akin to essence blood refinement.

I’m currently undecided and will ponder a few more days.

Tonight’s heavy rain brings unease. In such a vast Thousand Lakes Forest Sea, there must be a workshop for rest, surely?

I’ll search and see!

[Bing Shen, Year of the Monkey, November 20th]

I stayed for a few days in a workshop by Qingyu Lake. The workshop is small, without an Immortal Alliance base, and communication isn’t possible here.

Today, I finally saw a real Dragon Shepherd, a Golden Core Master from the Fulong Sect, driving three dragons with Rune Lock Chain as he swiftly passed over the workshop, looking majestic.

This workshop has numerous Loose Cultivators specializing in dragon hunting and shepherding, venturing into the forest daily to track dragons.

Though far from the West Sea, the ongoing war there still impacts this place; the most evident effect is the soaring prices for all kinds of dragons, even flood dragon prices have surged significantly.

Dragon Shepherds rely heavily on dragons for combat; without dragons, they’re like amputees.

In retrospect, I’m fortunate the Big Dog Thief didn’t bring a dragon to kill me earlier; otherwise, I would have died at our first encounter.

I inquired about the Soul-Shaking Stone in the workshop, but none of the local businesses had heard of it. However, someone mentioned a Spirit Fruit with a similar purpose, called Soul Infant Fruit.

This fruit grows in the forests near Mochou Lake, under the domain of the Grass Dragon.

They say the Grass Dragon isn’t particularly powerful, yet in the Thousand Lakes Forest Sea, it’s uniquely advantaged, elusive, and hard to eradicate. Like an earthworm, it can regenerate from segments.

Thus, cultivators least prefer to hunt Grass Dragons as they’re too troublesome!

I purchased a map; Mochou Lake is to the north, requiring a slight backtrack.

The Soul-Shaking Stone is crucial for me. If the Soul Infant Fruit indeed possesses nearly identical effects as claimed, then visiting Mochou Lake is worthwhile.

At the same time, I’ll see if my long-practiced "Dragon Herding Song" can capture a dragon.

Lately, I am so broke that even as a Golden Core Master, I can’t ignore low-level spiritual medicines and fruits encountered along the way. In the woods, I chop every few trees and throw them into the Heaven-Swallowing Cauldron.

I must quickly find a way to earn Spirit Stones; otherwise, I can’t even afford the method to refine essence blood.

Nearing Mochou Lake, I encountered a Dragon Hunting Squad in a fierce battle in the forest.

Let’s take a look; hopefully, I can pick up some leftovers!
