The rescue team unloaded five lifeboats from their vehicles. They started by transporting some emergency supplies across. Fortunately, the horizontal distance to the mountain on the other side wasn’t far; a round trip took only about twenty minutes. As darkness began to fall, the rescue team received a request for help from Quincy Manor. They needed manpower, so a small detachment was dispatched to provide support on Mount Garlan.
When Claire Sinclair heard the news, she hurried to the front lines. Before the support team could depart, she pulled Captain Shaw aside. "Captain Shaw, I want to go with you. Is that okay?"
Captain Shaw looked troubled. "Reporter Sinclair, the conditions over there are infinitely worse than here. Let me put it this way: it’s all heavy manual labor, men’s work. There are almost no women there, and they don’t even have tents to sleep in. If you go, not only will you be unable to help, you might just get in the team’s way. You see..."

"Fine, I’ll take it for you." After saying this, Captain Shaw turned and left.
Claire Sinclair breathed a sigh of relief and turned to go back and help.
