"Giving me your Sharingan? How can you give something that's grown on your body…" Suddenly, Jiang Xinyu's expression changed dramatically, her eyes widening with horror.

"Don't you dare!"

"Uh?"

"I will never allow you to hurt yourself. Are you thinking of gouging out your eye to give to me?"

"You're overthinking it," Wang Lan said with a slight startle, then chuckled.

Back when he watched Fire Shadow, taking an eye indeed seemed to involve physically removing it, but that was theft, not a willing gift. To give it willingly, one only needed to transfer the Eye Power.

"It's not that terrifying. I'm just going to give you the Eye Power, okay?" Wang Lan reached out, lifting Jiang Xinyu's chin, their eyes met, deep with emotion.

Suddenly, the pinwheels in Wang Lan's eyes began to spin violently, the speed of the left eye's pinwheel increasing rapidly. However, soon the color of the pinwheel faded more and more, until it turned into pitch-black pupils.

In Jiang Xinyu's left eye, red emerged, and a pinwheel appeared within her pupil.

"That's it?"

"Did you think it would be complex?" Wang Lan said with a light laugh. "Now, go out and transport supplies. Divine Might Space is a completely independent space; no matter where you are, you can put things into Divine Might Space, and then I can immediately take them out from here."

"Alright. Be careful."

Jiang Xinyu's figure flashed, vanishing into a streak of light. With Yulia controlling the Holy Grail and the Genesis Bible to withstand the attacks from the Demon Cocoon above, it wasn't too difficult, leaving Wang Lan quite at ease.

Moreover, Wang Lan didn't need to operate the missile vehicles himself, making him, in fact, the most idle person there.

「Five hours later,」

Wang Lan felt a slight tremor in Divine Might Space. Hurriedly opening the space, rocket launchers began to appear on the open ground. It seemed Jiang Xinyu had successfully reached the outside world and utilized the Power of Space to return to the Jade Country.

"All warriors who have completed their combat missions, assemble. I will send you back," Wang Lan announced.

Wang Lan and Jiang Xinyu acted as two ends of a spatial portal. Entering from Wang Lan's side allowed instantaneous appearance on Jiang Xinyu's side. This also enabled the transmission of real-time updates from the battlefield in Heaven. This time, war correspondents had even accompanied the missile troops.

This ensured a guarantee for subsequent support. The entire world could provide continuous firepower support to the Heaven battlefield.

Time passed, minute by minute.

「Before they knew it, another day and night had gone by.」

Less than twenty hours remained until the day foretold in the Genesis Bible. After relentless nuclear bombardment, the Demon Cocoon's pervasive influence had been pushed back, now only covering the sky immediately around it.

The Demon Cocoon, too, was no longer as impervious as it had been. With each hit, it would contract slightly, as if it were the beating of a heart.

"Target locked."

"The target has been locked."

"Fire!"

BOOM—

Columns of smoke shot into the sky, tracing serpentine paths as they rushed towards the Demon Cocoon.

"You bastards—"

A furious roar suddenly resonated, shaking the heavens and the earth. Hearing this frustrated outburst, a smile appeared on Wang Lan's face. If the enemy was already resorting to frustrated curses, then they were definitely on the right track and must persist.

BOOM, BOOM, BOOM—

Suddenly, a dozen or so nuclear missiles exploded in mid-air. They hadn't even reached the Demon Cocoon; why did they detonate prematurely? As the smoke and dust gradually dissipated, the Demon Cocoon in the sky began to writhe violently.

It was as if a repulsive worm was slowly emerging from the cocoon.

The writhing protrusion took on a humanoid form, gradually squirming its way out of the Demon Cocoon. Suddenly, a bulging part of the Demon Cocoon split open, and disgusting viscous fluid splattered out, revealing the face of a young man with white hair within it.

"The Archbishop of Thunder!" Yulia's face darkened as she spoke with gravity.

"Wang Lan, Saintess! I told you, even if I have died, I will still be reborn in Heaven," the Archbishop of Thunder said as he broke free from the cocoon, his back suddenly sprouting three pairs of black wings. He assumed an avian form, gliding through the sky.

"All of you, go to hell."

The Archbishop of Thunder spread his hands, and terrifying Thunder Power coalesced at his fingertips. Instantly, a huge ball of thunder formed in the hands of the Archbishop of Thunder. If he were to unleash it, the rocket launchers below would surely suffer heavy damage.

"Wind Capturing Net—"

Wang Lan clapped his hands together. A cyan Array materialized before him, then erupted outwards, forming a terrifying, cutting net of wind. The Wind attribute counters the Thunder attribute. In particular, the cutting properties of wind blades can sever the energy connections within Thunder-attribute Star Power, neutralizing its discharge.

The Archbishop of Thunder above clearly hadn't anticipated such a maneuver from Wang Lan and was instantly sliced across by the Wind Capturing Net. The lightning in his grasp, disrupted by the wind net, immediately collapsed and vanished.

However, the Archbishop of Thunder's Fallen Angel's Body was extremely tough; even after being struck by the Wind Capturing Net, he was merely sent flying backward.

Wang Lan's figure flashed. Already clad in his gleaming white Saint Cloth and Zanpakuto in hand, he charged at the Archbishop of Thunder, unleashing a slash that seemed capable of sundering the very heavens.

"Wang Lan—"

The Archbishop of Thunder's hand also instantly produced a long knife, clashing blades with Wang Lan.

CLANG—

However, as Wang Lan's intangible form phased past the Archbishop of Thunder, he instantly solidified and swung his blade backward.

CLANG—

The Zanpakuto shattered on impact, but not before gouging a deep wound in the Archbishop of Thunder's back.

"You!" roared the Archbishop of Thunder in shock and fury, his figure flashing as he retreated explosively. Having become a Six-winged Angel, his strength was theoretically overwhelming for anyone in this world, but unexpectedly, he was defeated with a single move by Wang Lan.

He possessed a powerful physique but lacked the spirit to command it—a perfect description for the likes of the Archbishop of Thunder. Having surrendered his soul to Lucifer, he was reborn alongside him with a Fallen Angel's Body, yet he had still not mastered its power.

The regenerative capabilities of the Fallen Angel's Body were indeed freakish; the wound from Wang Lan's sword healed with astonishing speed.

"You deserve to die—" The Archbishop of Thunder, furious, transformed into a stream of light, unleashing a punch carrying the might of Thunder Power toward Wang Lan. His terrifying fist passed through Wang Lan's intangible body. The sheer force of the blow whipped up a hurricane, instantly devastating the verdant grasslands of Heaven.

"Swastika, Judgment of Light."

In the instant Wang Lan phased past the Archbishop of Thunder, a blinding radiance erupted from behind the Archbishop. A colossal Heavenly Sword, imbued with the crushing weight of Mount Tai, slammed down hard onto his back.

The Archbishop of Thunder fell from the sky, and with a resounding crash, a huge crater appeared on the ground, pinning the Archbishop of Thunder, spread-eagled, to the crater floor.

"Fallen Angel? Hmph!" Wang Lan spat disdainfully, raising both hands. Converging Star Power instantly coiled and amassed, forming a brilliant crimson Tail Beast Jade in Wang Lan's palm. It then became a meteor, smashing down violently.

BOOM—

The second impact was even more terrifying, shattering the ground, not merely cracking it, but blasting it apart. The enormous crater looked as if a pair of colossal hands had ripped the earth asunder, thrusting it to either side. The earth churned, and the depth of the crater exceeded a hundred meters.

GAH—

The Archbishop of Thunder lying at the bottom of the crater suddenly spat out a mouthful of black blood. If Wang Lan's previous sword strike had merely been a flesh wound, this explosive attack had left the Archbishop of Thunder grievously injured.

But the Archbishop of Thunder still was not dead, which caused Wang Lan, hovering in the sky, to frown slightly. The attack with the Tail Beast Jade was already the strongest attack Wang Lan could muster. To withstand such a blow head-on, without any defense, and not be reduced to ash, not annihilated? Not even killed?

For truly supreme powerhouses, injuries didn't necessarily equate to a significant loss of strength. Take himself, for instance: an enemy either had to kill him outright, or his combat effectiveness would remain at its peak. The terrifying regenerative abilities of a Fallen Angel were much the same.

This wasn't a simple case of 'if one attack fails, try another.' This successful strike was purely due to the element of surprise. Once the Archbishop of Thunder deciphered his tactics and found his rhythm, forget defeating him—Wang Lan would be hard-pressed even to preserve his own life.

Without any hesitation, Wang Lan's figure turned into a stream of light and rushed towards the ground. The Archbishop of Thunder was unsteadily attempting to rise. Just as he managed to sit up, a piercing aura descended from the sky.

The Archbishop of Thunder slowly raised his head; Wang Lan's form transformed into a harsh streak of light, slamming into him.

SQUELCH—

With the sound of flesh being pierced, the Archbishop of Thunder's mouth flew open, spraying a mist of blood.

The Zanpakuto stabbed fiercely into the Archbishop of Thunder's chest, pinning him to the ground.

"This should be enough to kill you, right?" Wang Lan pressed down hard on the Zanpakuto, his gaze solemn as he growled.

SNAP—

Suddenly, the Archbishop of Thunder's hand shot out like a thunderbolt, clamping onto Wang Lan's wrist. "Caught you."

BOOM—

A single punch sent Wang Lan hurtling skyward. The Zanpakuto was torn from his grasp, tumbling high into the air.

"Wang Lan—" Yulia exclaimed in alarm, calling out urgently.

Wang Lan's figure paused, his body's light flickering. His distorted features were visibly and rapidly mending. Flicking away a few droplets of blood, Wang Lan's expression became even graver.

Not having defeated him in one go meant he was now in for a tough battle. Wang Lan glanced up at the Demon Cocoon. It was barely holding on under the nuclear onslaught, but the attacks seemed to have no further effect on its final remnants.

Suddenly, from within the crater, a powerful and terrifying presence erupted, black flames entwining around the Archbishop of Thunder's body. The Archbishop of Thunder slowly rose into the air, his wounds healing rapidly.

"Indeed, for someone who could contend with my Master, I nearly capsized in a gutter. However, in the face of absolute power, all cunning and trickery are just futile. The power I now command surpasses any point after the Master broke his seal."

Instantly, terrifying black lightning erupted around the Archbishop of Thunder, weaving itself into a colossal black net that blanketed the sky.

CRACKLE—

Innumerable bolts of black lightning lanced towards Wang Lan. How fast is lightning? He had no time to dodge; his only recourse was to endure them with his phasing ability.

But the endless torrent of lightning relentlessly hammered Wang Lan's intangible form, engulfing him within a cocoon woven from black lightning.

"Wang Lan—" Yulia cried out again in alarm. Gritting her teeth, she manipulated the Genesis Bible to unleash a divine radiance. Like a keen blade, it sliced through the dense cocoon of lightning, allowing Wang Lan to escape.

His phasing ability only lasted for five minutes. If he couldn't break free within that time, he would have to bear the full brunt of this terrifying assault. He had attacked the Archbishop of Thunder numerous times to little avail; however, a single one of the Archbishop's attacks could prove fatal.
