Chapter 104: Chapter 104: Tycoon’s Cultivation Method

In her vision, specks of milky-white worldly energy swarmed toward him, gradually entering his body and disappearing from sight.

Su Yue made an internal judgment. ’Such an affinity for worldly energy... it’s not considered low even among prodigies.’

By now, the sky had completely brightened. The first rays of sunlight shone upon the world as the yang energy returned, and the sun was about to rise. Su Yue stared with rapt attention at Yu Fei’s every move, a glint of gold flashing in her eyes.

She had activated her Golden Gaze!

The world in Su Yue’s eyes resolved into finer detail. The milky-white worldly energy transformed into motes of multicolored particles, and Yu Fei’s body gradually faded from her sight, leaving only the circulation of his bright red Qi Blood.

The instant the great sun crested the horizon, a special stream of purple energy descended from the distant sky. It entered Yu Fei’s mouth and nose, joining the tempering cycle of his Qi Blood. After one complete revolution, his body had fully absorbed the stream of qi.

Through her Golden Gaze, she saw Yu Fei’s Qi Blood become a trace more active and pure. His body emitted a faint, clear radiance, which vanished after a single breath.

"This is... the embryonic form of some unknown treasured body!" Su Yue murmured to herself, the golden light in her eyes flaring as she carefully observed Yu Fei’s condition.

"There’s no mistake. Under the influence of that purple energy, his blood has taken on a trace of a yang attribute, giving it a faint ability to dispel evil. What’s more, this characteristic is slowly spreading outward from his blood to the rest of his body."

After confirming Yu Fei’s condition, the golden light in Su Yue’s eyes faded. She looked at him as if she had discovered a hidden treasure.

Generally speaking, a Martial Artist’s body maintains a balance of the five elements and rarely leans toward a single one. Whether one cultivates a treasured body in the third realm or practices an elemental Cultivation Technique in the Inner Qi Realm, it is all in preparation to completely master elemental powers later in the Inner Qi Realm.

But Yu Fei could absorb elemental power without risk, starting from the very first realm. This meant his future path would be much smoother, and his foundation far more solid.

Based on what Su Yue had just observed, although the amount of purple Flame Yang Qi produced at sunrise was minuscule, its essence was incomparably pure. If accumulated over time, it would be no weaker than some of the special Gang Qi found in the world.

After finishing one round of his stance practice, Yu Fei had completely digested the Supreme Yang Flame Qi. He didn’t continue cultivating, as he was still thinking about the supplementary resources Su Yue had prepared for him.

Just then, Su Yue said excitedly, "I don’t know the reason for this yet, but it’s incredibly beneficial for you. I need to go back and do some research."

"Alright!" Yu Fei wasn’t actually concerned. ’This ability came from the blue-tier talent, Three Yang True Blood, which I’ve already fused with. It originally belonged to a rooster from the market; it’s not a talent humans are supposed to have anyway.’

’The only reason I even mentioned it was so I could see the sunrise while practicing my stances.’

Su Yue checked the orientation of the building and said to Yu Fei, "You can cultivate in the training room for now. I’m going to make some modifications to ensure nothing blocks the sunlight at sunrise."

The processed Cloud Whale Fat emitted a faint, clear, and invigorating fragrance. The lit Concentration Incense constantly restored Yu Fei’s spirit. With the help of all these supplementary resources, Yu Fei immediately felt the difference as he began to cultivate.

He made a quick mental calculation. ’The worldly energy I’m absorbing from a single round of stance practice is nearly four times what it was before! And the more I practice, the more energized I feel.’ His body greedily absorbed the energy, which slowly merged into his blood.

Through her Golden Gaze, Su Yue could see Yu Fei’s Qi Blood emitting a soft glow. Its color grew even more vibrant and was brimming with vitality.

In less than an hour, he began to feel an aching, swelling pain throughout his body.

Su Yue’s voice sounded beside him. "That’s enough. Stop for now and take the medicinal bath to recover your body’s condition!"

Jia Yun led Yu Fei to a quiet room. Inside was a massive bathtub, which appeared to have a heating function. After confirming the temperature was exactly 75°C, Jia Yun left.

The room was filled with a strong herbal scent, and the tub was filled to the brim with a grayish-brown liquid.

Yu Fei didn’t waste any time. He stripped down and submerged himself in the liquid.

’HISS~ So hot!’

If he weren’t a Martial Artist, he never would have been able to withstand such a high temperature.

He adjusted his position, lying back and sinking his entire body into the medicinal solution, leaving only his nostrils above the surface.

He could feel some kind of substance continuously entering his body through his pores. The aching, swelling pain gradually faded, replaced by an intense feeling of comfort. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

’Ahhh~ amazing!’

The sensation was so wonderful that Yu Fei felt he could drift off to sleep.

Twenty minutes later, he began his second round of stance practice. Aided by all the resources, Yu Fei felt his cultivation speed was astonishingly fast. At this rate, he was likely to break through to the second martial realm by the start of his senior year.

At ten in the morning, Yu Fei moved to another location.

He sat on a meditation cushion woven from Wisdom Grass. Around his neck hung the Cyan Jade Bodhi pendant Su Yue had given him the day before. To his left, three sticks of Concentration Incense burned in a censer. And before even starting, he had already drunk a vial of a potion called Soul-Calming Dew.

As if that weren’t enough, Yu Fei took out his remaining Longquan No. 3 Enlightenment Tea. Su Yue had brewed an entire pot for him in a special teapot that preserved its medicinal properties, allowing him to drink a cup each time he practiced his Sword Nurturing Skill.

More importantly, from behind an antique bamboo curtain, the faint, ethereal sound of a qin could be heard. The music was like the breathing of heaven and earth, like a lone crane gliding past the moon.

This was a spiritual martial art Su Yue had mastered. Used one way, it could help a person regulate their breathing; used another, it could disrupt an enemy’s mind.

In this perfect setting, Yu Fei couldn’t help but sigh emotionally. ’So, what on earth did Teacher Su Yue ever see in Yan Sea? To develop such a spiritual obsession... Lovers in this world really don’t follow any rhyme or reason!’

SHING!

The Cyan Lotus Sword shot out of its sheath, stopping steadily right between Yu Fei’s eyebrows. Its sharp tip was practically touching his skin; another fraction of an inch and it would have drawn blood.

Three streams of Sword Intent had been sealed within the Cyan Lotus Sword, corresponding to the Minor Accomplishment, Major Accomplishment, and Perfection stages of the Sword Nurturing Skill.

The power contained within the three streams of Sword Intent decreased with each successive stage, but the fundamental essence of the Sword Intent itself grew progressively more profound.

This was the third stream of Sword Intent, the one corresponding to the Perfection stage of the Sword Nurturing Skill. Yu Fei hadn’t even used the "Command" incantation yet, but he could already feel a terrifying sense of Sharpness radiating from the Cyan Lotus Sword.

The further he progressed in this practice, the closer he came to death.

Aided by the melodious waves of qin music, Yu Fei’s mind gradually returned to a state of calm. He released all his fear, unease, and anxiety, until not a single ripple of emotion remained within him.

He closed his eyes.

"Command!"

...

Sword Intent was always a lofty concept, but it too had its different echelons.

The lowest form grasps the surface of things, capturing a single characteristic; one who wields it can be called a hero.

The middle form uses one concept to encompass all, the principle of "one sword to break all techniques." One who attains it can dominate their peers.

The highest form grasps formless intent, sublime and without equal. One who achieves it can stand above all the world’s heroes.

The third stream of Sword Intent within the Cyan Lotus Sword was utterly different from the first two, a fact Yu Fei felt with absolute clarity.

Within his spiritual space, Yu Fei’s own Sword Intent was agile and lively. It possessed qualities of both Sharpness and resilience and looked truly extraordinary.

But when the new Sword Intent struck, his spiritual space suddenly went dark. Yu Fei’s thoughts grew sluggish. His own Sword Intent wavered, and then, it was silently erased.

This... was a Sword Intent of the absolute highest order.
