Chapter 1250: Chapter 1250: If I Haven’t Returned in Three Months, Pretend I’m Gone

Just now, every word she said to him was clearly remembered in his heart. He wasn’t trying to ignore it, but... he didn’t know how to console her.

He couldn’t walk away now; that would mean all his efforts were in vain.

Yet he equally didn’t want to hurt her.

The deal with William was merely so he could be with her without any burdens.

He wanted to give her a lifelong promise.

But in the end, the person who hurt her the most was himself.

Pei Yuanchen thought about this and couldn’t help but break into a bitter smile, then let out a long sigh.

"He Ziyi." He pulled her tighter into his arms, softly calling her name, yet the woman was completely unaware.

He laughed hoarsely.

...

Ziyi slept very comfortably this time.

She hadn’t slept embraced with him for a long time.

When she woke up, daylight had already filled the room.

In front of her was the man’s sexy chest.

She couldn’t help but reach out and touch it, but he quickly grabbed her wrist.

"Awake?" the man’s voice was hoarse.

"Mm..." Ziyi bit her lip, pretending to be calm and said, "I should head back, Ayuan will be worried."

Pei Yuanchen chuckled hoarsely: "She has been worried all night, a little while won’t make a difference."

Ziyi’s cheeks were flushed.

She puffed up her cheeks.

Pei Yuanchen laughed and pinched her face, then carried her to the bathroom.

The man in the morning had certain needs and naturally wouldn’t let her go; Ziyi was ravaged once more, and after satisfaction, the man cleaned her up and carried her back to the bed, helping her dress.

Ziyi was weak and did not refuse, but her delicate face was indeed hard.

"What, didn’t I satisfy you just now?" He brushed her cheek with his hand.

Inside, a sense of grievance welled up in Ziyi: "You just want to be with me."

That’s why he took off his mask but still refused to give her a definite answer.

"Wasn’t it you who said?" The man curled his lips lazily, "If I long for it, I’ll look for you; you’ll surely satisfy me."

Ziyi widened her eyes.

"Do you want me to find another woman?" He raised an eyebrow, his deep eyes looking at her with a teasing smile.

Ziyi vaguely recalled that she indeed said such a thing.

She suddenly was at a loss for words.

"Uncle Xiaobao, I hate you." Her voice choked a little, then she angrily added, "No, I despise you; I don’t like you even a bit anymore!"

Pei Yuanchen said nothing, just pulled her into his arms again and kissed her lips.

She wanted to reject him with all her might, but all her struggles were easily dissolved by the man.

She was both angry and sad, tears fell uncontrollably.

"At noon, I have to leave for the United States." He uttered this sentence, his fingers combing through her long hair.

Ziyi trembled, her fair fingers gripping his collar tightly, tears falling even more.

"I won’t let you wait too long, let’s agree on a date." He spoke softly.

She gazed at him through tear-filled eyes.

"Three months, if I’m not back in three months, just assume I’m gone." He calmly spoke, as if he had thought it through extensively.

"What does... assume you’re gone mean?" Ziyi widened her eyes.

"If I haven’t come back to find you in three months, it would mean Pei Yuanchen is already dead." He gripped her wrist and repeated word by word.
