Chapter 1012: Chapter 1011: The "Biubiubiu" Kind
Hao Rong looked at Jing Changle with a face full of grievance, "I am Little Qian, Cai Chen, is that you, Cai Chen?"
Jing Changle shuddered all over, "Luo Yirui, quickly give him a Paralysis Talisman!"
Hao Rong’s face, still full of grievance, immediately turned to Luo Yirui, only to see Luo Yirui looking at him with a smirk, already holding a pen in his right hand. Hao Rong quickly composed himself back to normal and said, "No, no! Let’s talk business, business is important!"
Luo Yirui put the pen away, sat down on the sofa, poured himself a glass of water, and said, "Staying home is boring, let’s go out and take a walk, we haven’t really explored Jiang City yet."
Hao Rong’s eyes lit up at the idea. Ever since Luo Yirui and Jing Changle arrived, they’ve been cooped up in the villa, making him think they’re seasoned homebodies.
"Let’s go, let’s go shooting!" Hao Rong said excitedly.
After saying that, he saw Luo Yirui and Jing Changle looking at him with strange expressions, and he was puzzled, "What’s wrong?"
Luo Yirui and Jing Changle couldn’t help but glance downward.
Hao Rong immediately realized, his face turning red, pointing at them and saying, "You two... are really shameless, what are you thinking, really... not learning anything good at such a young age. I meant shooting, like the biubiubiu kind!"
Hao Rong, vexed, finished explaining, only to see two innocent faces looking back at him.
Luo Yirui said, "Yeah, we’re talking about the shooting kind, what else could it be?"
Jing Changle agreed with a nod.
Hao Rong looked desperate, when it comes to pretending, no one can beat these two. Hanging out with them, he always felt like sooner or later he’d be played to death!
The three of them left the Hao Family Villa together, from a second floor window, a thin figure stood there, watching the three walk away.
"Meili, why are you up?" Hao Jiacheng hurried over, just having not found Hao Meili in her room.
Since Hao Meili regained consciousness, Hao Jiacheng, to take care of her better, had her stay on the second floor, in the room next to his.
Hao Meili turned around blankly, looked at Hao Jiacheng, and walked towards her room.
Hao Jiacheng sighed, how could a good person end up like this.
After taking Beisitian’s medicine, Hao Meili recovered quickly, remembering her family and knowing who she was. But regarding the previous events that led her to this state, she had no memory.
This left Hao Jiacheng anxious but helpless.
From that incident, perhaps only Hao Meili survived.
Hao Meili walked suddenly stopped, turning her head to look out the window, seeing the three small figures bouncing along the tree-lined path, she pointed at them and said, "Is that my son?"
Hao Jiacheng sighed again, "Meili, that’s not Xiao Wang..."
Hao Meili lowered her arm, watching silently for a long time, nobody knew what she was thinking. Just when Hao Jiacheng thought she wouldn’t speak again, she spoke.
"I want him."
Hao Jiacheng was stunned, then stepped forward holding her shoulders and said, "Xiao Wang has been gone for two years, that’s not your Xiao Wang, Lili, let’s go back to the room."
Hao Meili was led forward by Hao Jiacheng.
If Xiao Wang hadn’t suddenly disappeared back then, Hao Meili probably wouldn’t have searched the world for her son, and wouldn’t have gone there, eventually ending up like this.
Looking at Hao Meili like this, Hao Jiacheng couldn’t ask more questions. He gently covered Hao Meili with a blanket and turned to leave.
After he left, Hao Meili’s gaze moved to the closed door, then moved upward, looking at the ceiling, tears rolled down from the corners of her eyes.
"My Xiao Wang... you died so miserably."
...
Hao Rong and Luo Yirui walked along the tree-lined path, playing as they walked, finding it quite fun.
"We have to take a taxi today, Uncle Zhang is on leave dealing with family matters, and the other Uncle Liu needs to drive my dad," Hao Rong said.
Going out without a car always felt lacking in style.
For Luo Yirui and Jing Changle, it didn’t matter at all.
In the end, Hao Rong hailed a taxi to a horse ranch on the southern outskirts of the city.
"Weren’t we going shooting?" Luo Yirui asked speechlessly, why come to a horse ranch?
Hao Rong scratched his head and said, "I forgot we’re all minors, and without an adult we can’t get in. Brother Quan used to take us in... horseback riding is pretty fun too, let’s ride horses instead?"
"So, horseback riding lets minors in?" Jing Changle looked at the list of rules on the wall, pointing at one line saying, "A guardian must be present."
Hao Rong looked up at the densely written notice board and asked, "Didn’t you say you didn’t study much?"
Jing Changle crossed his arms, "Not many words I recognize, but I know this line."
Hao Rong shrugged, spreading his hands, "Then I have no solution, if only Brother Quan were here, otherwise you need a guardian, might even need to show proof of guardianship. My dad definitely won’t play with me."
"Your dad is busy accompanying your aunt, where would he find time for you," Luo Yirui said.
Hao Rong scratched his head, "I never thought their relationship was so good, they always used to fight. I and Sun Wang got along well, but since Sun Wang disappeared, aunt never came over much."
Luo Yirui became interested upon hearing this, but didn’t show it, "Who’s Sun Wang?"
"My cousin, my aunt’s son, two years younger than me. I remember we used to always play together, he was pretty much a crybaby, and I found him a bit annoying, but ever since he disappeared, I’ve actually missed him."
"How did he go missing?"
"He was snatched on the way home while playing outside. The street security footage showed the person who grabbed him had a van parked behind, with the door open. That person just scooped up my cousin and dashed into the van, then sped away!" Every time Hao Rong talked about it he felt terrified.
During that time, his dad didn’t even let him leave the house, he was so scared. Fortunately, he’s now in his teens and has memories, traffickers typically don’t target kids his age.
Luo Yirui recalled some of his own experiences, though not exactly the same, they had similarities.
"So how did your aunt end up like this?" Jing Changle listening intently asked.
Hao Rong shrugged, "Who knows, after that my aunt kind of broke down, she went searching everywhere for Xiao Wang, kept looking and looking. Later I heard my dad say there might be more hope this time, seemed like my aunt went somewhere, but two months ago my aunt suddenly came back, shockingly thin, her face bruised, she just fainted at our doorstep and was unconscious. If it weren’t for Aunt Bei, she might still not be awake."
Hao Rong took the chance to flatter.
Luo Yirui appreciated the praise.
He was now pondering, where did Hao Rong’s aunt go? Those things should have been stolen from that place!
