Chapter 1683: Chapter 924: Seizing Control by Force (Part 2)

To Garrison, the familiar Dominic wasn’t that big of a threat.

He knew very well the abilities and methods of the Legendary Fire Demon Dominic, and he had countermeasures prepared.

But this Legendary Enchanting Demon Veronica always gave him a strange feeling; her Mysterious Strength and unique fighting style made Garrison somewhat apprehensive.

He had no idea where Dominic had found this helper, and he couldn’t help but grow more cautious in his heart, not daring to be the least bit careless.

Veronica’s combat Experience, however, was extremely rich.

After crossing blows with Garrison only a few times, she quickly saw through Garrison’s intentions.

His goal was very clear: he wanted to drain that bizarre power in the Snake Scale Whip that targeted Soul Fire, and only then would he personally strike to deliver Veronica a fatal blow.

After all, Soul Fire was the core of Undead Creatures.

For Garrison, even with his immense Strength, any attack aimed at Soul Fire was still a huge threat.

Once his Soul Fire was damaged, his Strength would be greatly reduced, and he might even face a life-or-death crisis.

However, the long whip in Veronica’s hand that had a special effect against the Undead was only this one piece.

It had been prepared specifically for Garrison; they had originally thought they wouldn’t need it, yet now it had become Veronica’s trump card.

At this moment, facing Garrison’s calculations, she could only rely on the long whip to block one wave after another of Garrison’s fierce attacks.

Garrison’s offensive methods were endless. At times he would summon sharp Bone Blades that came slashing at her with howling wind, and at other times he would cast eerie Undead Magic to disrupt her Status.

But Veronica was not the kind of person who would sit and wait for death.

While desperately fending off Garrison’s attacks, her gaze kept sweeping across the battlefield as she plotted a plan in her heart.

She began secretly edging closer toward Dominic’s side of the battlefield.

Dominic was currently entangled with a powerful Legendary Bone Dragon, the situation deadlocked.

If she could join forces with Dominic, there might still be a sliver of hope.

Facing Garrison alone, neither she nor Dominic had any good options.

Finally, after successfully blocking Garrison’s Bone Blade Slashing Spell once, Veronica seized the moment and suddenly flew backward at full speed.

Her figure streaked across the sky like a shooting star, instantly shortening the distance between herself, Dominic, and that Legendary Bone Dragon by a huge margin.

Seeing this, Garrison didn’t hesitate in the slightest and immediately Charged after Veronica.

The Undead Aura around him grew thicker and thicker, like a mass of black smoke tightly wrapping around him, and his speed was frightening.

The Bone Dragon that had originally been locked in combat with Dominic sensed a new enemy approaching and immediately let out a heaven-shaking roar.

The roar boomed across the battlefield like rolling thunder, making the surrounding Earth tremble slightly.

At the same time, the Bone Dragon opened its enormous bloody maw, and an Aged Breath surged toward Veronica like a raging flood.

This Aged Breath contained a powerful curse. Once struck, the body would rapidly age and Strength would drop accordingly.

But Veronica had long been prepared. Her figure flickered, and she slipped past the Bone Dragon’s breath like a ghost.

Immediately after, she crossed Space in an instant and appeared on the Bone Dragon’s back.

The Bone Dragon instantly sensed Veronica’s presence and angrily twisted its white-bone skull.

Those sharp teeth, like blades, snapped viciously toward Veronica, trying to tear her off its back.

Veronica pressed her remaining left hand onto the Bone Dragon’s body, an inexplicable radiance flashing through her eyes.

That radiance was like dazzling starlight, containing Mysterious and powerful Strength.

In an instant, an immensely powerful Spiritual fluctuation erupted from Veronica’s body, surging completely into the Bone Dragon below like a crashing tide.

This Spiritual fluctuation was strong and strange, carrying Veronica’s unique will and Strength.

It was like an invisible blade stabbing straight into the depths of the Bone Dragon’s soul, trying to interfere with and seize control of the Bone Dragon’s consciousness.

A hint of confusion and struggle appeared in the Bone Dragon’s once-fierce eyes, and its body trembled slightly, as if it were enduring Chaos within its consciousness.

When the approaching Garrison saw this, his expression turned somewhat ugly.

He had already realized that his link with the Legendary Bone Dragon had been temporarily severed.

It was as if an invisible force had cut him off from the Bone Dragon; he had lost control of this Legendary Bone Dragon.

Garrison cast Undead Magic, trying to reestablish his link with the Bone Dragon and snatch back control over it.

But how could Veronica let him succeed so easily? She increased her output of spiritual power, using her racial Talent to suppress the Bone Dragon’s consciousness, causing Garrison’s efforts to fail.

Dominic saw this scene and was overjoyed.

Finally, a chance!

Dominic’s gaze was like a torch, locked firmly on the battlefield situation.

Seeing Veronica successfully disrupt Garrison’s control over the Bone Dragon, he didn’t hesitate at all and instantly unleashed his full Strength.

Dominic gripped his blazing giant axe with both hands, stomped fiercely against the ground, and his whole body shot toward Garrison like an arrow from a bow.

Just as he Charged, something strange happened.

His body suddenly expanded rapidly, and in the blink of an eye he had transformed into a Giant the size of a small mountain.

This Giant stood a hundred meters tall, muscles knotted across his body as if cast from steel.

With every step he took, the ground shuddered and Dust billowed up.

The terrifying pressure poured toward Garrison like something tangible, like a moving mountain trying to crush him.

At the same time, extremely dense Abyss Power and Fire Element frenziedly gathered around Dominic’s body.

The Abyss Power churned like a black vortex, radiating an Evil aura, as if it could Devour everything around it.

The almost tangible Fire Element burned like raging flames, blazing upward, twisting and warping the air around him.

This was Dominic’s strongest Strength, and also his final trump card.

To gain an edge in this life-and-death battle, he had unleashed this power without hesitation, ready to deliver Garrison a fatal blow.

Garrison was in full Concentration, trying to regain control over the Bone Dragon, when he suddenly felt a powerful threat crash toward him.

He jerked his head up to see Dominic’s mountain-like figure Charging straight at him.

At this point he knew that if he continued to fight for control of the Bone Dragon, he would inevitably take Dominic’s full-force strike head-on.

With no choice, he could only temporarily give up the struggle. His figure retreated backward like a ghost, pulling away and narrowly avoiding Dominic’s attack.

Just as Garrison was about to steady himself and launch a counterattack, a very familiar breath blasted toward him.

This breath carried immense Strength and an icy chill—it was his summoned Legendary Bone Dragon attacking him.

Veronica had temporarily seized control of the Bone Dragon and was using it to attack Garrison, trying to disrupt his rhythm.

However, Veronica herself was in a miserable state at this moment.

Her once-fair face was now smeared with blood, and the blood flowing from her seven orifices made for a shocking sight.

Forcibly snatching control of the Bone Dragon was no easy task. Although she had succeeded with her powerful Spiritual Power and racial Talent, it had also forced her soul to collide countless times with Garrison’s powerful soul.

Each collision was like a Heavy Hammer smashing into her soul, inflicting tremendous damage on her spirit.

Her body swayed, as if a light breeze could topple her, but she still clenched her teeth and held on.

She tried to keep controlling the Bone Dragon to pose an even greater threat to Garrison.

This time, Garrison truly found it hard to accept.

It was troublesome enough that the enemy had a weapon specifically targeting a Legendary Witch Demon, but now his own summoned creature had its control forcibly taken away.

This was something he’d never imagined before.

This is something an Enchanting Demon can do?

An uncontrollable chill and fury flashed in Garrison’s eyes, and he stretched out his right hand toward Dominic.
