"Hello, Miss Clarke. I’m Vera Wave from Ashton’s Advertising Department." Vera smiled and extended her hand. "I’ll be in charge of your photo shoot today. I look forward to working with you!"

Maggie Clarke shifted her gaze back to her phone, picked up her coffee cup, and continued to preen and strike poses. "Why isn’t Director Lin here?"

Her father had taught her long ago that people tend to bully the weak and fear the strong; the softer you were, the more they would push. When encountering someone like Maggie Clarke, you had to be even tougher than them.

Saying this, she straightened up and turned to the nearby coffee shop staff.

"Don’t forget to charge Miss Clarke for her breakfast; it’s not included in the advertising payment!"

Maggie Clarke shot to her feet.
