Chapter 480: Chapter 314: Tier 6 Wondrous Item, Bastard?

Mr. Ya took this opportunity to absorb all his upgrade materials and said excitedly, "Boss, I’ve upgraded almost all my skills! Only the last one isn’t Tier 4 yet!"

"That was fast!" Su Ze said in surprise.

Mr. Ya’s pace was quite a bit slower than Su Ze’s, but compared to other Saint-level Overlords, it was countless times faster.

"It’s all thanks to you."

Mr. Ya wasn’t just flattering him. Su Ze had indeed helped a great deal while he was collecting upgrade materials, providing support through his connections and allowing him to get help from both Evolutionary Technology and Chen Suifeng.

This trip to the Central Treasure Vault, in particular, had allowed him to upgrade several skills at once, with two of them even jumping straight to Tier 5!

’I’m so jealous of you guys with fewer skills. You upgrade so fast...’ Su Ze thought.

Having more skills than others meant he had more to upgrade, which naturally cost more time and money.

"Is your skill off cooldown yet? Try and see if you can get into this chest," Su Ze asked.

They had already reaped a significant haul of treasures from the vault, including even God-level materials. This made him all the more curious about what was inside this final chest.

"It’s ready. I’ll give it a try."

Mr. Ya nodded, immediately activated his "Void" skill, and instantly vanished before Su Ze’s eyes.

Since the chest couldn’t fit two people, Mr. Ya didn’t bring Su Ze with him this time, wanting to avoid them both getting squeezed inside.

This also meant that if Mr. Ya successfully entered, Su Ze would have to wait outside for at least half an hour.

While in his Void state, he couldn’t perform any actions. So even if Mr. Ya got into the chest, he wouldn’t be able to immediately put the treasures into a Storage Ring and bring them out.

He would have to enter the chest, cancel his Void state, collect all the treasures inside into a storage item, and then wait for his "Void" skill to cool down again before he could get out.

However, Mr. Ya’s figure quickly reappeared in the vault, letting Su Ze know he had likely failed.

Sure enough, Mr. Ya shook his head. "There’s a denser Energy Shield inside the chest. I can’t pass through it."

Su Ze couldn’t help but feel disappointed. He suspected the chest might very well contain the God-level extracts and wondrous objects he so desperately wanted.

One could guess the value of the items inside just by how tightly the ship’s owner had guarded it.

Mr. Ya said, "I have a feeling that if my ’Void’ skill could be upgraded one more time, I should be able to get into that chest."

That was easier said than done. The "Void" skill, like "Divine Grace of Evolution," came from a Golden Bloodline Crystal, and its skill level was frighteningly high. Where could they possibly find the materials to upgrade "Void"?

If such materials existed on Blue Star at all, they could only be found within that mysterious legacy.

"Looks like it’s time to put exploring the mysterious legacy on the agenda."

With Mr. Ya’s failure to enter the chest, his "Void" skill was on cooldown again. The two of them had no choice but to wait for it to be ready before they could leave the Central Treasure Vault.

After waiting around in the Central Treasure Vault for a good half an hour, Su Ze and Mr. Ya finally left. Carrying their bountiful harvest, they went to find the Mother Tree.

"I didn’t expect you could actually enter the Central Treasure Vault."

The Mother Tree expressed great surprise that they had managed to get inside, since the Central Treasure Vault had been built, after all, to withstand even gods.

"We only managed to get into the vault itself. There’s a large treasure chest inside that we can’t open at all," Su Ze said regretfully. "But we did get a few things, and we’d like to ask you about the uses of these alien items."

As he spoke, he took out everything they had obtained from the Central Treasure Vault.

It was mostly a collection of materials and medicines, along with a large bottle of Evolutionary Liquid and an unknown seed.

Su Ze was most curious about the seed, so he asked about it first.

But the Mother Tree’s answer surprised him.

"This isn’t a seed. In the terminology of your Blue Star, this is a Tier 6 wondrous object called a ’Sword-Spore’."

"’Whore’?" Su Ze was stunned.
