Chapter 465: Chapter 310: Bountiful Harvest

’I’ll just have to take it one step at a time for now.’

Su Ze had two ideas. The first was to find a way to obtain another Bloodline Crystal to use as the second source for his Venerable-level extraction.

Bloodline Crystals contained Divine Skill Prototypes, and the skills he had obtained from them were all very powerful.

The second option was to collect all four puzzle pieces and visit the site of the mysterious inheritance.

Now that he was a Venerable Powerhouse, he had the strength and confidence to explore it.

The mysterious inheritance came from a powerful member of the Human Race from across the cosmos; it might contain the extract he needed.

With this in mind, Su Ze took the initiative to tell Chen Suifeng about the clue he’d found regarding the third puzzle piece.

Chen Suifeng took this very seriously and muttered to himself, "A defiler... a black man... quite strong, most likely a Saint-level powerhouse. That narrows the search parameters considerably. It shouldn’t be too hard to identify the target. If I make some inquiries on the Flame Emperor Continent, I should be able to find something."

Su Ze was also hoping to use the channels of Chen Suifeng and the other leaders of the Lin Hua Country to help him find the third puzzle piece.

Once the man’s identity was confirmed, he would have to consider going on the offensive to get the third puzzle piece.

Speaking of defilers, Su Ze was reminded of Draco, an old acquaintance of Mr. Ya’s. Draco had been secretly helping the Filth Earth Organization procure supplies. He might be a lead to one of their strongholds.

However, Su Ze had other matters to attend to and didn’t have time to follow that lead just yet. In any case, the hypnotic effect of the Charming Fox Tail would last for several months, so he could deal with it later.

"When you’re finished with your business, make some time to visit the Lin Hua Country. Mr. Ke wants to meet you," Chen Suifeng said suddenly.

Su Ze guessed that Mr. Ke’s sudden request to meet was likely related to him having figured out the Nian Race’s plot. Chen Suifeng had once said he would try to persuade Mr. Ke to fully support Su Ze’s path to godhood, making him the hope of Blue Star.

Su Ze agreed. After bidding farewell to Chen Suifeng and the others, he and Mr. Ya headed for Dongli.

...

Liou Wenxin’s laboratory.

Han Xiaoke was scrubbing test tubes when two people suddenly appeared beside her, startling her.

Once she got a clear look at them, she breathed a sigh of relief, but then she grew excited.

"Su Ze, Sen— General! General Yargha!" She had subconsciously started to call them ’senior,’ only to remember their statuses were now worlds apart from what they once were, so she quickly corrected herself.

Now, Su Ze and Mr. Ya were major figures at the highest echelons of the Dongli Kingdom. It was only natural for Han Xiaoke to be excited to see them.

"Xiaoke, long time no see." Su Ze greeted her with a smile. "Where’s my sister?"

"Dr. Liou just finished an experiment and went out to buy milk tea."

Su Ze extended his Spiritual Power and immediately located Liou Wenxin, who was carrying milk tea on her way back to the lab.

He and Mr. Ya sat on the sofa and waited for a moment.

Liou Wenxin walked into the lab and was pleasantly surprised to see Su Ze and Mr. Ya. "You two were gone for so long," she said. "I see you finally remembered the way back."

She sighed, a little wistfully.

She recalled a year ago, when she, Su Ze, Mrs. Yun, and Mr. Ya had just returned to Dongli. The four of them saw each other almost every day back then. They all lived on the Dongli University campus, like a small family.

But now, as their power grew and they all became truly important figures in the Dongli Kingdom, they were apart more often than they were together. It was a rare occasion for all four of them to gather.

Now, Liou Wenxin was the only one who regularly stayed at the villa on campus, making it feel much emptier.

Su Ze chuckled. "Sister, I brought you a great gift this time."

"What is it?" Liou Wenxin asked nonchalantly.

She was secretly wealthy and lacked for no evolution resources, so she wasn’t expecting much from whatever gift Su Ze had brought.

Su Ze took out a large, bald head and placed it on the table.

This gave Han Xiaoke a terrible fright, and she couldn’t help but let out a scream.

Liou Wenxin rolled her eyes at Su Ze and teased, "You really don’t think of your sister as a lady, do you? Giving a severed head as a gift?"

Joking aside, she still examined the head carefully. "Could it be..." she guessed.

Su Ze nodded and sent a mental message, "The head of a Spiritual Venerable. It’s still alive."

Liou Wenxin’s eyes immediately lit up. It was clear she was quite pleased with this gift.

After sending Han Xiaoke away, she locked the lab door from the inside and asked, "Where did you get this?"

Su Ze then gave her a rough summary of what had happened.

When Liou Wenxin heard that Su Ze had completed his fifth evolution and become a Venerable, even with her usually unflappable nature, she was left speechless.

A Saint-level Venerable... That made him the undisputed number one expert in the entire Dongli Kingdom!

’Before I knew it, the young man I met in that little bar in the Mu Country has already reached such heights.’

’Meeting Su Ze had changed her destiny. Otherwise, she might have perished while crossing the Black Rock Mountain Range, or she might still be imprisoned in Luofan Academy.’

’And it wasn’t just her. The destiny of everyone around Su Ze had been changed by him.’

’With Su Ze’s help, Mrs. Yun had become a Saint-level Overlord, extending her lifespan.’

’At Su Ze’s urging, Mr. Ya had left Luofan and joined Dongli, eventually growing to become Dongli’s Guardian God and, what’s more, avenging his deep-seated hatred.’

’Even the entire nation of Dongli had gone from weak to strong after Su Ze’s arrival!’

’And now, Su Ze even possessed the power to influence the situation on the entire Lin Hua Continent.’

’This young man was a miracle in and of himself, and he was constantly creating new ones.’

After a long moment, Liou Wenxin calmed the shock in her heart and smiled. "You make it sound so nice, calling it a gift for me. Don’t you just want me to turn it into a base station for you?"

However, the opportunity to study the head of a living Spiritual Venerable up close was incredibly rare, and Liou Wenxin had no intention of passing it up.

She readily agreed and contacted Principal Zhou Wenshan for help in preparing to produce more spiritual communication phones.

The head of a living Spiritual Venerable was still dangerous. As a precaution, Su Ze decided not to leave, standing guard in Liou Wenxin’s laboratory and constantly monitoring the head for any movement or activity.

Turning the head into a base station wouldn’t be a quick job. While keeping a part of his attention on it, Su Ze pulled Mr. Ya over to take stock of their recent gains.

They had made out quite well on this trip. Aside from the Spiritual Venerable’s head and Mr. Ya completing his "Void" skill, Su Ze had also absorbed a large amount of Silver-gray Energy, greatly increasing his power.

He still had a large silver ingot left.

But beyond all that, they still had the storage items of six Saint-level powerhouses to sort through.
