Chapter 461: Chapter 309: All Must Die
Besides, she knew Mr. Ya was Su Ze’s companion. She refused to believe Su Ze would remain indifferent if she attacked him.
Mr. Ya, also afraid of getting caught in the crossfire, had already hidden himself far away, beyond the attack range of a Spiritual Venerable. However, he wasn’t so far that Penny couldn’t easily locate him and the others with her Spiritual Power.
She flew straight toward Mr. Ya and the others.
Her actions immediately put Su Ze on alert, and he guessed her objective.
"You’re courting death!" Su Ze had planned to deal with Penny last, but now he had no choice.
He immediately sent half of his clones to intercept Penny while sending a telepathic message to Mr. Ya.
Mr. Ya’s expression turned grim upon receiving Su Ze’s message. Spiritual attacks were inherently difficult to defend against, and he had to protect not only himself but also the more than twenty refugees behind him.
Seeing Su Ze split off half his clones to stop her, Penny’s face lit up with joy. It meant her plan was working; she had tied up at least half of Su Ze’s fighting strength.
Penny’s flight speed suddenly surged as she shot straight toward Mr. Ya.
After communicating with Su Ze, Mr. Ya suddenly took the initiative and dashed forward, simultaneously creating a Shadow Clone. Both his main body and the clone moved toward Penny.
Without hesitation, Penny launched a spiritual attack at Mr. Ya!
Mr. Ya instantly swapped places with his Shadow Clone, but he didn’t completely evade the spiritual attack. Blood gushed from his mouth and nose as if a faucet had been turned on.
Penny’s face showed her astonishment. For a Dominator-level fighter to only be injured—not even incapacitated—by her spiritual attack was already outrageous.
Normally, a Dominator with weaker Spiritual Power and no means of spiritual protection might have had their spirit shattered and their soul extinguished.
But Mr. Ya’s defenses were formidable; he possessed a resistance to spiritual attacks far beyond that of an ordinary Dominator.
Just as Penny prepared to attack again, Su Ze’s clones charged forward, and a volley of Gravity Chains shot toward her from all angles.
Penny’s Spiritual Power was so immense that she could actually track the trajectory of the Gravity Chains. She twisted her body constantly, using her Spiritual Power to conjure up "spiritual decoys" with temporary physical forms to intercept and neutralize Su Ze’s attack.
She no longer had time for Mr. Ya and quickly accelerated again, trying to put distance between herself and Su Ze.
She couldn’t let Su Ze get close.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ya’s main body and Shadow Clone split up. His main body, covered by the Double-Sided Turtle Shell, began rolling at high speed like a tire toward Penny, while his Shadow Clone vanished toward the other side of the battlefield.
Mr. Ya, now a rolling shell, shot up into the sky and rammed straight into the airborne Penny.
Penny was desperately fleeing Su Ze’s pursuit when Mr. Ya suddenly blocked her path, infuriating her.
"Die!" Penny unleashed her strongest spiritual attack without hesitation, determined to obliterate Mr. Ya’s soul in a single blow.
But Mr. Ya withstood the blow and slammed violently into Penny.
His Double-Sided Turtle Shell also had some effect in weakening spiritual attacks, so his soul didn’t shatter under the blow as Penny had expected.
Instead, it was Penny who was stopped in her tracks by Mr. Ya’s ram.
Su Ze finally caught up from behind. Half of his clones merged into one, transforming into a giant that grabbed Penny’s body with one massive hand. With a SQUELCH, it crushed everything below her neck into a paste.
Only her head remained, but she was somehow still alive.
Su Ze slapped Penny’s head hard, dazing her. He then used his own Spiritual Power to suppress her, restricting her thoughts and destroying the parts of her brain and soul that stored her memories and consciousness.
Then, he casually tossed Penny’s head into his Storage Ring and materialized a Regeneration Fruit, handing it to Mr. Ya.
Mr. Ya swallowed the Regeneration Fruit, and his injuries—including the spiritual damage—healed in an instant.
The two then exchanged a knowing glance. In the next instant, Mr. Ya vanished, leaving only a shadow in his place.
...
On the other side of the battlefield, Penny’s fate weighed heavily on Denier and the other two. They never imagined that in their four-on-one siege of Su Ze, not only would they fail to gain any advantage, but they would be the first to lose someone.
Su Ze’s other half of his clones were locked in combat with Whitebeard and Denier.
Imre had just managed to purge the shadow from within his body and extinguish the eerie green flames on his skin. However, the disease within him remained, severely affecting his condition.
Furthermore, he could no longer maintain the enhancement from the fifth-order artifact. His power had fallen back to its normal level—in fact, due to the disease, he was even weaker than before.
"The three of us need to work together and get rid of these clones first! It’ll be trouble if his other half gets here to back them up!" Whitebeard shouted.
And indeed, after dealing with Penny, the other half of Su Ze’s clones were now rushing their way.
Imre, looking listless and ill, said, "If this doesn’t work, we should just retreat."
"Absolutely not!" Denier retorted. "Don’t give up. It’s just Penny. She wasn’t contributing much anyway. Our overall strength hasn’t been weakened. You just need to get yourself back in fighting shape as soon as possible."
Whitebeard added, "I’ll help you purify the virus in your body."
Hearing this, Imre had no choice but to heft his greatsword and charge toward Su Ze’s clones.
Just then, Mr. Ya swapped places with his Shadow Clone, instantly appearing at the edge of the battlefield.
The group of Su Ze’s clones there quickly merged, consolidated, and shrank in size, appearing beside Mr. Ya.
